Jayde had been sentenced to not only death but silence as well. Silence was not a problem since she had spent most of her life this way. But for four days and four nights, she was reduced to living with it forced. That was something entirely wrong with that. All of this for standing by her belief and not giving up ANY information upon her teacher and their Lord. Although she only had the information gleaned from her teacher in the moments following that battle for the sword. The Tyrant Noah, would some day pay the price for this, she was sure of it. Hope was another strong suit of the woman that sat upon that couch, watching the hourglass slowly fill the bottom. Each grain of sand a moment closer to her death. She could not test spells, nothing. Each grain of sand meant a moment longer that she had to face the truth, that Noah was right. Master Hunter was not coming after her.
One would think that Mirage would have found out about all of this, the woman was good at her job, but then again, it was a trap. And Master Hunter was an intelligent man, and full of strategy. So perhaps they were just waiting for the right time? Or perhaps it was an illusion of hers. She was alone and would die alone at the hands of this evil man. Did she fear his threats about rape, yes. Did she fear his threats about torture, yes. But facing those fears with courage and a strong heart would serve her well. She would not give into the fear, she would be strong until the end. To give in would be to let him win. Jayde believed that if it was at all possible, her master would have come to her aid. She also believe that Noah was an evil tyrant, a Kami gone rogue. But in the end, her heart would forgive him. He was in a way protecting his city and interests.
She had spent her 18th birthday here, having turned a woman amid the terror and fear that she kept hidden to herself. She was constantly wondering what the man would do to her next. The young woman had suffered embarrassment, solitude, fear, interrogation, and worse all, she had suffered humiliation. Being stripped naked and having to be bathed and taking care of like a child had struck a hard blow to her pride. But still she survived and she was still strong. Just a bit worse for wear mentally and emotionally.
Frustration poured out of her in ways as she teared up and let the tears fall down her cheeks. Her hands clinched in fist of the material of her simple gown. The course material fit for a prisoner about to die. White was a fitting color for her purity as well. Jayde let up a silent prayer to the heavens, a prayer from her heart, that Master Hunter would at least benefit from her death and the protection of her sacrifice. She prayed that it would be a quick clean death and as painless as possible. And the last of all, she prayed for Noah, and prayed his hardened, evil heart would eventually find light and goodness. His heart would find mercy and forgiveness. At the end, the chains gave a rattle as she reached up and wiped her wet cheeks.

y. She was kidnapped and facing death for something that she had no real knowledge of. The memories after all had been stolen from her concerning that day. Perhaps if Noah had remembered just what both he and Jay’de had done together. This would not have happened. The mark upon her body, the mark that had been till now quiet. The very one that had gotten her caught in the first place. Now began to grow active. There was a whisper in Jay’De’s mind. Punish....punish...punish...... The words of the other half of the mark. Those praying upon feelings of unfair treatment. But they were silenced by the tears of the girl. Who in her heart even prayed that one day Noah would see some good. ” Even in the heart of punishment...you show mercy....worthy host”. It was a female voice, no...not just one...it sounded like there were several...but speaking in unison...far away...difficult to-” Our power dims....too-strong....watc...come...must prepare.....”.
Jay’De would be surrounded by a glowing green light, and before the guards would know what had happened. She was gone. Marks similar to the one on her body burned into the surface of the stone.
Jay’De would open her eyes to blackness, voices whispering all around her. Till ti was cut through by the female voice. ”...Run...Run towards the light...don’t look back”.. A bright green light appeared within the dark passage. There were sounds of movement behind her. Cold breaths that made the hairs of the neck stand on end. He voice was good...but it wasn’t the only thing that existed here....there was something evil.
Duality A sleeping power. Jay’de marked by the Word of Mercy has seeming been rescued from her fate. However has it placed her in even more danger? Jay’De must escape the darkness by following the light before investigating any further as to just what has saved her, and just what it meant by. “ Host”.

Voices in her mind, speaking.... oh by the graces... her mental powers were coming back, but this time they seemed to only be heard by her. Strangeness in that... It had always been a swirl of voices protecting her and pushing outward into other people's minds. But the guards did not seem to see anything. What was going on? The words were broken, mismatched, strange, of more than one voice and all female. Shaking her head she tried to focus on the voices and what they were saying. Host? What did they mean host? And their power dims? Was the evil tyrant coming along? Is that what they were speaking of? Then there was nothing but the bright green glow.
When she next opened her eyes, she could not see anything. It was pitch black and all she could hear was her heartbeat. Then the voices began to whisper all around her. The young padawan was standing there like a moron trying to figure out what was going on. When the female voices came again she could feel a breath on the back of her neck, and fear took hold. Strong enough to make her just listen and run, without thought, without looking back. She just ran, forgetting that she was paralyzed. Jayde ran towards the light, not being able to help it, she just fear what was behind her and continued to run down the dark, reaching for the light. She had wished for her power, she wished for her spells, she wished for a lot, but right now she just wished to reach the light and safety. Her heart hammering against her chest, she ran.

The darkness would receed through the coming of the light. And oce again the soothing sound of the female voices in unison would talk within the mind of the young woman. " You are safe". The voices seemed clearer this time, less jumbled although in the light you still could see nothing. In a way it was almost as bad as the dark. Everything blinding you. But this light felt warm, comforting. Not like the fear and cold that accompanied the dark. " We have been reclaimed". Spoke the voices, although what they meant by any of it was still a mystery in on itself. " Together again, but not clear. Not whole...but together....but we, those who escaped remain....". Those who escaped? Nothing that was spoken made much sense, however the voices seemed to speak as if you would know.
"....He will not harm you, he too is marked....he will-SUFFERPUNISHMENTSUFFERDDDDDDDDDESTRO-"
The unified female voices seemed to change and for a moment the soft green light had changed to a pulsing orange one. The voices had changed from calming female to aggressive male. But the green light returned. "....They must remain contained....they cannot escape....must contain....". At this point they seemed to be most talking to themselves. " Punishmennt must not rule you..or you will become like the original host".

The light was almost just as bad as the darkness. The voices in her head were confusing, but still she questioned them, wondering how they could know. "How am I safe? He will kill me, for information I will not give. He is evil, a tyrant? How can you say he will not harm me?" She sighed as a tear came forth and slipped down her cheek. "I am sentenced to die, I cannot walk, I do not have my magic. I cannot even talk without his guards coming to cut off my head." She was afraid of death, afraid of the unknown. Her hand reached up and wiped a tear from her cheek. "He might not harm me, but he will have others do it for him. Who are you and what original host?" Her voice was sad and confused. Jayde turned and looked around in this space of light, unable to see anyone else. "I do not wish to punish him or even see him destroyed. I just pray that one day his heart would turn back to the right path. He is a Kami, a being of order and light. Why would he do this?" So many questions floated around that she was confused and lost feeling. Although she felt safe right now. What would happen after these beings released her back to her own self?
Part of her just wanted to stay here and hide from the fate that awaited her. Part of her just wanted to die and get it over with. Like the voices she was torn to two sides. Her heart was still full of good and light, but could she be brave. When she was so alone.

Kami and Oni are no different from one another....one leans to light, the other to darkness"
The voices spoke to her trying to be as soft as possible. " Light burns....darkness decays......but both are forces of destruction....". The voices were introducing a new view on the struggle between light and dark between Kami and between Oni. Light was just as bad as the dark. " Noah is representing the Kami, the light in his own way....you are not cooperating with him, there fore he sees you as darkness a stain on his city that must be burned away...such is the nature of light...". It swept from one ear to the next whisepring again. Bringing back memories of her time with Wiseman. " Darkness however...is accepting....seductive....it will accpt all and make it seem as if it is the best of all options....". Thee words spoke finally.
" In truth...neither are good...or evil...."

Jayde listened to the voices and tried to make sense of everything. She understood Noah's side, but the way about it was dark and sinister. "Then what am I suppose to do. I cannot tell him, especially now that he has shown his true colors. And it would betray those that I am close too." Memories of Wiseman floated through her head. He was an Oni and she had been with him for a little while and he had been helpful. It was so confusing. Light and Dark, good and evil. It made her heart hurt, A being of light causing such torment and torture and threatening such foul things to her. Somehow they were connected with that mark, and yet, he still wanted her death. Jayde had not even done anything wrong but try to flee a situation that would have turned out to be like this anyways.
"Why do we both have this mark, if he is Light? I'm not dark, I not like that." She was thinking along of lines of if he was the light side of the mark, then she was the dark side. "What is this mark anyways, and where did it come from" So many questions as she listened, her mind fluttering around like a trapped butterfly in a jar. Her death loomed over her and she was frightened at the idea of it. But it would be too easy to give in and tell everything she knew. Darkness was temptation. And that darkness was trying to push her towards the easy path. She needed to stay strong.

There was more silence now. “ Kami are creatures of Order, Oni are creatures of Chaos...light and darkness do not exist within either....light is as capable of unleashing chaos, as darkness is at imposing order....”. These voices now were a mix of both the male and female. The light faded from colour to colour. Essentially what the voices seemed to be telling her was that Kami or Oni, light or dark made very little difference as to just what a person was. ” Good, and evil are merely points of view, set aside from the pity concerns of things such as light or darkness...each person takes a view of their own accord...by not giving information about those you care for..you are doing good in your own eyes...but by doing good in your own eyes, you do evil in Noah’s.....in turn just as you are blind to the possible evils he too seems to be blatantly ignorant of his own “... The voices topped as you spoke, enquiring about why you and Noah shared the mark.
[i][b]” The Mark came from us...we are Male Voice: Punishment Female Voice: Mercy....you gave yourself to us to save a life....to save many lives...as did the one known as Noah....we took from you yur memories....he will not harm you because we will not allow it.....he is connected to you by us......you will be saved...you will be saved....but remember...like the powers of light and darkness...punishment is as kind, as mercy can be cruel....the time will come...be prepared...”. The light faded...and once again you were back in the temple. Similar walls but different location. You were unchained...

Jayde came to herself, standing in a room, much like the one she had spent 3 months residing in. Only she was standing. The young woman gave pause and blinked at her legs. She could feel them, and walk. Taking a single step, she almost happily crowed, but kept her hands over her mouth. There were no guards in this room, but she would need to be quiet, in case they came looking for her. They would, she knew this. Softly she began walk towards one of the many doors. She didn't even know how to get out of here, much less where exactly here was. It was still the temple, but it could be like a maze, or there could be guards on the other side of the door. She approached the first door and listened carefully to what was going on pass the wooden door.
She heard nothing and let the door creak upon just a sliver and scanned the area. Nothing, so she push the door open and slipped through. It was another room just like the last. By the great beings, she had been right this place was a maze. She could be stuck there for sometime. Still she would not give up. This process was repeated multiple times, if she heard the sounds of guards on the other side of the door, she would make her way to next door and go out that way. Hours would pass and it drove her crazy this maze of rooms. But this time did allow her to reflect on what the voices had said to her. Her eyes had been opened to Noah's view of her own deeds. They could be taken as evil. Just as she took his own. But his were to an extreme. If this had been any other time or place. If there hadn't been such bad blood between them, she might have shared it with him. Might have come to him for advice and help. But now, she could not trust him, just as he could not trust her.
That hurt her in a way she could not understand. The young woman, was torn. So in one of the rooms, she stopped for a moment and closed her eyes. Torn between wanting to share this with him and figure out the mystery, and needing to escape. If she went to him, then he would kill her or put her back into the chains and such. If she left, it would be much harder to figure out all of this.
