The New New?

Do I have a list of changes?
lol, as if
but a few changes off the top of my head are:

Distinction (added to races)
Death edited (site mechanics)
- Remove the ability to combine character levels / Lingering: Spirit separates from body, can possess same body or another. / Path created to unlock memories over time.
Got rid of STE (site mechanics)
Size info added (site mechanics > adv fighting)
WOE revamped, combined and edited (edits are many)
Language write up added to Terra
Army system page edited, military units and structures added (breakdown)
Channeling edited (1s channel requirement limit removed)
Added Antichant transformation
Added weapons/changed how the page is set up
Added quests
Edited life paths/doesn’t take a full path to learn how to read/use relic tech
History/story amended/updated
Allowed the mix and matching of transformations so long as you stay w/in your slot limit
Changed how you learn techs (purchase tags per package instead of techs)
Changed some stuff with villages, areas and stuff (ppl w/areas are prolly gonna have to get at me to figure out what they're starting with and continuing from)


you'll prolly find a lot more changes than that
just look for the pages that say edited by with the (SU2) up there
things may change within the first week or two as i use you all as guinea pigs to test some things, but don't worry about it
everything will be ok
trust me

aside from that enjoy and i'll be around

ah, and yes, you all have to do the introductory thread over again xD

Remarks

The site face lift seems adequate, but Penny and I were looking at the changes you have listed. At first we were unable to location Distinction until I read "They sometimes give off dark auras to the spiritually aware and are normally either evil or neutral with a instinctive craving for power and selfishness." If this is indeed Distinction, then perhaps it should be on it's own line?

Caelestis Regnum and Barathrum Regnum seems to be updated with content, but the date shows March.

The Introductory Test Thread is locked... (It's unlocked now, thank you)

Curse and Bless need to be removed from the Races page if they no longer exist... unless I missed it.

Can you unhide the bio thread for H2H?

Questions

Do pre and post dawn characters at least speak the same language?
Are we keeping the same council members though one seems to be on an extended hiatus?

Teacher
For those who are well versed in teaching others.
٠ x1.25 EXP bonus
٠ 10% training req. reduction to those who learn techs from you
(You must have a tech in order to teach it to someone else)

^ Should this bonus not only apply during teaching, or to the person that you are teaching? Doesn't make much sense otherwise.

I was looking at the races and on the Hito, they get this as a bonus "Can unlock Artifact Activation (Mode) @ Level 10 (increases user's damaging/guard affinity tech by +1 and doubles the stamina regain rate)." that worked before, however now you don't have to have an artifact since you can pick other Character Bonuses so this ability becomes useless to some unless they have Affinity Holder?

didn't see a question board...soooo i'm putting it here.

Given that you stated that H2H characters can be brought back ( though statistically restarted) people can still keep their lifepath's and their rewards ( such as the personnel and etc.)
Does it apply to H2H characters too? Or would their life path's be wiped back to state 0? Also If they still keep them, if you had last left off your life path with some words in it do you still keep the words that was put in it or is the PWC for that restarted to 0 as well?

Another question, Given that we are bringing back our old H2H characters.

Lets say that character already has weapons and they are kept with him and are made a Hybrid character do they still get the bonus of Can unlock 1 free weapon or armor of choice (Common) @ Creation?

Two cents on the first question.

I think it would depend on the path in question. Example. Lord/organisation/celeb Life Path. Keep in mind we're like 20 years down the line. Mass devistation. Population drastically decreased etc). Any Towns/buildings/fame you built up in those years is likely to have disappeared or been destroyed. Same with fans/followers. They're likely to be dead too. Beast Tamer path tho might still be applicable if you have your pet with you.

First question: What I said previously. Beast Tamer, your pet will act as a personel unit.
Second: Yes, you get new items bonus. Old items however that the char had previously need to be approved via permissions

We have mystic beasts on the army page, but at H2H they flew. I can imagine hordes of dragons attacking a city with the element of flight on their side, but there's no reference to flight on the army page; you may want to look into this.
Can you do unlimited promotional tours, or is there a limit to them?
I think NS and S units are off. S is supposed to be for storyline NPCs and NS are supposed to be normal grunt troops. There shouldn't be NS non military, rather it should just be non military, correct?

Short version. Sorry to the people this applies to.

NPCs gained through paths etc) I think the reset should apply to them as well statistics wise. Simply put. If everyone got drained. (TDK and the Prophet included) then EVERYONE should be drained. Theres no logical reason followers should be exempt.

Ah, in that case what you want has been taken note of.

However in this case I feel I must remind you that the same thing happens with PC's and AP. You chose to spend your slot that way, and that way it was spent up till the Update. Depending on what Shin wants to do. You may recieve a refund on it (unlikely) or you may not. Or in fact none of it could happen at all. It remains to be seen.

2) I no longer see the Mystic Animals group on the site. Can a character still join them?
3) What do we do for threads that were not finished before SU2 and are technically still open?

- Can they shield the Member with Magic Shielding?

The current build system has a flaw in it. Enhanced quarries offer a seeming repeatable x1.75 bonus to RP, so if you have 10 quarries then you get a x270 bonus to RP. Meaning, 1 miner working 10 quarries at the same time can toss out the work of 270 men normally; does that seem reasonable? I don’t see the logical sense in it and believe that something may have been overlooked at this point in the system.

how's 1 person gonna work @ 10 diff quarries? (duh)
the quarry's only boost the RP that goes thru it
so if you have 10 ppl working at a quarry, then it boosts their 10 RP x1.75 to get 17.5 RP
they don't work in 10 diff quarries on the same day
that's just silly

Then more than just Kyro was looking at it wrong because I've been doing it like that since the very beginning when there was 3 levels of each type of structure that produced something, and the way that my hand was held through the process was

The effects of two would be: 10% * 10% or 1.1 x 1.1 and NOT 10% x2 (or 1.1 x 2)

And so despite me going by that, having some individuals hold my hand through the whole building stuff...
no one sends me a PM saying " hey you're doing it wrong, been doing it wrong for going on 7 Months ".
I mean more than just myself have looked over my village stuff, and no one call me out on it. From the way it was before it gave the idea that those structures that produced something went by the same thing...

This is going to put me into an Early grave lol

When you see something that looks like it may be an exploit, it's good to bring it up early rather than going with it and assuming that 1) people are watching you and 2) you're right and said ridiculous 'thing' is kosher. To Shin: you will still need to clarify on the page that a worker can only use 1 of a particular type of building that offers these BP bonuses per day so that people won't be confused and believe that this current issue applies to buildings which it doesn't (i.e. Barracks); though I'm not sure the 10*10 note is relevant anymore. It seems a bit convoluted.

I was looking at the Multi-Wielding tag and I seen that it was active though wouldn't it be better as passive?

1) How often can you do the promotional tour?

Campaign: Promotional Tour
Go out and market your area in order to attract attention to it. If you do it right, then you'll be rewarded with some settlers.
Requires: an RP of at least 2000 words
Effect: + Population = 20% of your village's current vacancy (Current Population - Population Limit)

2) Assigning army units 3 roles is a bit much, as mentioned; are you planning to edit it so that you assign units in packs of (insert number here) or something that would make more sense? I could see having a stealth unit that has three particular things, but trying to manage every skill within a unit is a bit much.

3) It's not formally on the site, but can you still gift EXP if you play NPC's for someone; i.e. if I play an NPC for a member, can I give them my wordcount like we were able to do previously?
