The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the entire group, 'It's just standard pricing procedure. We have to price the female brains a lot lower because they've been used.'

Hrm... Where did everyone go? I know I haven't been the most active of late- but man...
Do we do advertisement contests here? Done em before on different sites and usually managed to pull in a few people at least. Not that I don't like RPing with you lot, but it does seem rather... barren.
What I'm saying is you all suck and I want to RP with new people because you suck so much. Except for Shin- because he can decapitate my character by simply writing the words "I decapitate your character".

Training Req Calculator is off for Stage 2 single effect. For Mastered it shows 2550 EXP when it's supposed to be 2250 EXP...

So, the computers here at school kind of suck. If it didn't take so much time to attempt to link my laptop to the internets, I'd do that... but alas. So- while I'm on campus I won't have access to MSN or YIM chat- but I can still do a post or so before the start of my 3:30 class- which is probably when I will be on unless I start working out for an hour between classes >_>

So- I think I've stumbled onto a problem with the calculator. I've got two abilities that I've got two tags in for support. The cost goes 1125 for Trained, 2250 for Honed, 3825 for Mastered and 4500 for Perfected.
Shouldn't Mastered be 3375? Or is there some math thing that gets added into the abilities that I don't know about?

Re-do it. That problem should have been fixed earlier this week when I told Shin about it. If it's not fixed, please send Shin a PM, so he can take another look at the calculator.

The formula for calculating the first training level (Novice > Trained) = ((500+((Stage of strongest effect)*250)+(250+(Sum of stages of Additional Effects)*250)))-500
We'll call this value T. If the tech is in your affinity, multiply T * 0.75 and use that value instead.
The rest of the values go
(Trained > Honed) T * 2 (Honed > Mastered) T * 3 (Mastered > Perfected) T * 4
Use this to double check your values if the effect calculator still isn't working.
* EDIT: I used this formula in MS Excel. I don't know if it works on paper or a calculator. Excel can get weird with its formulas sometimes.

Quick update: Haven't been around b/c my Director wants this job log finished this week and with mid-year reviews coming up, I need to get everything done ASAP. I don't know if I'll actually be joining the saga or not. Kyro, if u need Dravec for transport and such, go ahead. You can bump him up to Stage 5 Void, so he can move you around wherever you need to go. If I can get finished before the updating deadline, then I'll handle my bio and join the saga, but I've been putting in extra hours to get this thing finished. Wish me luck.
EDIT: Rune, we'll finish ur village RP as soon as I get finished with all my work. You're less likely to die now since I've had to put it on hold for this long tho.

bad news ppl... it looks like i wont have internet in my flat until around the 16th to 18th of september. What i was told about the internet being installed yesterday was wrong... it was the phoneline and NOT the broadband line... which will be installed around 2 weeks after the phoneline have been activated which was yesterday... seems i have to pass on the saga T.T
