| I find myself walking towards the direction of Medius having come from the Coastal Regions of Mare Maris. The terrain was partially evaluated as it was like I was moving through areas of shifting hilly elevation. As I often did, I was currently traveling by foot over these great lands of Terra. If it were to be placed into a classification, then my technical role in this world was that of an adventurer; so in that sense I mostly traveled and explored various things and places. My hands were lowered to my side, one holding a piece of parchment with the other holding a slender tool used for writing. My tan cloth duffle bag was slung around my shoulder and neck as I slung it needing my hands to work with the makeshift map that I was editing. My sword was placed on my back and my ivory robes surrounded my body. The map that I had was a replication of one of the ancient maps found from the old world. The actual original copies were hard to come by, but I was able to get bits and pieces of hand drawn replicas that helped as I got from place to place. Currently, though, the maps I had only covered the areas I had been to, since they seemed to be a regional thing somehow, almost as if I were in some type of game where you only got the map of the area you were in at that time and you had to find it in a vase or urn or something to that nature. - 274

| Around the R5 region on the map, I would be passing through a strait of sorts with a large inland lake on one side and the cove into The Great Sea on the other side. Southwest of me would be the area known as the Northern Heights in the old world and Rockland in this one.
While walking through the hilly pass between bodies of water I come across a trap. Having been traveling for a while, there were a few things that seemed obvious when you came upon them, the types of things that made one stop to wonder if the rest of the world had really lived through these 20 years or so of hardship or not. Either way, the trap came in the form of a slender pale woman set near the shores of the northern inland lake less than thirty yards from my current position. To the far side of her was a fairly large rock and with bush on the opposite side in this particular area. The only thing they were missing was a wire cage. Still, she was lying on her side with her face down to the ground and her clothing ripped. Among the mentioned thing that tipped me off to the fact that this was a trap was the positioning of the body along the back, the flow of the river… oh yeah, and the fact that I saw a “shoe” slide into place behind the rock. I give an internal sigh to the ‘here we go’ type situation, since I probably wouldn’t’ be able to pass without being bothered anyways. Chances were they were probably one of the bandit tribes of Rockland. Since it has been a while since he came out, I decided to allow Battousai to handle the situation this time. While walking into this trap area, I disposition changes slightly as my hair straightens slightly, my yes tinge red with my muscle tone seemingly decreasing (Persona shift > Battousai). -349 | |

| Knowing my current purpose for being here, I do not look around or do anything to telegraph the fact of the change other than the physical items that were out of my control. With my current objective before me, my head shifts as I ‘seem’ to notice this woman along the banks of the lake for the first time. The fact that it was a woman perplexed me slightly since I would assume that Jyn’Rai would be more adept to handling any situation with a woman. He seemed to like things like that, where as it didn’t matter much to me if it were a woman I was carving up, or be it a male. Still, I would assume that Jyn’Rai would not want this woman chopped up into piece. I would handle the nuisances, and then revert back to him. On nearing the woman, my hands place the map that I was holding into one pocket and I set down my bag, placing the writing utensil into it. After setting down the bag, I walk over to where the young woman was laying down. I wondered how many there were around me. I figured for an operation like this, it would be safe to assume that there were two. The normal thing to do would be to walk up to the woman and crouch over her to see if she were okay; that would probably also be the thing that would get me killed. Instead of that, I walk around her to the edge of the lake and crouch down there, taking a hand full of water and tossing it towards the woman’s face; it would either be that or pee on her and I didn’t have to go right now. -295 | |

| On contact with the face, the ‘woman’ lifted up in a ‘what the hell type’ manner. It was then that I was able to get a good look at its face to realize that the woman wasn’t a woman at all. It was simply a malnourished male in a wig, or maybe more appropriately, scalp. This placed several various connotations on the word trap since this turned from a simple trap to a double layered trap. Unfortunately for the male, he wasn't even an attractive trap, just one that you needed a good look at in order to see he wasn't what you wanted. Either way, with the cover blown, the male stands to his feet with another male in worn leather jacket and tan garments coming from behind the rock wielding a knife in his hand warning, “you should have taken the easy way out. We would have only knocked you out and taken your stuff then.” A third dressed in khaki pants and hide vest wielding a mid length pike, comes from previously noticed brush to the side and with that I found myself in a three on one situation; that much was fine. -207

| So as things stood, I had a cross dressing male to my immediate front and then to my right was an armed man with another to my left. Deciding that it probably wouldn’t be best to wait for them to fully approach me from all sides, I decide to go for the easy target first which would be the man that was dressed as a woman. In this observation, not only did he seem to be the frailest among the group, but he also didn’t seem to be wearing any armor. This made it so that I didn’t actually have to search for a critical spot to strike him at. I make my move, interrupting anything that they might have planned up to this point. I figured they probably didn’t have a back up strategy for if their initial trap didn’t work, so they would probably be playing it by ear. It would be better for me to have them in a state of unreadiness than in one of preparation. While they are doing their looming approach, I pick out just how I am going to strike with the intentions that my first attack might not hit; that would be way too convenient. -209 | |

| Before girly man before me is able to get out a cute phrase of intimidation or comment about how I’ve been caught in their web or something to that nature, my body leans forward as I rush the short distance to him with my right hand holding the hilt of the claw-blade that was sheathed in its casing on my back. Thus, before he is able to counter attack my approach I draw my blade, slashing across him, much like a bear would make an unorthodox swipe at a smaller animal. The girl-man reacts swiftly as he is able to at least block with his arm, stopping me from being able to hit a vital organ. He screams in out pain with the strike, probably his own fault for not having a weapon on him, but in moving with this, my body rolls around his, pulling my blade free and slashing across his back while behind him. His garments are ripped with blood spewing from the wound inflicted at both his back and arm. Though the time passing would be too small of a frame for m to keep an eye on both the other men , my adrenaline was pumping and I knew that they wouldn’t simply sit back and watch their friend get taken out without at least attempting to do something. -233 | |

| So since I knew that the others would be upon me, my slash across the back of the crossing dressing male would not be without a plan of fluid continuance. Just moments after the blade connect with the back of the first victim my body began to focus with both hands coming to the hilt of my sword. My strength is channeled into the sword and with our essence combined strength is exerted in all directions. The force of the strength is about the same as if a person were pushing someone else in the chest; it wasn’t anything insanely powerful, but it was enough to get the job done. Thus, this weak force pushes the slashed victim forwards and into the lake while at the same time unsteadying the other two men that were rushing in at me. Fluidly in an almost feline motion, my body shifts forwards as one hand releases the sword and it’s swung in a swiping manner across the chest of the nearest male. The purpose of my technique was basically to have my sword touch its target as many times as need to make it stop moving. When that was accomplished, then the battle would be over. -218 | |

| As the newly cut victim stumbles back, I pursue and step forward, grapping out and holding onto his shirt with one hand. This was basically a coarse manner in holding him steady as I stab my blade into him at the crease between the padded areas in his clothing. I wouldn’t hit any vital organs in this thrust, but I would give him something to think about. I am protected by this fact that his body reacts violently to the pain, rejecting any attempts he might have at performing a counter attack. I would discard him, however, before he would get a chance to compose and attempt to hurt me back; I didn’t like pain, so I often tried my best to avoid it. During this time, my red pupils lift up to the third man. I halt the incoming of his assault by slinging the thrust victim into his path before stepping forwards and channeling strength into my blade, slashing in an upward manner. Aside from the strength placed into the slash, an extra amount of voice was added in the form of a push back effect. With that, both of the men were sent falling onto the same direction as their girly cohort, causing quite a splash. Much like fish almost out of water, they splashed and flapped about, spraying water as they defensively attempted to hold their would and retreat my calm approach. -259

| Had it been Jyn’Rai in control then the men may have been spared at this point, but since Battousai was in the lead, it meant that once they attacked, their fate and likelihood of living would be between them and their god. Wielding my blade in my right hand, I approach the three downed men calmly. It was much easier to deal with them when they were grouped before me and wounded like this. The cuts often slowed down the victim and the blood loss blurred the vision. As bandits, there was a chance that they might have items of use in their bodies, and if they did, then of course I would have to confiscate them. Without a word of warning my body shifts forwards and my blade moves quickly to finish the task that they had started. The lake water near that area is stained with the deep red color of blood that wafts passively in the wake of ripped and still bodies. When it is all said and done, I would be seen crouched in the waters, cleaning my blade in it before standing and wiping the blade dry with a portion of my garments.

| After drying my blade, I would flip it in my grip and slide it into the sheath that rested on my back before closing my eyes. A bright light would flash about me and I would be returned to the persona of Jyn’Rai. With a light sigh, I look over what Battousai had done to these people. I didn’t necessarily agree with it, but it was over with now and they would be gone from this world. My arms are crossed as I look down at them for a moment before moving forwards and picking up the legs of the first one. I would drag the corpse to the shore and then proceed in fetching the other two. It would take too much energy to offer them a proper burial, but I figured I could at least take their bodies out of the water. My gaze shifts to the bushes as I wonder about depositing them there. Before I do anything of that nature, I check their clothing to see if I could find anything of value on them to keep; I wouldn’t waste the opportunity to loot them, because if I didn’t someone else passing by probably would. After checking their pockets, I would begin the process of attempting to hide the bodies.

| The findings on the men weren’t spectacular, which probably explained why they wanted to rob me in the first place. They just had some common bandage tape and a silver trinket, but I figured I could at least trade those two things in for something; something was better than nothing. For those two items, I had the trouble of having to dispose of three bodies. One by one, I would drag them over into the bushes that was parallel to the waters at a distance of around twenty or so feet. Streaks of blood were left in the road from the path the bodies had taken. Moving to attempt to cover the tracks, I try to kick dust over the blood trails, but it proved too much work. I tried pouring water over it to make it seep into the ground in an attempt to dilute the red, but without a bucket or anything, there was no adequate or efficient way to go about that. Deciding that it was more trouble than it was worth I decided to just leave the scene. Wild animals would find the bodies anyways, so if they were carnivorous, I would have given them a free meal on me. With that, I dust my hands of the situation and proceed casually upon the path that I had been walking with enough time wasted thus far.
