Answer: Barter: is a free tech needed to trade in items (it starts off on your bio). You can use it however you want to. You can say you seduce the merchant, fast talk, etc. The ROLL will determine your deal multiplier. It starts out at Novice but can be trained (Stage 3) to Perfected. The more you train it, the better you chances at getting a good deal. When you trade in items for other items, use the roll chart to see how well your barter does.
