Studying

To the esteemed Malachi,

My dearest teacher. I have been on the road for a day now. And as you have asked, I am carrying this letter to your brother in the Village of the Moon.
While traveling on horseback, I have been studying those scrolls you have loaned me. You were completely correct in your thoughts.
They are most useful to my solo endeavors during my stay at the great library. They have also kept me company and given me much to think about
while traveling. Science is a rather broad subject and I am looking to gain a little bit of everything so that I can narrow what I want to do with my life.
Perhaps I should try to learn to read those ancient texts from so long ago. That would be a mighty achievement. But for now I will study the various
dialects from other parts of the land. Thank you for the scrolls. They will help me to master and understand the differences in the regional idioms
as well as the differences in customs. I shall bring the five scrolls back to you when I return.
