Passing The Time

Sitting atop a rock, Yuki looks out over the grass as it sways back and forth under the unseen force of the wind. As he gazes out at the grass, Yuki slowly shifts his gaze across the grass as it sways under the mercey of the unseen force of the wind as it blows through the meadow. Moving up next to the half-breed a wolf comes to sit on its haunches next to Yuki, its gaze set upon the meadow as well as it pants lightly while looking out at the area. Yuki shits his gaze to the wolf as it comes to rest next to him. Looking at the beast the half-breed shifts his gaze about the wolfs form as he brings a hand up and reaches out, running his hand through the wolf's fur. The wolf leaned into the petting from the half-breed, its eyes closing as it sat next to Yuki while being petted. Yuki ran his hand through the wolfs fur before moving his hand to the wolf's head and lightly scratching the top of the beasts head, his graze remaining on the wolf for a brief moment longer before he shifts it from the wolf and back to the meadow.

The wolf sitting next to he half-breed remains still and silent as Yuki begins to scratch the top of its head. Yuki gazes off into the destance, his gaze slowly shifting as he takes in the area in front of him, for a few moments before he lets out a soft sigh as he pulls his hand from the wolf's head and begins to shift. Laying back on the rock Yuki brings his hands up and cups them behind his head as he lays down on the rock and gazes up at the sky. The wolf, responding to the half-breed opens his eyes and lifts its gaze to look at the half-breed now that Yuki has stopped scratching its head and laied down. The wolf keeps its gaze on the half-breed for a few moments as it remaines sitting until finally it begins to move and lays down next to the half-breed, resting its head on Yuki's chest. Yuki begins to listen to the sound of the wind as it blows around him, laying on the rock with his eyes still closed. When the wolf brings its head down to rest on his chest, Yuki lifts a hand and reaches out, placing it on the wolf's neck.

Laying ont he rock listening to the wind, Yuki remains silent as he slowly moves his fingers through the wolf's fur as he relaxes on the rock. The wolf gazes off towards the forest for a few brief moments before closing its eyes as the half-breed had done, resting with its head atop Yuki's chest. As he lays on the rock resting with what he consideres one of his kin, Yuki finds himself in a surren and somewhat peaceful place in the middle of the meadow he begins to drift off into slumber, his hand going lax as it rests on the wolf's neck. Though the half-breed had stoped running his hand through the wolf's fur it didn't open its eyes to look at the half-breed, instead it remains motionless resting on the rock with its head on the half-breeds chest. As he drifts off into slumber, the half-breed begins to fall into the dark void of his mind and what it may conjure up for him in the realm of dreams, his awearness of the world of reality quickly fadding away with each passing moment he falls deeper into slumber.
