- Yes. Sniping someone from 600m away seems like something that feels stage six-y.

Reducing people who, might use a crossbow/bow/other long range weapon char who might have a history of training in their weapon.
- There's no characters with a history of training with a weapon, long range or short range, because all abilities were reset with the dawn. This negates any 'history' or training with a weapon.

At that point you'd be as well forgoing LRW entirely for magic which has similar properties just replacing the need to buy ammunition for a channeling time.
- Magic DMG is variable; gun DMG is static.

Which may, or may not be a more acceptable trade and wouldn't come with the requirement for accuracy.( I'd say speed of proj change as well, although with certain weapons magic exceeds or matches proj speed)
- Proj speed is static for weapons and rightfully so.

Though again, I can't totally disagree with the point. Though the mention of the shotgun does bring an idea to mind.
- As a weapon it would limit it's own range.

I do understand the qualm, however; that one would almost 'never' get to the point where they could shoot beyond 200m (SLR) at anything greater than Novice accuracy. I believe for weapons such as Sniper Rifles that are meant for long range it should be taken into consideration that they will be more effective at long ranges than short range thus making it easier to snipe someone from afar, than trying to wield a sniper rifle like a pistol. The only issue would be how that would translate in an easy to understand manner.

I look at it this way. Some people spend years training their abilities on weapons such as sniper rifles. You can't learn to adjust temperature, wind speed (especially in a city with cross currents between buildings), bullet drop, and common sense physics (what should be) in a week.

I like the system that you designed, it seems extremely thought out and well balanced.

What happened to everyone? I havent seen a pot of random stuff from Penn in two weeks
