A Heavenly Visit

Along the timeline of things, the events to follow would occur within the time that Battousai, Yuki, and Dravec would still be living in the mansion in the northern lands of Medius. In flashback form, this story will portray events that had occurred before the group would reach the eastern lands and before Jyn would come to realize his lifelong dream of facing the lingering past that haunted him to this point.

The veil of darkness would cloak over the land in the late hours of the night and early hours of the morning. Jyn’s body would be peacefully sleeping in the bed chambers which were situated on the second floor of the Medius mansion. In like form, his body would be sprawled across the top of the bed, lying on his back with his head to the side and a small strand of saliva connecting his mouth to the pillow. His throat would make a rhythmic sound with the rising and falling of his chest as he slept peacefully. The darkness permeating the room would be broken by a burst of radiant light that would shine about the room originating at Jyn’s body. The flowing light aura would silently change Jyn’s form to that of an unknown large male with long and flowing white hair and an eye patch over his right eye.

The large ivory haired male would lean up in the bed garbed in white robes covered with a crimson red over coat and look over his body before finding it acceptable and moving to stand up next to the bed. From there, he walks over to the window and presses it open with his right palm. The double door style windows open outward allowing in the brisk night air. The figure lifts his foot to the ledge of the window and then steps on it before pressing forth and ascending into the airs outside of the mansion, moving upwards at a rapid rate of speed.

Previously in his last manifestation, he had spoken with another of his kind who had given him a small amount of info about the land above the earth. An agreement had been made to meet again at another time, but since that time, he hadn’t seen the lightning elemental. Taking matters into his own hands, this unknown male decides that he would see this land on his own, and thus his gaze was set at the large gates of glory in the sky. His body bursts with energy and he shoots off with accelerated speeds towards the skies.

Cruising at around 160 KPH, it doesn’t take the figure long to be among the floating pieces of ‘broken heaven’ that floated and existed 20 km over the earth’s crust. Taking note of them, he ignores them as he continues his way towards the heavenly gates. After ascending 50 km, he comes upon the broken gates and flies into them. Here he is given his first glance of Caelestis Regnum. In entering into the spiritual realm, he beholds the expansion world that existed over the one that he had been experiencing up to this point. In a realm of light, his heart is captivated by his assumed homelands as he finds it beautiful and right, though there is some dismay at the disorder he sees within it, evidence that something bad had happened here in the past. Still, the land seemed to be repairing itself, so his heart is given some form of hope.

Now here, his body moves forth to fly over the lands at a decent altitude in order to get a good lay of it. He wanted to make sure he was versed in how the land looked for future trips here.

At a slowed pace in the skies, the unknown figure glides. The beings eyes surveyed all that was below him, the brilliant and radiant land that he was certain he had hailed from. In his mind, he knew there much be a disconnect that was beyond remembrance that occurred to put him in an earthly vessel; her thought perhaps there may have been something that existed even before the dawn, for his existence couldnt be something that had been simply created in the short humanistic span of time that existed before the dawn.

As he flew over the lands of the Heavens, he would notice something odd in the distance. Looking sharply with his enhanced vision, he would notice a battle in the distant forest lands spanning beyond the outskirts of the realm. Curiosity coaxed him to make hast towards the battle as his body rapidly accelerates from its sauntering pace.

As he approaches closer, he is able to notice that the battle seemed to be an unbalanced one where four fought against a dozen. Among the four, one seemed to stand out in stature and power. He was a large bald male of deep brown skin, muscular build, glowing golden eyes in shining holy armor wielding a halberd within his hefty hands. He alone was in the process of facing off against six of the assorted demons of whom they were in combat with. The other three kamis in attendance split the attention of the remaining 6. As he approached, Unknown would be able to hear their speech.

"Strengthen your resolve comrades, we shall purge this land yet", comes the hail from the dark skinned leader. His words seemed to encourage the three outnumbered combatants who all seemed to be in their own struggle against the enemy forces. One of the oni in the group, a red skinned elk humanoid, manages to get to a blind spot with the leader and generates a large spike of energy before swiftly casting it out towards the leader. The leader turns in time to see the attack, but not in time to evade it. Appearing between the leader and the attacker, Unknown catches the spike of dark energy and holds it steady just before it hits his chest. The leader seems surprised for a moment, but realizes that Unknown was like them. Crushing the attack in his grip, Unknown shatters the energy lance and then vanishes, appearing at the creature who cast it and then holds it up by its neck. Energy forms in his hand as he commands, parish from this land, darkness. In an explosion of light, the creature is destroyed from the shoulders up, and falls to the ground before its carcass begins to face away in spirit particles. With this, the leader is able to turn to his own battle, and while forming a broad sword of light in his right hand with the incantation of Goronova, Unknown sizes up the opponents in this battle.

Judging the speed and strength of the Onis Unknown makes his move to intervene as efficiently as he can see fit. He appears next to one of the Onis attacking one of the lesser three Kami. With a slash of his blade, the Onis head departs from its body. This distraction costs the Oni attacking with him his life, as the Kami uses it to his advantage and thrusts his blade into the gut of the beast before kicking him off and to the ground. The tides of battle swiftly turn and in a manner of moments, the leader purges his targets around the same time the others finish.

At the end of the battles, the Onis bodies are dissipating as the leader turns to Unknown and greets, "thank you for your assistance stranger." Unknown would counter, "we are all brothers in order." The leader would seem to like this response as he would nod, "yes, you are right; I can tell you are strong in strength and spirit. I am Exia, Captain of the Orthodox Legion of Heavenly Cleansing. Its odd that I haven't seen you before. From what part of Caelestis do you hail?"

Unknown would answer, "I do not know, I am recently come of Terra Regnum, so I have come home for the first time in my remembrance. Why is there darkness in this realm of light?" Exia would frown and admit, "there are several displaced pockets of evil within. We hypothesize that they were come since before The Dawn. It has been a task to hunt and purge them all, but it shall be done." Unknown nods and answers, "I see." His sword of light retreats in a ray of light leaving his hands unoccupied, and he inquires, "only you four?" Exia shakes his head, "though we are few in number, there are more than what you see here. Order is still something that must come to the lands, however." Unknown would nod and confirm, "I see." The leader would invite, "will you come with us?" In a declining shake of his head, Unknown speaks, "my ambitions are greater than the purging of merely one land, but that is not for this conversation. I must depart from you now." Understanding, Exia nods, "if that is how it is, I wish you peace." With a nod, Unknown would return, "peace and order to you, brother." With that, his body would turn to them and he would take back to the skies as he had been.
