Sadi Penny. Albiet one more in that random way that he tended to do. He was sat down examining the piece of what appeared to be a crashed jet. He hadn’t encountered many people who were post dawn thus far. Not that he probably would either. He had noticed that a rather annoying thing had begun to reoccur with him. He was unable to interact with the physical world again. Literally reduced to his base nature as a spirit without substance. His powers that he’d worked so hard in getting were too, gone with the wind. However, he wasn’t one to dwell much on these small annoying details of life. The spiritually aware would still be able to grab him at this point. And whilst he was for all intents and purposes invisible. It would be a good chance to explore. His current theory on the destruction of the world was currently caught between leprechauns did it Or some other kind of mischievous magical creature. The destruction, Penny could understand it had been all out war. However what he didn’t get, was that there was also decay. Destruction he got. But decay required time. Buildings that had been practically brand new in what to him was yesterday. Were now rusted over.

It was almost as if, time had passed. A long time. He sat down and tilted his hat looking up towards the sun. Just what was the truth to this little scenario? He placed a finger in his mouth. Thinking.

Yes indeed something was fishy about this whole situation.

Speaking of fish he had that alternate agenda of his to go ahead and complete. Find his god damned cat. Decay and the possibility of time having passed were a slight source of worry for the madness demon. However arguably Mittens could take care of herself more than Penny could. So even if she had been here this entire time along cold and afraid then it was more than likely over that time she had bread some kind of master race of spirit cats. He stopped thinking for a moment and stood up, was this world ruled by a master race of spirit cats? Their progenitor. His own wonderfully fluffy little kitten? Who knew. He was going to find out certainly. For cats were territorial creatures. Especially he imagined, spirit cats. And whilst his lack of physical touch upon the world may protect him from humans and other such dirty creatures. Before the might of Mittens master race he would be powerless.

Indeed it was, but this of course was all speculation at this stage, of course it was logical speculation. But that none the less. Was at this point irrelevant. But just how was he going to find mittens regardless of her current status as maybe leader of a master race of cute adorable kittens. Well the most obvious of those answers was to lay out food as bait to draw her in but the thing about that was whatever cats liked to eat a lot of animals tended to like; So he might well have been wading through rats, dogs and other cats before he could find her. Hmm....this was going to be a toughie.

There was one thing that he had indeed not thought of throughout this entire ordeal, and that was that the lack of physical impression on the world left him with the inability to make any sort of baited trap as he could literally not set the bait in the first place. Then there was the issue of cigarettes. He liked those things and smoked them like a chimney. In the pre dawn world there had been a shit load of those. But in this world. Was that still the case? Ultimately it didn't much matter as without the physical impression as noted previously he wouldn't be able to pick them up or light them anyways. And going cold turkey on any of his addictions wasn't really going to be fun fun happy time for our hero.

He began to grumble and supposed that the advantages of were quickly swirling down the shitter as reality started pulling the flush handle. So it would probably be best to start learning the whole physical impression bullshit. Had to think had to remember just how did he pll it off the last time? It wasn't just attempting to pick up rocks over and over again. It was something else an it was something that. Bugger it just wasn't coming. Some thought was going to be needed on this one.

Medius tends to be a scary place.

Not that Penny would be aware of this of course. But that didn't much matter because it wasn't really about Penny at this stage. Some kid was sitting in a dark corner shaking as he heard some ungodly noises coming from the room of the deralict house next door. He didn't know what kind of horrible monster was capable of making those noises. But just as soon as he could take it no more. The noises stopped. A man, Penny. Walked outside and washed his hands in a small pond. Tossing away what looked like a relic of the past (playboy magazine). And then saying to himself.

"...Well...now I remember...pretty sure I made a physical impression on that wall...hahahaha...".

The boy didn't quite understand what the man meant. But he would in time. In time.
