The entire universe was affected by the Second Dawn and the period of Replication. This included beings like The Dark King and Prophet, who were pretty strong when the reset happened. They both had to find unique ways to survive and hold onto their influence without powers. The Dark King had his legions that he commanded. The Prophet had his minions and followers, etc. They were lucky that they weren’t overthrown after turning weak. That’d be a testament to how clever they were and much power they had over their subordinates, etc. For right now, we’re just going to focus on TDK.

With the restart, the Dark King was forced to start from nothing. He was broken down into a shadow of his former self in stature and power. (Like, he literally got smaller!) To understand what he was about to do you’d have to understand his hood! He lived in the Core District (south central), which was dangerous by itself. He had to rebuild his strength. It was true the Core wasn’t as bad as it used to be, but it was still bad. Even though the demon spirits that caused chaos in the Core had lost their power, they still had vast numbers. The constant fighting between them only helped then get stronger: the struggle for life at all times. Consume or be consumed. Just the way Oni’s operated. Thug life.

So he lived in a bad place. The might that had given him the right to rule was gone. He knew he could only BS his power for so long and training was hard, hard and arduous. Instead of going that route, he uses his mental mind to come up with an idea. He would use deception and his wits to gain absolute power!

Settlements were popping up everywhere since Replication. People were building like nuts. Inanis was getting all big, Jun’Jo made something out of nothing, Theden was getting its weight up, and NPC people were also making villages, etc. It was a social boom. New spread about a new warrior fort/village named Acura. No one really had a good understanding of when it was created, but ppl starting flocking to it about 2 weeks ago. It was situated to the East of the core at map area O8A near the Central River and rumor had it that it was filled with men who were looking to conquer the core, evict the oni’s and reinhabit it for humans and kamis. News spread through the human settlements about this place. They wanted to gather up as many strong men as possible and then lead the first successful raid into the city. After getting there, the plan was to set up a couple human forts and spread out. The adventurer’s guilds were all in. Hell yeah’s and hoo rah’s all around.

So what did this place look like? It was a mix between old and new Sai City meaning that it was East City mixed with the past realm part of Sai City. When the Time Meld happened, it basically fused together two times, so some buildings would be half concrete and half wood and stone. They’d make it work tho. So even though some of the buildings around it were jacked up, the village of Acura actually didn’t look that bad. The old pavement streets of the city were the roads. Houses and shops were set in the buildings that were on the block. There are new wooden signs pointing where things were and the buildings would be fixed up and maintained so that they weren’t all falling apart and crumbly looking. Prolly the most impressive building was the tavern that was half bar half adventurer’s guild hang out. It was a four story building that used to be a flat with the lobby cleared out as the bar and bedrooms and stuff in the upper floors. A 30 foot log wall surrounded the village like a barricade from the rest of the city. The village is pretty spread out, prolly three or four big city blocks. At night, tall stone fire pillars light up the village like lamps, etc. Ppl who can sense can sense magic all around the village, probably something do to w/the fortification and town defense.

A hail goes across the land! Acura sends out a call to the major villages to send participants for the Core Raid. In the meantime, they decide to hold a fighting tournament a week before the raid. That way they could choose captains for the raid. The way it works out is that someone who ranked in the tournament would have free reign over leading a group. The area they conquered would be theirs to keep and they’d have the backing of the other groups. B/c they were estimating 5 armies, needing 5 captains, they would choose the top 5 in the tournament to be the leaders.

So there it is. The news would go out about the raid and the tournament. The tournament would be first. The saga action picks up (for the members) the night before the tournament. The saga begins (for the moderator) the day of the tournament. Members have a choice in joining the tournament or standing by for the Core Raid… basically they can do whatever they want.

So Pennywise had his orders, sign up for this tournament, not to win just to weaken people. Seemed like the dark kings plan was to get the strongest people here tired out just so that he could kill them all when their guards were down. Well thats what Penny surmised anyways. As for finding another Oni that had been causing trouble around here. Well that was another issue. The moment he started thinking about that the memory of people asking around for missing persons popped into his mind. Perhaps that would be an avenue of investigation. As for signing up for the tournament. Eh. Penny wasn’t really the out in the open fighting type. He preferred to get things done all sneaky style. Out in the open he was vulnerable. Limited to physical actions as, if he used his magic. The coat would lose its effect and instantly those with spiritual senses would be able to tell precisely what he was. Which was not as bad in this world as in the other...but being the typical normal human had its benefits.

So he wasn’t going to sign up to the tournament. Though the Dark King might be pissed at that. Penny didn’t much care, he wasn’t going to jeopardise his long term goals for a short term helper. But there were other ways of sabotaging those in the tournie. And he’d get to that soon enough. He moved away from the warehouse and back towards the town main. On his way back to the bar he spotted a rather familiar looking group of people. Sparky. Pimp master general and toots. There was only one he was really interested in, and that was the busty maiden who owed him a drink or two. Slowly walking up behind her he reached out a fingerless gloved hand and tapped on her shoulder. ” Hey toots”. He said in that mischievous voice of his.

Akasha would continue to look at the people by the booth signing up for the tournament. From what it appeared, there was going to be close to none female participants besides herself...something she liked very much because from personal experience, females have not been able to provide any kind of challenge, even those who tried to act all bad ass. She at least tried to get an idea based on their physical builds, though she wouldn't rely on that alone. Before anything else could be processed, someone singing would pull her attention only for a moment. She did not expect to find some kind of musician here, though this place held many surprises. With her attention broken from the people signing up, Akasha puts her mind back on finding that Elusive Onikonjou, so she would walk and begin making her way away from the Tavern and in a different direction. She wasn't running or made it obvious that she was searching...she just walked with a calm composure. Akasha wasn't a big music fan, but she had to admit to herself that the person playing wasn't half bad. Akasha let it be known to herself that if she didn't find this Onikonjou before the tournament started, then the search would definitely be placed on hold until the tournament itself ended.

Jyn did recall the time that Sanzon spoke. It was one of his few visits to that facility that the Kami seemed to have acquired via legal routes. Sanzon’s words bring to recollection how the Kami always complained when being grouped together with other demons, but with a simple shift of his gaze, Jyn was able to verify that though they had differing auras, Sanzon seemed to be at home in the company of the large dark ‘Oni’ demon that was with him. There didn’t seem to be anything benevolent about the large male other than the fact that he wasn’t currently and actively attacking humans. Still, Jyn was able to see a portion of his point which seemed to be that ‘those spirits are crazy and we’re not’ or something to that effect. Though Jyn had never really studied the social difference between spirits, he could understand that there were extreme versions of every race, be it human or probably spirit. Most of Jyn’s focus up to now had been the difference in spirits abilities since it seemed almost all spirits who came into the city were bad, which was the main reason for SpiritNet. Jyn’s basis of his prejudice had been earned over time and experience, not really something blindly followed. From his experience, Sanzon seemed to be an outlier who claimed there were others like him. Then, it wasn’t a risk that the city could take, but perhaps now, the tables would have turned enough for such a thing to be beneficial to humans. Nodding to Sanzon, Jyn comments, “that’s good and well, but I’m a commissioner of an organization that’s long gone. The resources for me to be useful are no longer pres…” His words would pause for a moment as he hears something from the side and notices a male of questionable origins, bothering his beloved.

A the signup booth, the woman's braw arcs when it seems that wrist band is to be placed on those entering into it. The guard or whoever gets a death glair that was covered up by the dark sunglasses. When the band is tried to put onto her wrist, it would be snatched from the hand and placed into one of the pockets of the white coat. And some added information about a meeting between the village leader and those that have troops will be taking places is given. Yuki seems to fail at passing along important information that could have been given beforehand. Light doesn't pay too much attention to the other people signing up at the booth. The signing up was finished and now it was time to get something to eat. A pastry really wasn't what one would call a meal but food was food and Light seems to have developed somewhat of a taste for sweet things. She almost likes sweet things as much as she likes shinny things. So much so that she has been running low on shinny things to trade for a while now, mostly due to the fact that she has stopped thieving since she started living in Jun'Jo. Stealing from the neighbors isn't a very smart thing to be doing. But she wasn't in Jun'Jo so if she happens to bump into some stranger that drops a few shinny things it will be ok. Light turns to Battousai, who seems to be looking around for something. "We ready to get going?"

The last string of the song is strum, and the ash haired woman looks up. The emerald gem that was her eye looks across the way to catch the sight of the large man at the leaving the booth. The old master of the large demon grins for a moment as her eye follows her once guardian servant. He seems to have gather up a rather interesting lot of people. The only three she can identify is the cop guy that was a commissioner with the useless snake haired chick and the priest woman that she had run into a few times. Seeing these same people that where once all thrown into the past by some supernatural force once before and now all happen to end up some twisted world where the timeline has blended together, gave her a little bit of hope that she the idiot she is looking for is somewhere or there could be a way of getting back. The strap to the guitar is pulled up over her head before she places the guitar back into the case and closes it up. It is then lifted up and carried on her back. The torn hem of the long white coat brushes over the paved street as she walks towards the large looking man that she had once summoned into this world. The talk heels of her boots click as she moves into his shadow. "It is good to see you again, Yun Yun." The small woman would call out from behind the large man. I slight grin is placed on her lips and the emerald eye has an odd crimson glow to it in his shadow making her rather charming in her own way.

Since there is so much going on at the moment with Sanzon taking control of the conversation again. But that was when a familiar voice echoed across the way and she turned to look at a pleasant face. Her own breaking out in a large smile. Taking a few steps towards her, she stopped and the smile fell for a moment, as she looked back towards the large form of Domen. Currently he was occupied with signing up for some fight thing. That most likely she would have to heal people afterward, she decided that he didn't need her at the current moment, nor did he seem to give her a second thought. As usual. So for the moment she was free. Her head turned back around to smile at the other Priestess>

As she moved closer and met the young woman, she opened her arms and hugged her gently. A sad smile on her face as she leaned back. "Seijin. You look wonderful. And I am so glad you are here. Especially with everything that has happened. Apparently we have missed twenty-five years. Or something like that. Not everyone made it." Her hands dropped from the girl's shoulders as the silver priestess stepped back a few paces. "My temple is in ruins. My home is being rebuilt, and my island is inhabited by people that don't remember. The People have forgotten the old ways."

From the look's of it, her hello had gone unnoticed. Oh well it didn't matter, but she didn't have anything else to do now that her man was speaking with Sanzon and just bickering about the current situation and the state of the world. So she just stood there looking pretty, it wasn't much longer before she heard a familiar voice. A voice she had heard a long time ago and not that long ago. She turned and looked to who it was and gave a smirk. "Well, well, well look who we have here." Yeah, it was him. It was nice to see a familiar face, one that she had even fought alongside, even though he was a demon, that didn't matter.

She crossed her arm's as he was still bent up on getting that drink with her. To believe that he held such a firm grasp on this one thing. Goes to show you this oni is stubborn. He made her laugh really as it was a bit impressive after all this time and he still wanted to get a drink. "That would be quite nice, but alas my friend, I don't think that will go too well while I'm here with my love." she looked back at Jyn who had finally decided to look at her and she stared with a broad closed lipped smile and lifted a hand and waved it.

High Priestess Kazakura, it really was her! It's not just some delusional illusion. No, wave of heat fooling her sights! No! This is really, really her! Seijin rode pretty quickly upon Epona and came to a skidding halt before she had hopped off and finished the last couple feet on her own where she pretty much ran into Kazakura embracing her in a strong hug. Seijin's heart was racing as Kazakura had embraced her as well. Seijin was so happy that she wanted to cry, tear's welling up in her eyes. She listened to what was stated by the Priestess and she nodded her head and wiped her own eyes as she looked at the silver priestess. So much of her had changed from last she saw her, but that sad expression she saw in her eyes didn't. Seijin's left hand rose up slowly touching lightly upon Kazakura's cheek, still a little bit in disbelief that this wasn't just some elaborate illusion. Seijin herself had changed some as well, her hair had gotten longer, she wore her same kimono that she had always worn, but this time she actually adorned leather armor; the breastplate and greaves, and upon her back strapped was a very beautiful naginata and a targe. "I thought I'd never see you again." she managed out a look of worry upon her face. "My temple is in ruin's as well, I had been alone for many months inside the ruins. It was so very lonely."

Said Penny as Izumi promtly turned down his request at debt collection. But it was fine, the drink could wait. He had a long ass life. Though did she? Eh, he would have to look into that one. Though judging that during the final battle he had seen her with wings and snakes for hair...well that seemed to come down to a pretty solid maybe. Still Penny just strugged and pointed. " Alriigghttyy but I'm adding on interest from today". A sly grin escaped his lips. Yes yes, interest. The greatest invention ever by clever bankers could now be applied to alcohol. He looked over at Pimp Master General as Izumi waved at him. Ah yes, Shiori's one true love. He wondered if he should bother telling toots about that little scene he'd seen taking place between them. The whole profession of love, it had been awfully one sided. Although it could be fun to watch a cat fight. Then again though, he was technically Shiori's bodyguard....hm...then again he didn't even know if the bitch was still alive. That was a good point to bring up actually whilst he was here.

" Regardless, suppose its good to see you here. Though I've still not managed to find my boss! Don't suppose you've seen the bitch lying around in a ditch somewhere?".

He stroked his chin at how he'd worded that question. Eh direct enough and to the point. If she was dead...well he didn't know what he would do, probably find something but he'd probably be heartbroken. For a bit. Till he found chicken. Then he'd be kewl.

@ Akasha – The missing man that she had been looking for earlier just walks up to her out the blue. He looked just like the man that she was chasing earlier before in the alleys and streets before TDK had stepped in. The man looked like he had just been risen from the dead or something. He was all pale and needed to exfoliate and probably eat something with more vitamin C like citris fruits or maybe carrots with beta karitine. If she doesn’t look at him or he comes from a bad angle, he’d just tap her on the shoulder.

“Thank you for looking for me…”

Right then, the man’s friend walks up.

“Oh, you found my friend!”

He looks at his friend.

“Hey man, are you okay…? We’d better not drink that hard again!”

He looks back to Akasha.

“You went out of your way to help me… how can I repay you?”

Moving Forward: The Boss Meeting

Kia Rio finally appears in the ware house where the bosses are supposed to be at. He tells one of the guards to make sure they have everyone gathered who was supposed to be there or who’d just benefit from being there, etc. The guard runs out to spread the word. The room is more full than it was the last time now that ppl had time to get there and stuff. The meeting will be starting in about ten minutes.

Next Stage: Tournament Ground Preparations

The Tournament Grounds are on the west quarter of the town. There’s not as much traffic there. It’s still inside the town walls. It’s not on the outside or anything like that. There are fighting areas that are set up to give the combatants PLENTY of room to fight. Each area is about 500 ft x 500 ft.

Guard mages work on the tournament grounds and put up dual thick stripped shiny black magic lines to border the areas just to keep people out (it’s not really a physical barrier more like a visual barrier to mark battle zones). The areas are shaped like pentagons. Guard mages do not talk/respond to others while they do their work. They’re kind of like drones and just do their job.

The 5 tournament areas are pretty much the same. All areas are within a quarter mile of each other. Area 1 – the center of a park area with wild grasses, stone side walks/jogging paths and sparse trees bordering it. Area 2 – the top of a large cleared out parking deck to the side of the park. A block’s worth of elevated concrete and faded white line surrounded by a 4 foot high lip and iron wire fence. (the type to keep cars from rolling over the edge). Area 3 – medical plaza parking lot. A half block of parking spaces and grass islands bordered on one side by a main street and the other by a large 10 story X shaped structure that used to be a medical center. Shares the parking deck. Area 4 – Gymnasium. A large inside area with four opposing basketball hoops, hardwood floors and bleachers lining two opposing walls. Area 5 – Gymnasium Center parking lot. Asphalt grounds and nothing much else. Area 6 – Center of the Jogging course next to the Gym. Small set of bleachers on either side.

Only a few people are actually around the tournament areas aside from just the guard workers, etc.

It seemed as if things were finished at the booth, so Domen would return his attention back to his servants and priestess who had traveled with him. He would not sense the presence coming from behind him, so it wouldn’t be until she spoke that Domen would know of her existence. If she had approached him in any other manner, he may not have remembered her to be anyone of particular importance. It was the nickname that he had not heard in ages that caused for him to eventually remember the presence that went with the voice. He would not swiftly turn around when she spoke, but he would take a moment, the moment it takes to remember her, before turning his head to the side and then looking over his shoulder to the young lady that stood behind him. Though she had been the one to summon him from the void in which he existed before he reclaimed his physical form many years ago, her actions were within his will, the thing that steered the course of time and history. As such, he would only think of her as one cog in the wheel of his current story. “Hmm…” would come the hum that came to acknowledge her presence. He didn’t feel joy or annoyance at seeing her, just indifference. She did look a little different, but such things weren’t surprising in this world. Without directly addressing her, he would return his gaze forwards and continue walking back towards where those were whom he had previously left behind.

As things turned out, Jyn needn’t actually say anything to the vagrant that had come up and approached his woman. Still, Penny would have his attention for a moment. It didn’t seem like he were a spirit of any sort, since he wasn’t giving off the Oni waves in a manner that Jyn would be able to perceive, but still, he seemed creepy, which was demonic in itself. Though he may have been in the same room with Penny at some stage in his life in the past, Jyn would not put together the fact that this was Shiori’s gopher from before. They may or may not have had words with one another before, but Jyn would not readily recollect him as a person of importance and instead assumed that he was an acquaintance of Izumi’s from some time. Since he had not been able to see Penny when he had first awoken, he would not even remember the demon from that time, even though he had been in his direct presence fairly recently. Not the type to introduce himself to friends of his girlfriend, Jyn would not speak to the man and as such didn’t seem to be referenced directly himself. With that, Jyn would return his attention to Sanzon, so may or may not be finished speaking. The former commissioner didn’t feel right with the way the world was, but he also felt limited in what he could actually do as a normal human in this strange new world.

The search for a baker would be slightly distracted by the information given from the guard to Lightning. Battousai would overhear the discussion of the meeting among leaders, and as such would be interested in the contents of the meeting. He and Lightning both applied, as well as Yuki, whom he had lost contact with having left the previous meeting separate. When Lightning was ready to move on, Battousai would nod and simply begin walking towards the merchant area. In his glancing, he had found a location that looked as if it served sweets, which was odd given the current demographic of the town. The baker’s booth would basically be a metal four wheeled cart that would second as an oven. There were racks on racks on racks on the cart which were used to display the goods of the small shop. On approach, the smell of breads and confectionary treats would waft within and permeate the local proximity. The baker would be a Col. Armstrong look alike with rippling muscles under his baker’s apron. In seeing the treats on display, Battousai would look to Lightning and ask her to order for him since he didn’t know what to get. While she ordered, he would eye a booth filled with every variety of hog known to man ranging from bacon to ham hocks to a full cooked pig with an apple in its mouth. Battousai would order a slab of ham as well with a side of rooted vegetables to complete his oddly constructed breakfast. After his order, he would return his attention to Lightning, find a place at the entrance of an alleyway on two crates for them to sit, and he would proceed in the act of eating. It would be after he finished eating, that he would suggest that they head towards the meeting, unless Lightning had already suggested it before that time, in which he would simply eat and walk on the way there.

Akasha looked hard for this Onikonjou that the mysterious figure had told her about, but yet there was nothing. The thing was trully elusive indeed, but Akasha wasn't one to give up unless something else was to pull her attention, and so for nothing had done that so she would continue looking. While looking, it would appear that the fruits of her earlier efforts would come to bloom as she would feel a tap on her should which would pull her attention. She wasn't a fan of people addressing her from behind, and if she had been more tense, the guy would have been met with a swipe at neck level from her and it wouldn't have mattered if she had her weapon on or not. The view of the individual was slightly disturbing but she wouldn't have reacted in an negative way. She was a bit shocked though because the figure happened to be the guy that she was looking for before she started looking for the Elusive Onikonjou. He looked extremely Malnourished, almost like a corpse. She didn't know him, but she was pretty sure that he would have stood out in the tavern last night looking like this, though she wouldn't directly pry into his business...she would do it in an indirect manner. The winds of fate continued to blow in her way as her expression never wavered in the face of the challenges brought to her. The friend of the guy wanted to show his Gratitude to her, and she wasn't sure if he could do it, but the malnourished guy just might be able to." Well there is something...In the process of looking for your friend, I stumbled onto something else very strange that is just eluding me now. It's very strange, but I believe that this new thing Im looking for may have a connection to your friend here, and I must find this thing...have you encountered anything strange during your absence ? ". Akasha asked the Malnourished guy, not set to believe that he looked like this last night and that drinking caused this kind of drastic change over night. Her hands was in her pockets as she waited from a reply from the guy.

Having spent some time to gather the troops he had brought with him, Yuki hears that the meeting in the warehouse was getting ready to start so he decides it might be best if he heads to the meeting place as he had done before. After finding out about the meeting getting ready to start, Yuki turns to his troops and sends them to the tavern they had came to when first coming to Acura and wait for him there. Since the meeting that would be taking place was between village leaders and bosses, Yuki didn't see a need to bring along his troops to stand around while others talk. With his troops taken care of, Yuki sets out for the warehouse where the meeting will be taking place. Arriving at the warehouse, Yuki informs the guard of his stature and makes his way into the building. Upon entering Yuki glances around and finds that unlike before a larger number of people had already started to gather here for the meeting, which was a good sign, or at least the half-breed thought so. With the others in the warehouse as well, Yuki decides to settle in and wait for the meeting to start.

Who was this cat? It seemed we had a small gathering here of people who all knew each other. I, for one, would not give anyone else attention other than Domen and Jyn. The priestess I could remember, but the others were faded memories, remnants at best. I would pause my words to the former leader of the humans as he looked to be elsewhere. My attention would follow his as the newcomer (Penny) made contact with his female companion. I couldn’t tell what he was from looking at him, but something didn’t feel right. Maybe it was just me being more territorial than anything else, but I definitely felt a bit of hostility towards him. Shaking the thought from my mind, I’d send my gaze over to Domen to make sure he was okay. A demon of his size in the middle of a human settlement right before a campaign to go demon hunting had to be carefully managed, especially since his strength was far from what it used to be. That went for both of us, but I at least blended in here.
“anyway.. cutting it short, the humans need you. I know we didn’t always get along, but we really are on the same side this time. No crap, no under the table dealings, I just want things back the way they used to be, even if just a little bit.”

Hearing Sanzon’s words, Jyn wouldn’t comment right away, but he would give a nod and say, “I see.” He could understand how someone like Sanzon could get used to things like modern technology, but introducing such things into the population could both sky rocket the current human evolution as well as lead to great catastrophe if not handled correctly. It would definitely be something that Jyn would have to think about, since up to this point, he figured the best he could do would be to find a small place for him and Izumi to settle down at while living their lives through this day in age. What Sanzon wanted would require the same resources that were had when they had previously been living, or at least something similar to it. Some ideas were roaming through Jyn’s head about wanting to visit the Division HQ to see some things, but he would not give the Kami a definite right away.

As if on cue, the words, “Commissioner?” waft in the air from the side as Jyn turns to see a familiar figure. A large bald headed man in navy slacks and a gray tee shirt approaches explaining, “I didn’t know at first, but when I saw the spirit here with you, I knew something was up. Commissioner, I’m glad to see you’re alive!” Jyn would recognize his former teammate Tapp. He had always thought that if the world were to end, Tapp would be among the only ones to survive; it had been Michael who hadn’t made it at that somber time of the battle. A small but peacefully pleased smile actually comes to Jyn’s face as he reaches out and the two shake hands. “Tapp, it’s good to see you again…” he would admit. With a smile on his own face, he would say, “the world’s pretty fucked up.” He would also recognize those in attendance, looking to and greeting, “Mrs. Commissioner, priestesses and ex con” referring to Izumi, Kazakura, Seijin and Sanzon respectively.

After taking the time to eat, Battousai would begin in the direction where the guards pointed out that the meeting among bosses would be. If Lightning were with him, he would simply enjoy her presence at the time and continue with any type of conversation she may bring up in his normal manner. Before long and only after asking directions twice, Battousai would come upon the warehouse where the meeting was being held. Upon his arriving, he is introduced to two guards at the door who inquire where he from and such. He would explain in simple terms that he was the village leader and commander of Jun’Jo and that the lovely lady with him was a captain of the special forces. If Kautuka were to magically appear at this moment, it would be explained that he was with them as well as a military counselor or close equivalent. With that, they would be allowed entry and Battousai would walk into the room filled with others who were seemingly like him. He would notice the variety of people there, obviously from different locations in the world, visible by the means of dress, mannerisms, speech and hue. Seeing Yuki amongst the crowd, he would walk towards and stand aside the wolf, giving his attention to the person who seemed to be the leader of this organization that was being assembled.

“tapp…” I recognized the human easily. He had been one of the team that had escorted me several times when I was inside the city. I would give him a smile and shrug as he referred to me as “ex-con”, giving me a reason to acknowledge him. After all, it would be rude of me not to. I wondered why he called me that, and not just con? Had I been upgraded to some other level of criminal-ship that I had not previously been aware of? If that was the case, I would completely approve of it.
“Well, ex-commissioner.. looks like you aren’t alone anymore.”
I wondered if the other was going to enter the tournament. It didn’t really make sense now that he was here. I figured he would probably go back to following orders and running errands for the other human. Their social structure was a complicated one that had taken me a bit of time to understand, but it all made sense now. What didn’t make sense was that he survived it all, and made it here. I guess I hadn’t given him enough credit when it came to survival training. I guess his Division really didn’t spare any expense when it came to properly training their employees. I bet the benefits were great as well. Hope they didn’t invest too much in it though, that would have been a waste now that the world had ended.

Akasha wondered if these individuals would actually be able to help her in what she was trying to do. At this point, everything became connected with each other, as getting this information would possibly assist in finding the elusive Onikonjou, which would bring about a success that would be counted towards the many small things that would have to be done in order to obtain what she really wanted, so she would be persistent if they appear to be lying about it. Of course she wouldn't think that they would lie because as they mentioned, she assisted in their little issue, so some appreciation was to be shown. Akasha wasn't interesting in anything else besides the Information, and the Tournament itself which at the time was being prepared. She should have enough time to handle this for TDK before the tournament start, but just to avoid taking any chances with being late. Her hands went into her pocket, as she then felt on the band that she had placed in there. She had not yet placed the Tournament band on for some reason, maybe because she didn't want people knowing she was a contestant yet, at least not people that she hadn't told that she would be competing.

@ Boss Meeting - The boss meeting gets started. Kia Rio moves around to the front of everyone and holds up his hand. He doesn’t look aggressive or anything, but he just kind of waits patiently for people to give him attention. After the people calmed down and got quiet and stuff, he’d start speaking.

“Welcome Leaders of Men. I want to personally welcome all of you to Acura and thank you for coming to support our cause. Fliers and gossip have brought you here. My mission is not to lead you others into the core. It’s to work with you and help facilitate and organize an effort to reclaim the ancestral land that should belong to us while the time is right. I do not think of myself as a leader, only a servant to you all. Most of you here have brought your own warriors. I wish you luck in your part of this push. I’m sure you all have different ways of leading your people but I hope we can all work together. I want to spend this time as a strategy session. We can assume our numbers will be however many people you’ve brought as well as the 50 who are originally here.”

He looks at one of his guard mages cloaked in black and motions for him to do something. The guard mage walks up and creates a flat “holographic” energy image by holding out his hands. He creates the village and several large armies like army men on the board. The armies there are represented on the board. Kia keeps talking.

“As you see, we’re east of the core right now. This is what we have so far. Please share your thoughts on strategy in an organized manner.”

(Whoever wants to speak up first can. If no one wants to speak up, I’ll have someone from the Sun Clan or The Desert Scorpion start off.)

@ Akasha – The man thinks.

“My memory is hazy… I remember leaving the tavern… I was very drunk. I went into an alley to get to the Inn and that’s when I saw hundreds of black crows flying around me. Everything went black. When I woke up, it was morning and I was drawn to you. I just remember black crows with red eyes… and a husky whisper that said ‘darkness.’”

Ooc: B/c no one posted, I won’t waste my time putting my post in narrative form after this. If there's no interaction in the bosses meeting, I'll just summarize the plan and move to the tourney.

@ Bosses Meeting – The Desert Scorpion speaks up first.

“We’re east of the enemy strong hold. I say we move west. Strike at their heart then we can cripple them the most. We have at least 5 armies. I say we move to the center as a single force and from there split into a star formation and strike out in all directions! This will break up and scatter the demons living in the core. This will take away their foothold in this land. It will be our victory easily.”

There’s 4 main ppl there from the Okoku (alliance of the Sun, Moon and Earth Clan). Taurush of the Moon Clan speaks up for them.

“That plan would have us start off surrounded by the enemy. If it success, it could push demons out of the land into the settlements on the outskirts of the core. We should minimize civilian danger.”

The Desert Scorpion looks at him.

“Then we crush the demons before they can flee. If a few escape, it’s not my concern if the villages outside of the core can’t handle them. I am here to claim land in the core. That’s our purpose, right…?”

The Okoku don’t like that answer.

Eating
At the baker booth run by the big muscular man, Light runes her finger through her pink hair to tuck it behind her ear as she looks over the selection to choose from. Picking out a creamed filled muffin covered in chocolate with a strawberry on the top. She holds onto Keirosuki's while he is getting his meat and potatoes. It would seem that the two finds a quite spot to set in an alleyway on two crates. As normal little is said between the two while eating. Although Light does give him a mischievous grin after she steals a few of his roots from his plate.

The Meeting
Eating was done and Light joins Keirosuki in the bosses meeting as she was interested in seeing what type of person was the leader of this village. She takes the time heading to meeting talking about how to secure the area around Jun'Jo, and doesn't seem to notice that he got lost twice on the way. Keirosuki gets us by the guards checking people as they go into the old building. The blue eyes of the pink haired woman looks around at number of leaders that had gather here for this event that is to take place as she walks through the crowd. Standing next to Keirosuki while she watches the man holding up his hand try to get everyone attention. The man doesn't look like much of a leader but he even declares as much in his little speech. The mage makes the holographic image of the village and several large armies. Not one to say anything right away, Light looks at image of what she guess is the enemies front line as the man doesn't explain anything about it and just asked for our thoughts on strategy.

And then the discussion starts between the two big men. Light's arms come to fold down around her waist before she speaks, "The Desert King is right, but only two of the mean forces should charge the center while two other forces move in from the North and South flanks. The remaining forces will sit up an ambush in the West. The three attacking forces will push the enemy into the ambush and cut off their way to escape. I think this would be the best strategy to take as it will let everyone do what they are good at."

After coming to stand beside Yuki, Battousai’s attention would be on the meeting’s facilitator as the meeting begins. The map seemed very useful as setting the stage for discussion and as such, it would have Battousai’s attention as the two unaffiliated parties seemed to speak their ideas. The sense behind the first plan is that it would reduce the variables of getting into position. It seemed like it would be a challenge to move freely in the core or the area around it, without coming across encounters that would be a hindrance to a plan if one army was dependant on the movement of another. Battousai not at all surprised when Lightning speaks, as he was used to her having a bold personality. He listens to her plan, and it seems to be a good one if they had control over the field of battle or a good understanding of the city’s make up. They would be moving through unfamiliar territory with only a map to give them an idea of what the terrain would be like. The enemy would have the advantage in tracking the movements of the resistance and could ambush any one army at any time.

Battousai would think back on his experience with The Dark King and come to a realization which would prompt him to speak, “I am Battousai of the village of Jun’Jo. I believe in understanding the situation fully before taking action. During the time where a great black mist covered the skies northwest of the core and threatened to continue to spread west, my companion Yuki of Theden, and I, battled against one believed to be The Dark King… the one who is said to rule the area we are infiltrating and the demons that inhabit it... At that time, the one I faced had the ability to monitor our movements remotely, lift a magical fog that threw off the senses of many warriors, leaving them dazed in an inescapable fog and could also conjure countless shadow demons to fight in his stead. In my opinion, he is more of a tactician than a warrior. For this battle, we will need more than just a map… your scouts should have told you where pockets of demons frequent or which routes are safest to travel, so that will need to be added to the map as well.”

There would only be a slight pause before he continues, “…In that time that we faced him, a group was called together to battle against a foreign evil, just like it has been now... The leader of the resistance movement that day was the enemy… leading us into a trap… making us pawns in The Dark King’s hand for whatever purpose. I do not mean to accuse you, Kia Rio, but I find it suspicious that the village is as secure as it is. Since you are no leader, we need not be babysat and there is no further need for you to be here. Respectfully, you have done well to bring us together, but please allow us to come up with a strategy on our own without the monitoring of you or your guards.” The request would be mostly to gauge Kia Rio’s reaction to his request.

As the male they had come to listen to in this meeting speaks of his plan of action, Yuki listens to the plan while remaining in silence. When another speaks up, Yuki glances to the individual for brief moment and listens as he begins to speak. While listening to the talking, Yuki dwells upon what they wish to do in the core. When his sister spoke up, Yuki realized he didn't see her come in, though his sensei had come to stand next to him. While his sister puts her ideas on the table about there attack plan, Yuki listens to her as she puts forth the idea of ambushing the enemy and preventing there escape, something that sounded like a good idea. As his sister finishes speaking Yuki turns his gaze from her and glances towards the male that had called or the meeting. When his sensei begins to speak, Yuki doesn't glance to him but still listens as his sensei introduces himself before beginning to speak his mind upon the matter. Instead of putting forth some sort of battle plan for there attack, his sensei brings up another good point about the enemy that they may be facing. The half-breed is a but surprised as he is brought up by his sensei, though he gives a simple nod as his sensei continues to speak. After providing his own form of advice for the plan, Yuki listens as his sensei shifts gears and brings up the fact that the last time they fought against a great evil the one leading them turned out to be the leader of the great evil. With bringing this up, Yuki listens as his sensei points out how safe the village is given its proximity to the core, which did seem rather odd given the nature of the core. When his sensei finished speaking, Yuki gives a faint nod to what his sensei had said, " I agree with Battousai. " Yuki says, glancing to his sensei for a brief moment before turning his attention to Kai Rio, " It would be wise to assume that there are spy's in our midst at all times and that no plan we make while in the company of those we do not truly know is safe. "

Akasha had very little to go on...actually close to nothing. What she had to go on wasn't a place within Acura, but birds within Acura. Black crows with black eyes. She couldn't do anything to force him to remember so she would have to sigh and just accept that. Maybe while looking she would have the luck of stumbling upon said crows that the individual had saw. She would look to the guy as he then tosses her something of value, something that showed their appreciation for her assistance with them considering that no one in this entire village was willing to assist, which was funny...in the heart of a human populated place, the being that assist is an Onikonjou. She would nod her head slightly and then begin to motion away." Alright then, you two take care and don't get as hammered ". Akasha said as she turned around and walked away at a faster pace, almost like power walking. Her eyes looked at the valueable and thought to herself. ' Crows with red eyes...that's not normal...then again nothing about this is normal '.

It had taken her a moment to realize who he was talking about and a nervous smile crawled upon her face as she scratched at her cheek. "Well I did see her, but that was more in the area of the ruins of northern heights." This demon was certainly and odd one, but she found him funny in an odd sense and smiled pleasantly as she did take notice that her drink counter had went up. At least she knew one more thing about this one and that it was his persistence. She remembered as well various other things about him as she gave him a hug. "It's great see you alive and kicking though, do be careful wouldn't want you being harmed now." after that she released him from the hug and looked to seeing that Tapp was still alive. Her eyes had widened as she had jumped on him and hugged him tightly. "Tapp!! Oh grace the watchers! You're still alive." she was rather happy to see another familiar face. She would giggle and pull away and held a huge smile as she looked toward's Jyn. Clearly she was happy to see friendly faces.

Well uh this was an awkward moment. Here was Penny trapped in the embrace of a large breasted woman in tight clothing. His eyes moved over to the commissioner. Her boyfriend. The dude who back in the day wouldn’t have hesitated to put a bullet between his eyes if he ever knew just what he was. Penny was back in action and feeling fine and dandy. Had to get that one out of his system. Was totally unhealthy for you if you kept that one all built up. Back logs and shit. And whilst he was sure that he could probably find her if he tried. For the moment what he could do for her here exceeded what he could do for her well. In the northern heights. Thee Dark king had promised to help him and so he was going to help the Dark King. Most of the “bosses” were now at the meeting, a meeting which he could pretty much imagine was gonna involve how they were gonna work the attack.

Pennywise had a feeling though that it wasn’t even going to get to the stage of attacking. So listening in wasn’t going to be much of a bother. So he approached the sign up for the tournament. He wasn’t planning to join per say. But would certainly put that act on. He needed to scout out just who was joining this thing so that he could help sabotage it.So he approached the dude who had been taking the names.

“ Hey, you the guy I talk to about the tournament? Mind if I see the list? Guys gotta know what he’s up against right?”

The request was reasonable in itself. No real reason to keep the list of names secret. Well. That they knew of anyways.

@ Bosses Meeting – The leaders give their attention to Lightning. The Desert Scorpion is pleased that Lightning agrees with him. Then Battousai and Yuki speak.

Kia Rio raises an eyebrow, but he’s calm. He looks around the room. All eyes are on him. It didn’t look like anyone was going to reject the idea. It looked like some people were getting suspicious.

“Of course… I don’t mean to make anyone uncomfortable. I will go to look over how the tournament is coming along. I am supplying 50 troops for your use, so I’ll need to know enough to protect us as a village. I wish you luck in your strategy session. Hopefully after we retake the core I will have earned all of your trust. You can choose to allow the guard generating the map to stay or leave, it’s up to you. He knows everything the scouts know about the terrain.”

Kia Rio leaves the room with the other guards. Now anyone who walks up can get into the warehouse unless someone inside stops them.

A cloaked Gestalt member speaks.

“Battousai. I remember hearing about the event of which you speak. How is it that you and your friend fought with The Dark King and survived? They say that most of the men who were there were slaughtered or ended up going mad?”

@ Akasha – While the friend was talking about the friend that was missing, or sometime in there, somebody said something about the alley where he vanished. Something tells Akasha to check out that place for clues if she’s still trying to get to the bottom of this.

@ Penny – After he’s done jacking off, he gets a small mental suggestion that TDK had something to do with his meeting and finding out info about Shiori. The guard doesn’t give him the list but he lets him look over his shoulder.

Akasha would begin to think about it, the only place that was associated with the Individual...the alley way that she had followed him into before. She thought that maybe that the thing before was just an individual trying to get her attention, but maybe it was that secretive individual trying to lead her to finding the Onikonjou. There was no way to tell for sure, but it was the only thing that should could think of since she had no other leads besides the thing about birds with red eyes. Maybe she had missed something on her first time around, though that would have been understandable too since there were things there that had her attention like the dark figure before her or the darkness that had shrouded her at the time. Something in her heart was telling her to check the place again, and so Akasha would act on that, walking back away from the Tavern. It would appear as if she was simply strolling the City, not with any destination in mind...just aimlessly walking. The winds blew through her hair as she then felt confidence that she must have missed something there in that alley way, almost 100% sure that she did. It was with that confidence that the Onikonjou began to pick up a little speed, making her way through the first Alley, making a right turn once exiting that one and then making a left to enter the one that she had encountered The Dark King. The wind blew her hair back in a elegant fashion which almost appeared as if some kind of force acting against her, but like with everything in life, Akasha stood strong and pushed forwards.

The mannerisms and gestures of Kia R. would be watched as the question is posed with Yuki’s cosign. As things turned out, it didn’t seem like it would be a big issue, though it did raise the question to whether or not the one with the map were to leave. Perhaps haven spoken rashly, Battousai had overlooked the simple fact that Kia R. and his men held the advantage of knowing this area and the mission in greater detail than anyone here; it would almost be as if they had to work from scratch if it weren’t for him. Still, the samurai felt it was a necessary action to take to determine whether or not he could be trusted.

After the orchestrator leaves the room and the guard mage remains, Battouasi would motion for the guard mage to stay where he was. They could simply speak and get a good lay of the land before they would actually get to the part which would be a spoiler for The Dark King, though Battousai knew that simply having Ria and the guards leave the room wouldn’t be justification to assume that they weren’t being remotely monitored somehow. Such things were out of their range of control. When the question comes in, Battousai would answer calmly, “we were not his primary objective. I believe after getting what he was looking for, he left. I am still unsure of what he was looking for, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it were something similar to the relic that was transported near Mare Maris.” Before going to deeply into that bag of worms, Battousai would continue, “if we were to look into using Lightning’s plan, we would face the difficulty of reaching the staging areas for the attacks to occur. Though I don’t remember the demons with The Dark King as having the ability to fly, we shouldn’t rule out that they could just take to the skies…”

Looking towards Sanzon with his comment, Jyn would nod and speak, “perhaps so…” Turning, he would see the friend hug given to Penny as well as the look that’s given to him. Penny wouldn’t gain any look in particular other than a empty glance to assure his hands stay to themselves. Jyn got the impression that he should know Penny, but continued to draw blanks. He wouldn't get the reference to Shiori, though the 'bitch' description might be accurate. Tapp would find himself glomped by Izumi and would return the hug in a friendly manner. “It’s good to be alive, too,” he would admit in chuckling to her. Motioning to Jyn, he would comment in a teasing manner, “I hope you’ve been keeping this guy in line?” While this was going on, Jyn would over hear the guards speaking about some type of meeting among bosses as well as the directions of the area as another person near the registration booths would be pointed in that direction. Looking to Sanzon to see if perhaps he had overheard it too, Jyn would comment “I would be very interested in joining that meeting.” Looking to Tapp and Izumi, Jyn would comment, “we can probably all get acquainted, walk and talk…” With that, he would make sure Izumi was fine with it, or would allow her to stay there with her priestess friends as he would make his way towards the area that held the meeting of bosses.

With the words from the human, I would swing my attention to what I had also overheard. A meeting of the current bosses was occurring somewhere. Not only would this be an opportunity to gauge the level of the current leadership of this world, but also to find out what tactical planning this little campaign was currently going to have. Much like the former commissioner, tactics for combat were something I was well versed in from the times I had served in the heavens. While we had no formal military, we did protect our borders against the demonic hordes which sought to ruin our pristine world.
“I agree. For the most part we are already acquainted, shall we take a walk?”
If there were humans from this new realm leading, then the intelligence we had on the city could be a vital asset to any offensive campaign they were planning. It would be absolutely absurd for us to not attend part of it. The other part of my concern was the lack of aerial support the humans had, figuring their lack of flight. It would be difficult to figure out how things had changed without that. I still had my reservations about that, but it would be put in the back of my mind as I glanced over to Domen, and motioned for him to follow us. He was a previous commander as well, and I knew he could be a big help here as well.

She would make her way into the alley way, though she would bring herself to a stop right at the entrance as she looked at the area inside from there. Her head motioned around slightly starting with the ground itself, and then moving to the walls that surrounded it. She tried to find what she was looking for but couldn't. Her eyes would bring itself up towards the center of the place, the natural darkness that encased the back of it. Her mind told her that maybe she would be able to find what she is looking for further back into the alley, though within her heart she knew what to find in the back of the alley...Raiki. By Finding this Elusive Onikonjou for TDK and doing other missions, She would come ever so close to reaching Raiki. She was willing to move through any darkness before her to reach him, knowing that if the situation was reversed then he would do the same for her. She could picture Raiki's face so much within the darkness, a face she would never forget as long as she lived. Akasha took one step forward, and then took another step further in to face the darkness in order to find a clue about this elusive Onikonjou. There was a stern look on her face. Two steps would then turn into a few more steps until she was able to get a view of the stuff in the dark.

@ Akasha – When she gets into the alley and in view of the darkness she’d be able to notice a large amount of crow feathers that weren’t there before. TDK’s symbol glows on her fist. The crow feathers look like they’re made of mist. She’s given the ability to concentrate on them and TDK’s symbol pulses like sonar depending on how close or far she is from the Oni’s trail. It’s telling her to head south west (near the southern wall, see map).

@ Bosses Meeting – The gestalt members eye Battousai suspiciously. He knew about the relic. The map mage creates points on the map.

“These are the largest areas of activity. There are paved roads that are set up in rectangles. I’m lightning up the best route for a flank. Most of the roads are clear with buildings on both sides to them. The core is about 3 miles in diameter. If you travel a mile in you’ll be in the danger zone. This map and demon activity might change by the time it’s time to attack. Observe the map as you wish. Let me know if there’s anything that needs to be added.”

The Desert Scorpion speaks.

“If we count on having five armies, one can attack the core directly. Two can travel the core’s border north and south. An additional army can travel with one of the flanks and continue to a staging point in the west…”

As the areas on the map are illuminated, Battousai would give his attention to the new additions on the map. He would remain silent as The Desert Scorpion speaks, thinking on his words before making any of his own. He would make the request of the map mage to leave the current map and leave the room if possible. It seemed to make sense, since Kia Rio had already made his way out. When it was just the leaders he would continue. “There’s no guarantee…” he would begin, “that the spirits of the core will act as anticipated. Over the course of the time between now and the time for the raid, we can observe the movements of the spirits, but it will only allow us to estimate their movements. Such a thing may be dangerous if we come across an unanticipated situation.” Since it was The Dark King they were talking about, he knew that he would have to expect the unexpected. He surmises, “the best way to anticipate the enemies movements will be to force their movements; that would give us some kind of control... I think that it would work best if there were a distraction at the core’s center. That way it could draw the attention of the core to a centralized location. The larger the distraction, the more effective I believe it will be. For this plan, I will act as a decoy and land in the middle of the core. From there, I can initiate an attack and battle defensively the armies are in place. All I’ll have to do is survive.” Though it seemed like something only an idiot would propose, Battousai felt that he could at least survive for thirty minutes in the midst of a fray; when he had fought against the minions of the Dark King before, they weren’t necessarily strong, just plentiful in numbers.

The crawling that that maybe it was the dark king guiding those people just hit in there. Was possible. After all how long had it been since he’d had any word about his boss and now here it was the moment he made the deal. Seemed that the Dark King was living up to his part of the deal so Penny would now go about making up his own end. Penny wasn’t really strong enough to consider himself to be any success fighting in a tournament. So he was going to go about this the sneaky bastard way. The way Penny figured it, people who were going to be fighting in this tournament would be exhausting themselves by fighting and everyone needed water. Particularly the fights. He let outa fiendish grin as he moved to hatch his plans. He had a mental list of the names thanks to peeking over the shoulder of the guard, whilst that would help with individual sabotage he was going to cover it on a grander scale at the moment.

Unfortunately Penny didn’t have any poison on him. Nor did he think it was a particularly good idea to go about asking if anyone was selling any. So pulling out ye olde hobo cloak and robe from back when he had caused the trouble in that city. Penny stuck it on in an alleyway and headed his ass over to the local merchants. He couldn’t really ask for anything that would poison people. The dark king hadn’t specifically stated he wanted people dead, just tired out. So he was going to find something that was going to make it difficult for people to fight. Approaching what looked to be some kind of herbalist/apocrathy store. Penny coughed and approached the lady, keeping the hood up to cover his features.

” Yo this is a little bit embarrassing but, I’ve got this problem”.

He acted all embarrassed as if it were the truth. ” I’m quite clogged up, you got anything that’ll clear up constipation?...I’m talking like hard core tearing up my ass constipation….anything that’ll induce the shits, I’m desperate” . Plan was simple enough. Grab inducer. Poison tournament water supply. Watch as fighters shit themselves in public. All in all. Great time.

The Onikonjou would take a few more steps before her body came to a complete stop. Her eyes was widened from shock at what she saw, almost similar to a person who just caught sight of a corpse. She knew for a fact that this wasn't here before, and it wasn't too long ago that she was there. Akasha saw a bunch of Crow feathers, which connected with the words of the guy, having seen crows with red eyes. She was clear on the trail and knew that she had to act fast in order to find this Onikonjou. She looked around to see if the feathers led somewhere, but they didn't and as she released a sigh, the symbol on her hand, the proof of her contract with TDK began to pulse which would pull her attention to it. She knew now that it had to be linked with what has happened to her so far, though she couldn't figure out why it was pulsing." What in the...". The Oni then looks to the feathers again as she then gets an odd feeling from both that and the Symbol, almost as if it was telling her to go in a specific direction, almost as if it was trying to guide her. Akasha thought again about what was at risk...not finding this Onikonjou could mean losing her chances at gaining Raiki back, and so she would go with the feeling, making her way in a full rush out of the alley and down the street.

Soon after that Asei had suggested for them to get moving from where they were to get to this meeting of bosses. Well it was something to do and the priestess seemed like she was busy with the other priestess so she would talk to them another time. "very well lead on." She would follow after Asei as she looked over at Tapp. "so where have you been all this time?" she was rather curious about where he'd been at and what had happened to him since the respawning in this new time.

So to kind of wrap things up here: The bosses of the meeting think about Battousai’s idea and Lightning’s plan. They figure they should prolly give it a lil thought and since they had all week to talk about it, they were good at the moment. This meeting did its goal. It brought them all together. Now that they knew who each other were, they’d be able to strategize outside of this room. So, one of the forest clan guys makes the suggestion to meet in this warehouse every night. During the day, they could do their own scouting and talking with their troops and things, but it’d take more than just one meeting to get everything together that’d have to be got together. They’d have to kno everyone’s abilities, the numbers of their armies, etc. So, this meeting adjourns for now. They’d pick things back up later, but for now… tourney time!

So the tournament grounds are basically done and set up. The main areas are ready for battle and the guards go around telling ppl that they’d be starting up soon. People are given about an hour to meet up in the main area where they’d be able to hear who’s in the starting fights, etc. The area in front of the tavern is gonna be the main hub for all of the tourney information. The guard mage at the booth create like a scoreboard of the tournament participants that’s not filled up with information yet, but eventually will be. Buzz picks up about the tournament starting.

@ Penny – The herbalist looks at Penny. He tilts his head to the side. He thinks for a moment. He smiles.

“I GOT you! Don’t even worry!”

He motions to his tent.

“Everything we need is this way. Just follow me.”

Yeah, there was a small tent behind his booth set up. He walks into it and tells Penny to come in and close the flap behind him.

Given that he was not to knowledged in the area of tactics and strategies, Yuki chooses to fall back into the realm of silence while his sensei and the others speak of plans. Having chosen to remain silent Yuki listens and dwells up what is being spoken of. Yuki listens to his sensei as he speaks of his idea and when his sensei brings up a part of his plan that involves him acting as the bait, the half-breed shifts his attention to look to his sensei for a moment. The idea of having his sensei and friend act as a decoy was a bit surprising to the half-breed. With his sensei setting himself up to the decoy of the plan, Yuki finally speaks up, " I have no doubt in your capabilities sensei but perhaps it would be wise for more then one to go and act as a decoy. " Yuki begins as he looks at his sensei, " I could accompany you to the core and aid in the task. Since I was there when we first encountered The Dark King, perhaps my presence could aid in the distraction. " Yuki puts forth, offering to help instead of going against the idea of a decoy.

Akasha continued moving at her max speed, not stopping for anyone, moving through crowds almost like a football play, manuavering as to not even touch them so she couldn't be slowed down at all. Some people saw her and turned their attention to her for a second before continuing about their own business. She rushed with all of her might, and the close she got, the faster and stronger the pulses from the Sygil came in. She now became confident that the sygil was resonating with something, possibly the Onikonjou. Her mind temporarily left the idea of the tournament due to the overall goal she was trying to reach but it would soon be brought back to her attention. She quite close to the southern wall, in fact she could see it, which made her think that she was being led outside of the village. She wasn't sure on that, but it was a possibility that came across her mind so she had to be open. Being an Onikonjou, she had stamina to spare, to move twice as fast as a human and not be exhausted after running at max speed for a while. When she came to the area of the wall, one of the guards would announce something that was passed on to them not too long ago." ATTENTION EVERYONE! THE TOURNAMENT IS STARTING NOW! PLEASE REPORT TO THE MAIN GROUNDS AS THE PAIRINGS OF OPPONENTS ARE ABOUT TO HAPPEN IN AN HOUR!!". He would repeat that same thing a few times which would catch Akasha's attention in an instant while at the wall." What!? It's starting!? ". She clenched her fist at the thought of it, though she was hoping to find the Onikonjou first before it began. There was a chance that she would miss who she was paired with, but maybe it was okay. She wasn't going to miss the tourney though, in fact she set it in herself to ditch the search effort temporarily if she didn't find the Onikonjou within the hour because she was willing to miss the pairings, but not partaking in the fights. Being near the southern wall, the sygil will respond stronger and faster than before, making her believe that was she was looking for was very close if not there.

So, the Herbalist was totally cooperating. Excellent. So Penny went in the tent and closed the flap behind him. The moment he did so though a thought flashed through his head. Ass rape. His face went slightly pale for a moment, his eyes shifted towards where the herbalist was standing. Was gonna need to keep his guard up on this one. Was he fuck getting raped in the ass by some human attempting to dislodge his blockage with a little mario brothers style plumbing. He turned and placed both hands behind his back. " Good to hear, just so you know I'm really looking for a powder..maybe a liquid...nothing that has to be er...rectally inserted". He wasn't even sure if people in this time had anything in that kind of form. But then fuck knows it was a good enough metaphor for saying. " I don't want to be buttfucked pal".

Still this had to go quickly, no doubt the tournement would be starting soon, and he'd have to poison their supplies of water relatively quickly. But such a job neded to be done with precision too if he didn't want to get caught. Thoughts of Shiori, of how the dark king would help him t help her. Thats all that really mattered at this point. With that Pennywise moved into the back with the herbalist. Ready to kill the human if the need arised and just scour this tent for what he required.

SIC: Reassertion of Manifest Destiny (Prologue, Pt. 1)

Light's blue orbs shift to Keirosuki as he tells the room about his encounter with the Dark King. How similar the events are taking place is rather interesting, and brings up more questions about why the leader of this village wants us to waste time and energy with a foolish tournament. They should all be out scouting the area, not hanging around the tavern getting drunk and fighting each other. A sigh comes from her lips after Yuki seems to feel the need to speak up and say something foolish. He is in a room full of unknowns brings up the trusting each other thing. Sure some of the people have a rep, good or bad, but did any of these groups of people have a trusting relationship.

Kia Rio seems ok with leaving the meeting up to those that calm to be leaders of their people. A cloaked fool questions a warriors ability to live through a fight based on hearsay. If he had heard about the event then it was clear that not everyone was killed or to crazy to talk of what had happen. Keirosuki takes the time to explain himself to the clocked form that's eye was about to cause an early death.

Some ideas are thrown around till the end of the meeting comes to pass. Light gives the two men next to her a cold look. The crimson cape fly up as she quickly turns to leave the meeting without saying anything to either of them.

When Yuki spoke up, Battousai would nod and comment, “it may cause a larger distraction, but it’s easier for me to move when I’m alone…” Not discounting Yuki’s addition, he would add, “but we have a week to think on things, so you and I can talk.” If possible, he didn’t want any of his people being too deep in harm’s way, nor did he want a liability in the case that he had to make a full out retreat.

Things seemed to wrap up well enough. Battousai, Kautuka and crew would know who to have conversations with in order to progress things as the week went on and they would be meeting regularly until the time came to attack. The samurai knew that he had to perform scouting of his own in order to have the most reliable information up to date, but he figured between Kautuka, Mirage, himself and perhaps Jayde, that they should have a good amount of information on the lay of the land by the time it came to strike.

Word came into the room about the tournament starting, and as things would work out, Lightning would leave first, seemingly eager to move quickly. Looking to Yuki, Battousai would speak, “the time to fight has come quickly…” With that, he would move with Yuki, if he were to follow, towards the room’s exit with the others who were leaving, in order to head to the tavern’s front area where it seemed like the action would be centralized. There was still the hope that they would not be paired together in battle, but with the number of people possibly joining, it seemed that shouldn’t be that big of an issue.

Having eaten breakfast and walked around to see the sights, Takeo would be in the area in front of the tavern where the merchants and sign ups seemed to be. His arms would be folded in his kimono as he walked casually, looking for sign of his lord and cohorts. As Battousai comes into the area, Takeo would see him and approach, catching back up with the group. With a glance to the virtual magic big screen, Battousai would be interested in what type of environments would be set up for the fights. Since he hadn’t ventured to the areas where the mages were preparing the stages, he would simply have to find out about them along with the others in this area.

Jyn wouldn’t mind that Sanzon would be accompanying them for the walk. Though he was a spirit, Jyn knew the benefits that came with the powers that Sanzon assumedly had, regained, or could possibly have. At the moment, Jyn seemed to understand Sanzon’s intentions, for the suspicions of the Kami would be at a current low.

A chuckle and a grin come with the ‘of course’ as Izumi has Tapp’s attention for the most part. ‘That guy…’ would be the only response, in reference to the ‘bosses’ ability to get into troublesome situations in the past. With the announcement comes to move, Tapp would respond much like he normally would if no time had passed between the two of them. Not only did he see Jyn in basically the same type of capacity, but he was excited to finally be among people he knew. He wouldn’t be giving up this kinship to continue to be alone in wandering the new world.

As they walked, Tapp would response, “you know, it’s been crazy. I woke up in a field somewhere and I’ve just been walking around this whole time. These people are a lot different then what I’m used to. It took me a couple days to just get oriented and situated to what was going on. I still don’t know everything, but I got the gist that we’re probably not even in the same time line that we used to be. It’s almost like that time we were trapped in the past realm… I just hope there’s some way to go home.” This would show Tapp’s interpretation of what had happened, with him having some expectation that the former world that they came from still existed somehow.

On approaching the area were the bosses meeting would be held, Jyn would witness several people leaving with the announcement of the tournament starting. As things would appear, they had missed the meeting. “Well, that’s unfortunate…” he would comment, partially to Sanzon as he saw the people who were leaving the area. He didn’t see someone who looked like they were in charge over all, but he did see a few people who seemed as if they were VIPs. Looking to Sanzon, Jyn would ask, “…and when is this attack to reclaim Metro supposed to take place?”

What a shame this was. It seemed we had missed the meeting, and an opportunity to assist with the human’s campaign. Shaking my head at the dispersment of other individuals, I wondered if each of them were capable of leading, how much experience they had, and whether they could hold their own in combat. A deep sigh would come from my lips as I noticed a rather cute lady. I would have to introduce myself to her later, and maybe buy her a drink or something. That would have to wait though, as the sound for the tournament was being spread. Hearing the commissioner speak my way about the campaign, I would think about it for a minute. From what I had heard about the tournament, it was meant to have something to do with that.. so it made sense that it would be after the tournament.
“I believe it is after the tournament. It makes sense that it would attract strong fighters that could assist in their campaign. We should make our way back to the tavern and see what the groups are looking like. That seems like the best place to get a full understanding of the immediate future.”
I was unsure of whether or not all that I had heard was true, so the most effective way to determine that was by going to the source. With a group this size, assuming Domen would continue to follow, we should be fine to move through the people here without trouble. I just hoped that no one would figure out that we had a large demonic warlord strolling through town with us.

As his sensei begins to speak up in response to his idea of joining him, Yuki listens to what he has to say about the idea and once his sensei had spoke, Yuki gave a faint nod, " Alright. " he answered, ending the topic for the time being since other things needed to be tended too.

With the meeting having come to an end and word of the tournament starting, the half-breed knew that it was time to move on. Once his sensei spoke again, Yuki again nods his head and begins to move along with his sensei. Following after his sensei, Yuki glances around for a brief moment before setting his gaze ahead of them as he shifts his train of thought to the tournament that was to start. Moving with his sensei, Yuki recalls what they had spoken about should he or his allies be pitted against each other in the tournament and what they should do. Shaking his head faintly, Yuki glances to his sensei for a moment before setting his gaze back ahead of them, " Good luck in the tournament sensei. Perhaps we can all come out with one of these armies to control. "

“Welcome warriors near and far to the Tournament of Hope. Let’s take this time to engage in friendly combat before going to vanquish our foes. I would like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for coming to this village and showing your support, from the warriors, to the merchants, to the scouts. Together, we can make a difference in this world. But enough of that, I’m sure everyone is ready for the tournament to begin. Now I will go over a few things. There are 5 main tournament areas where we will do battle. You will be paired up to battle one on one. There are no rules in battle, use all of your strength to take out your opponent. Do not worry about holding back in this tournament. Each tournament participant is given a black band. This is not to be stylish. These bands will prevent a tournament member from dying when they can no longer fight. It will also boost healing after the battle is done. I want to make sure everyone is protected, but still use caution in your fighting. You will only be protected when you are not able to go on. Single elimination, the winner moves on while the defeated bows out. Now go forth warriors and battle until your hearts are content. ”

His image goes away and the first 5 matches are set up. The names show up under the tournament area on the board. Guards are there to help if they need to (none of the names are site members or notable people yet).

Mystic merchants set up tail gating areas with food merchants using remote monitoring spells on their own “vision spheres” or “screens” with beer, food and sometimes woman (boo yeah). Some people start heading to the match areas and other ppl start getting comfy in the tavern area. The warriors on the screen get 10 mins to get to the rings (w/a countdown on the clocks). The fighting is about to start.

@ Akasha – The sigil makes a strange noise. It’s like the source was running away from her rapidly. The trail leads outside of the village walls. She could follow, or go back and try again later. If she followed, then she would catch up to a place where the pulse would go very quickly in the middle of a run down area inside a broken building missing its roof and two of its walls surrounded by mountains of urban rubble.

@ Penny – The herbalist finds a pair of rubber gloves in his drawers.

“Don’t be silly. The best way to deal with a problem is to go right to the source.”

He pulls out drawers with instruments. He picks up a bottle and a piece of cloth. He stops and looks at Penny like he just got what he was saying.

“Oh! You want something like a powder.”

He points behind Penny.

“Just look in that chest by the wall.”

With the answer that came in, Jyn would nod and wonder if this tournament would just be a daylong thing, or longer than that. In either case, he figured that the people here wouldn’t just charge off into battle right after having a tournament, so it would make sense that there would be some rest time between it and the push for the Metro. He would give a rough self estimate that it would take at least three days to organize after a tournament, possibly longer if they were to wait for the wounded to heal. Depending on the type of wounds, if that were the case, then it may take upwards from a month or so unless they had some type of magic or technology that healed the wounded swiftly. Thus far, Jyn had gone unimpressed with their level of ability, so he didn’t put too much stock in it.

Sanzon had brought up a good point, however. Since this would probably be something that lasted more than a day, it would probably be good to get lodging in order. Thus with that thought process, Jyn would nod and allow himself to agree, turning to Izumi, and speaking, “then should we see about getting a place to stay here?” He would leave it up to her if she wanted to stay longer than a day; there wasn’t anything that they had going on that he could remember that would be pressing enough to derail the plan, since their focus was currently scattered since their re-inception into this world.

In the background, there seemed to be some type of announcement going on. Jyn wouldn’t draw his attention to it until Izumi had answered.

With a nod, Takeo would admit, agreeing with Yuki, “that would be favorable.” Battousai would be about the same thought. A commotion would build up in the area they were in, and it would seem that the large screen would come to life with five areas being showcased on its bounds. Looking at these five areas, Battousai wondered if they were where the fighting would be taking place. He recognizes the organizer of the tournament and listens to the announcement given by Kia Rio. As in the meeting, he seemed genuine enough, though his methods seemed odd, still, it looked as the tournament would be on its way. Interested in the first matches, Battousai would scan the boards after Kia Rio finishes speaking to find that neither he nor anyone he knew was in the first couple matches. “Hmm….” He would murmur looking over the names and the arena. The mini map showed where each place was, so it seemed simple enough to navigate to them. Looking around, Battousai could also see that others were setting up similar spells in order to watch the battles from this area in small localized pockets of people. Being someone who liked to be where the action was when he observed, Battousai would prefer to physically be at one of the fight, but the large screen made it possible to watch multiple fights at a time. In a side manner, he would inquire of Yuki in a murmur, “should we go to watch a battle, or watch them here?”
