Among Mountain Men and Such

The spar with the student had come to an end for now; thus far, Yuki had passed since he hadn’t gone into his transformation. He had enraged himself, but that didn’t count as a transformation technically since he didn’t go into his more animalistic forms, assuming those were what he had. Either way, on the horizon of their spar would be several men standing in the presence of Jyn. Though not his real physical body, Jyn didn’t seem as if he were in danger, which calmed Battousai just a bit. The samurai would walk over to where the men were standing and look to Jyn for an explanation. Jyn would shake his head and murmur something about them having the ability to share thoughts before he explains, “these guys here used to be pestered by the bandits who took this village.” As if on cue, one of the men standing next to Jyn, a stout man with a animal fur head band and leather chap like clothing with a hand axe on his waist and a brown beard bordering his mouth, steps forwards and nods in a hearty manner stating, “those bandits attacked our village many times. We had to come and meet the people who crippled their forces so. I reckon you’re the boss?” Battousai nods. Jyn clarifies, “the ugly guy with the big sword is Yuki; he lead the battle against those bandits and leads the village now.” The hearty male looks to Yuki and grins, “well, good to meet you brother. I’m Kelvin of the Ascots; good to meet you.”

Yuki glances to his sensei for a moment as he begins to move and heads towards Jyn and the men with Jyn. Since he wasn't sure what is going on Yuki decides to hold his ground for a moment since it seemed his companion was in no form of danger with the men around him. Instead Yuki lets his sensei go first while he waits behind wondering if he would be needed should some sort of fight break out. As Jyn begins to speak Yuki listens to him and as he listens Yuki comes to understand that the men are not here for a fight but rather on other business as it seems they are from the village he had saved. Finally Yuki begins to move and starts to make his way towards the grouped as he hears Jyn introduce him. Shifting his gaze to his companion Yuki shoots the male a light glare, " Ugly huh? Well you aren't any better you know. " Yuki says playfully to his companion before turning his attention back to the one who referred to himself as Kelvin and gives a faint nod, " As my friend has said, I am Yuki and it is good to meet you. " Yuki says as he brings his arm up and extends it out to the man once he draws with in range to shake hands.

Jyn chuckles at being called not better in terms of looks. “As if…” he would murmur lightly knowing that he was all that and a bag of potato chips. The burly man meets with Yuki’s hand and the shake occurs. The man looks down at the hand he was shaking and he comments, “I can tell you’re quite the warrior…” He releases Yuki and then folds his arms at his chest, speaking, “well, we came here for more than just to shake your hand.” This time he would address Battousai, Jyn and Yuki. He continues, “we know that this world is filled with bandits like that one and that the only way we’re going to live in peace is if we unite against them. Now we have an alliance that has kept us safe this far. We’ve come as a measure of good will to allow you into that alliance.” With this Jyn would see it as a good enough idea, though Battousai would look as if he were thinking on things. He looks to the male and comments, “let’s move into the village and speak about it there.” Jyn picks up, “yeah; talking always goes well with eating. How does that sound?” The leading male would nod and agree to that and with the new direction set, all indications would lead to Battousai leading the way to the village. Walking along side Yuki, Jyn asks, “do we have a clean enough room to serve as a meeting area? Hell… do we even have food?” He assumed that as the leader of his clan, all Yuki had to do was make the order known among his vessels and the women would get in their appropriate places in the kitchen.

For the moment Yuki ignores the comment from his companion and shakes the man's hand as the man comes to take hold of his hand in the friendly gesture. At the moment Yuki knew he had to be as the diplomat for his village so he had to show his best side rather then his bad side. Yuki gives a faint nod to the man's comment, " I do what I can.. " Yuki murmurs lightly to the males comment. As he finishes shaking the males hand Yuki releases his grasp on it and lets his hand fall back to his side as he shifts his gaze over the other males with Kalvin. As Kalvin continues to speak Yuki listens to him as he begins to speak of an alliance of powers to remain safe in this land. As he listened Yuki came to understand that these men sought him in the idea that he would join there alliance of powers, this was something that the half-breed gave thought to and thought perhaps such a thing would be a good idea, though given his past he couldn't help but wonder what all this alliance had to offer him. When Battousai begins to speak Yuki glances to him for a moment as he seems to take charge of the moment and suggest that they retire to the village. Yuki shifts his attention to his companion Jyn as he begins to speak up, seeming to agree with Battousais idea of heading back to the village though Jyn seemed to have food in mind as well. With a soft growl Yuki shifts and begins to follow after Battousai and the others as they head back into the village. As he hears his companion speak again Yuki glances to hi for a moment as he thinks up what Jyn had asked. " ... I shall add a meeting hall to the list of things to be added to the village. However I guess my house would work for the time being and as for food I believe I can get us something to eat. "

“Something?” Jyn frowns as he lifts his arm up and wraps it around Yuki’s neck to pull him down in a chummy fashion. Of course, if Yuki were to push away, he would simply continue to walk along side him, but mention, “You need to delegate more order. You’re the boss of your people, so you need to make sure things run smoothly and efficiently. There need to be a clear definition between hunters, gatherers, and cookers… and the only way the women of your tribe should be allowed to cook are in a special uniform.” If having held Yuki at this point Jyn would have let go to walk on his own as he attempts to explain just what an apron was and why it should be worn with no other clothing on while food is being prepared. “The leader isn’t supposed to cook,” Jyn clarifies, “he’s supposed to be taken care of for all the leading he does!”

While this silliness was going on up ahead, Kalvin would walk along side Battousai with the other men in tow. Kalvin would be interested in the hierarchy of things at the moment and Battousai would explain that his current pupil was the leader of this village. He wouldn’t explain that the village was basically given to him as a task to help build Yuki as a leader, but would allow the man to know that any type of diplomacy that needed to be done would go through Yuki for the time being. For right now, in this phase of Dravec’s plan, Battousai knew it was best to support Yuki for now and not try to control what was given to him; Yuki would find his own wings.

As Jyn looped his arm around his neck, Yuki doesn't stop the male and instead leans in closer as Jyn pulls him down. Leaning in closer to his companion, Yuki begins to listen to the male as he starts to speak. While he listens to his companion Yuki begins to think upon what he is saying about leading his people. When Jyn spoke of the women wearing a special uniform while cooking Yuki couldn't help but wonder what he meant by that, is there some kind of special and traditional cooking outfit they are suppose to wear while preparing meals? Yuki begins to pull away from his companion as he releases his grasp upon him, standing up right as he glances down at his companion still wondering what he is talking about with a special outfit. As his companion starts to explain the idea of an apron and no clothing under it while the women cook Yuki thinks on this and finds that he likes the idea greatly and perhaps implement it with the women of the village. As he makes the comment about the leader not having to cook, Yuki gives a faint nod to he idea and finds he likes the idea of being taken care of for all the leading he will do like his companion has informed him. " That sounds like a good idea Jyn, I shall see about having the females do that. " Yuki says with a smirk.

Hearing his sensei as he begins to speak about him, Yuki shift's his attention from his companion and to his sensei as his sensei explains to the newcomer that he is the leader of the village and the one that is to talk to should there be diplomacy and an alliance. As they draw closer to his house Yuki begins to step forward so he could open the door and let the men into his house so they can begin there talks.

EXP: 340

With an arm pump, Jyn would claim success in his current campaign. As the self-proclaimed best friend of Yuki, he figured that he would reap all the benefits that Yuki would have as the right hand man of his organization. Of course, his focus would be totally different from that of Battousai’s, though the two shared the same body. Still, Jyn knew that his time here would be no more than a vacation, for unlike Battousai, he still held true to Jin’s desire of adding closer to his life before settling down. There was finding the black mage from their childhood, killing him, then marrying Melody and various other things. With a pat on the back, Jyn would comment, “good man” before Yuki would turn his attention elsewhere.

As the group enters into the village, the men were able to see firsthand the marks and battle scars that the small village had gained in both its being taken over and reclaimed. Still, they could see many of the people there hard at work, rebuilding the place. The men would become a bit more self-conscious being around so many lovely ladies on their arrival.

As they reach the door, Battousai would enter with Kalvin and ask Jyn to hold the door so that Yuki could enter in third. Squelching up his face, Jyn eyes Battousai, but holds the door for now while being social and all smiles for the rest of the people as he welcomed the small group of men into their current humble abode. From there, Battousai would motion towards Yuki and inform, “I’ll allow you and him to speak. I shall take on the role as a counselor during the conversation.” With a nod, Kalvin seemed to understand.

When Jyn took the door Yuki looks to the male and gives a faint nod with a thankful smile before he follows after Battousai and Kalvin into his house. After entering Yuki glances back to his companion for a brief moment before shifting his attention away from the male and glances around his house for a moment and lets out a faint grumble. He had done little to take care of this place since he had been putting most of his focus on taking care of the village and building up some form of combative force to fight any threats to his new village. For a moment Yuki thought perhaps he should take a little time and put it into his house though as he hears Battousai speak up he pushes the thought aside as he hears him speak up. Shifting his attention to Battousai, Yuki gives a faint nod to his sensei, " Thank you sensei and I appreciate it. " Yuki says to his sensei before he shifts his attention from Battousai and to Kalvin, " You spoke of an Alliance before, might you speak more of that or is there something else you wish to start with? " Yuki asks as he watches the male.

Then men seem somewhat understanding of the condition of the main house due to the circumstances, but Battousai did think about the fact that Yuki’s main house might need a room simply for diplomatic purposes. It was a bit awkward since they didn’t have something like a meeting table or pillows meant for sitting, but a standing meeting wouldn’t be that bad so long as it was inside. The group of men would follow Yuki into the main room and thus it seemed as if business would be immediately moved into. While Yuki spoke, Jyn would go and fetch someone from the village to tell them that their lord required that food was to be prepared. The door to the house would close behind him, leaving the men there, as Jyn would seek out the first woman whom he came across (to be RP’d by Rune).

Standing in the circle of men, Battousai would nod accepting Yuki’s words and remain silent for now. Having been spoken to, Kalvin, nods and begins, “I know that we are strangers and have just met, but I would like for us to be on good terms. We can respect your power, even as a small force. As separate entities, we can be attacked and damaged one by one, but together we become a stronger and more invincible force. We have a couple other villages that we are allied with, and on their behalf as well we come to greet you and offer you friendship. There is also a creed of shared resources, but such things are to be expected to allow things to run smoothly, you understand?”

Moving down the street came two women, one carrying a basket of various vegetables while another had some bread. As the two moved down the street towards Jyn they talked between each other not paying much attention to the male.

Inside the house with the others Yuki would keep his gaze set upon Kalvin after he had asked the male a question, waiting to see what the male wanted. As Kalvin begins to speak Yuki starts to listen to the male and begin to think over what he is saying. At first Yuki thought perhaps this was somewhat of a threat from the male, however he had not come under the guise of war instead seeking peace with the half-breed and his village. At the moment the one thing Yuki wasn't to keen on was the idea of shearing resources since right now he had to devote everything he had to getting his village back in order, though the offer from the male sounded good. Perhaps an alliance with them would be a good thing for his village and the villagers. Even with this in mind though Yuki felt he needed to think upon it and talk with sensei about it to see what he had to say in the matter. " .. I do understand how such a thing would allow everything to run smoothly. However, what type of resources are we talking about? " Yuki asks before glancing to Battousai for a brief moment before turning his gaze back to Kalvin.

EXP: 268

Jyn would notice the two females coming his way and smile happily thinking himself in luck since they already had food with them. He rubs his hands together and then approaches them casually from the side as he speaks, “excuse me, ladies…” It was then that he realized that Yuki didn’t have an official title! He couldn’t simply just say ‘Yuki needs you’ due to the fact that first names would be too informal. On top of that, he didn’t know if Yuki was even doing the last name thing. With some swift mental thinking, he comes up with, “Village Chief Yuki…” yeah, that would work for now, “… is meeting with diplomats from another village, so we’re going to need some food and drinks prepared. This is a direct order from him…” Jyn hoped that would be good enough to get the job done.

Kalvin did visually react to how he assumed Yuki was taking the information. Battousai leans over and murmurs to Yuki in a voice only they could hear with their increased hearing to always carry and agreeable face unless insulted; this way allies or enemies wouldn’t be able to read what he was thinking. That would be all that Battousai would say for the time being and it would be done in a manner as if he were commenting on the proposal or what Yuki was saying. After hearing the question, Kalvin would clarify, “nothing great, I assure you. It would be useful for us all to be in trade and benefit each other. Where one village is lacking, another can pick up. If you have people in our lands, they will stay as if our citizens and we would expect the same thing. If bandits come to stack, we may require your forces and vice versa. As your village leader, you will be given a seat in our Alliance Council that rules over the alliance.”

Battousai’s reactions would be hidden by the mask that covered the bottom portion of his face, so since his expression rarely changed, it would be difficult to read how he felt about the man’s words. Still, he would allow Yuki to handle things on his own unless his opinion was asked or he felt the need to intercede.

When the two hear Jyn speak up, addressing them, they stop and look to him both wondering why he had stopped them. " Yes? " the one holding the bread says as she looks at Jyn. As Jyn begins to speak again the two listen to him as he informs them that 'Village Chief Yuki' is meeting with some diplomats and has requested food and drink for the meeting. Once Jyn finishes speaking the two women glance at each other before turning there attention back to Jyn and bow there heads. " Alright, please tell Village Chief Yuki that we will have food for the meeting right away, where shall we bring it? " The women with the bread asks as she looks at Jyn.

Having finished speaking Yuki thinks upon what his sensei had told him about carrying an agreeable face unless he has been insulted to keep both friend and foe from reading his reactions to them. Yuki took the advaice from his sensei to heart and makes a mental note to thank his sensei when all this buisness is taken care of. As Kalvin begins to answer his questions Yuki again listens to the male as he starts to tell him what kind of resources they would expect. As he listens to Kalvin Yuki thinks upon what he is saying, a trade rout between the villages sounded as though it would a good thing to help financially. Even the idea of staying in the other villages as citizens, should the need arise, sounded good to him. Though as he listened Yuki tried to do as his sensei had told him and keep an agree able face about his visage while he thought upon what Kalvin is saying. " I see. " Yuki says with a light murmur once Kalvin had finished speaking, " And when would you need an answer from me on this matter? " He asks Kalvin, thinking he may need to dwell upon this choice and talk with his sensei about it before coming to a decision.

EXP: 360 / 1766

Jyn seemed to have a bit of success. When they asked where it needed to be brought, Jyn would turn his side to them and lift an arm to point to where the food needed to be taken too. With that, he would say, “right there, you’ll find him and several other men from another village.” After that, Jyn would remain where he was for the moment to watch the women walk off when they eventually moved, so he could get a good look at their rear ends in the process.

After the male’s words, one of the men with Kalvin would complain, “are you looking down on our offer?” There is a comment in the back mistaking Yuki’s caution with arrogance as he should leap to this opportunity. Another male murmurs out loud in questioning the strength of Yuki and a village of women. Their words would test Yuki’s composure, but their leader Kalvin would turn around to give a stern look at the distasteful men to quiet their mumblings for the time being. If given the opportunity, Kalvin would explain, “we are going to be neighbors, and it looks as if your village will grow and prosper. Therefore, it’s safe to say that neither of us is going anywhere soon. We would like you to be one of us… if something were to happen to your village, you wouldn’t have our protection.”

After the question the woman keeps her gaze set upon Jyn as he points off at a house before speaking. As he speaks she gives a faint nod as she turns her attention back to Jyn, " Aright. " she says with a soft smile. " Tell Village Chief Yuki that we will be there wit his food shortly. " She adds before the two bow there heads. After bowing there heads the two turn away from Jyn and begin to walk away. As they walk away one of the women notice Jyn watching them and once she notices she comments to the other women and they begin to move there rears erotically for the male.

When he hears the male speak up Yuki glances to him for a brief moment as he thinks upon what he had to say. Turning his gaze from the male Yuki looks back to Kalvin as he hears the next comment questioning his strength and that of his village females. As he trys to keep from letting his anger take hold Yuki grits his teeth at the males comments as he holds back his anger. As Kalvin begins to speak Yuki does not stop the male, giving him a chance to speak up, perhaps even analogize for his men's comments. Once Kalvin had finished speaking Yuki finally lets forth a light growl as he looks at the male, " I hope that is not a threat on your part my friend. " Yuki comments as he brings a hand up and reaches out with it to lightly grasp Kalvin by the shoulder, " Fighting is something I am accustom too, you could even go so far as to call it my profession. So if something where to happen to my village I know I could protect it even if you are unable to offer assistance, which is alright I understand, however I shall offer my military support should you need it in the future. "

EXP: 334 / 2100

With the movement’s a goofy grin would be on Jyn’s face before he pulls his gaze from the derrieres and back to the place of meeting. With that, he would make his way back to let the guys know that food was coming and would be delivered shortly.

Inside, Kalvin’s gaze shifts to the hand that is placed on his shoulder before he looks back at Yuki. The others are surprised that this person whom they already didn’t like was making such informal gestures to their leader, but the leader seems to allow it to the point where they are kept at bay. When the words come that Yuki would help them even if they didn’t offer the same help, the leader is somewhat caught off guard and sees the words as being earnest and honest. Battousai would make a comment to comment about the growl later, but for the change in pace of the conversation, he was well pleased with his Yuki put it.

Around this time, Jyn would be coming into the room. Motioning behind him with his thumbs as he enters, attention is gained as he comments, “oy, we’ve got food, drink, and women on the way.” With the promise of this, the men seemed to be less focused on not liking Yuki and more focused on the food and ladies that were arriving. In seeing the change in demeanor, Battousai picks up on how they could use the beautiful women of the village as a weapon of diplomacy against men from other villages. It would be another point he would discuss later with Yuki regardless to whether that discussion was actually RP’d out or not. After making his announcement, Jyn would have saw that everyone was standing up. Thus he would make his way into the kitchen area and pull a table from it and then into the room where they were standing, moving between them, casually speaking, “excuse me… watch it big guy, coming through…” After bringing in the table, he would go on the hunt for some chairs and start bringing them in one at a time. Unable to watch a man do all the work himself, two of the other village males would help him in bringing in chairs for everyone. While this was going on, Battousai would then comment in a murmur to Yuki, “when you feel the need to growl, smile instead. This will throw off your opponent in times of diplomacy. You are doing good. These woman may be very useful in your future diplomatic meetings…”

As Jyn comes back into the house Yuki shifts his gaze for a moment to look at his companion as he speaks. It seemed Jyn had managed to get drink, food, and women for them which was rather nice to hear perhaps that would help with negotiations though Yuki wondered about the women since they were from his village. Shifting his attention from his companion Yuki looks back to Kalvin as he withdraws his hand from the male's shoulder and lets it fall back to his side. When Jyn begins to bring a table into the room Yuki glances to him for a moment and raises an eye brow as he watches his companion. Yuki made a mental note to thank his companion at some point after this was taken care of for the help he is offering right now. When he hears Battousai speak up, Yuki glances to him for a moment and gives a faint nod of acknowledgement to his comment as he realizes he had let his growl slip and that probably let on that he was not pleased with something Kalvin had said. With this in mind Yuki knew that next time the male said something or anyone said something he didn't like he should try and simple smile when he is trying to be diplomatic.

A soft knock came from the door that Jyn had came through and should someone move to open it, behind the door would be three women, one holding a pitcher with some sort of drink in it, probably alcoholic, along with mugs, while the other two each had a platter one with bread and some fruits on it and the other had a few different types of cooked and dried meats, pork, beef, and chicken. If they are allowed they will make there way into the room and begin to set up the food and drink on the table for the men.

EXP: 333

The rest of the evening would go well as the men would simmer down being invited to eat with Yuki, his sensei and friend. It seemed like the gesture of good will as well as the agreement to assist the alliance, even if they didn’t join, resounded well with the men. There would be no further altercations. Jyn, much like the other men from the village, would enjoy himself eating, flirting with and watching the women. During this time, Battousai felt a bit better about leaving Yuki on his own for the span of time that he had to take in order to finish his personal business. He felt that Yuki was showing signs of growth in a positive direction. With males he seemed to be much better than with women, or rather particular women. Battousai would get to the bottom of that later, but for now, he was happy that some progress was being made. There had to be a reason somewhere, but he didn’t believe that Yuki was beyond saving. After the food was had and the men were bid a farewell to their own village, it would be late into the night. Standing at the edge of the village, Battousai would stand with his arms folded as he watched the men leave, seeing the party of men off. Jyn would be inside of the main house playing drunk and passed out with a satisfied grin on his face, more so for show than a physical possibility since he wasn’t housed in a ‘real’ body at the moment.

With the arrival of the food Yuki would sit down with the men and enjoy a nice meal along with the diplomatic matters at hand. In the end Yuki decided it might be best for his village that he join this alliance though being the male that he is he felt he could defend his village with out the aid of the other villages but even with that he decided to join the alliance with the other villages. As the meeting draws to an end Yuki felt it best for him to see the men off since he is the leader of his village. Standing next to Battousai Yuki watches the Kalvin and the others as they leave, watching the men Yuki draws in a deep breath and lets it out with a sigh of relief as he lets his shoulders go lax as he begins to relax. " I guess that went well, what do you think sensei? " Yuki asks as he glances to the male standing next to him before turning his gaze back towards the group of men, " I hope I did the right thing with that.... Perhaps I should have taken time to think about it? " Yuki asks, doubting his decision now.

EXP: 207

Looking at the backs of the men who were walking away into the darkness, Battousai would make the comment, “the wrong rule the weak… as we spoke before, the strong are charged to protect the weak, this can only be done through ruling. There will come a time when everything shall even itself out. You haven’t done anything permanent to regret.” With that, the sensei would return to being quite before he would turn around and begin walking back in the direction of the main house. There were things in store for the village here, but it would all come with time. Things were falling into place for future events, but for right now, everything was simply ‘fine.’ Battousai holds up his hand and Jyn’s body begins to glow and turns back into a sword. The sword, turns into energy and returns to his hand before he sheathes it to his side and then informs, “rest well tonight Yuki. I am going to my place to rest. Jyn will be arriving in my departure.” By that, he simply meant that he would be swapping out the use of the body with Jyn. With that, he would wait upon any further questions that Yuki may have before retiring for the night.

As his sensei begins to speak Yuki listens to him while gazing off into the destance. While listening to his sensei Yuki things over his words of senseiey wisdom. If he is the strong, then is it his duty to protect those who are weak and cannot protect themselves? Is he really to rule over them and keep them safe.. While thinking over what his sensei had said Yuki remains silent though when his sensei begins to move back to the village Yuki turns and follows after him, his mind still going over what his sensei had said. Following after his sensei Yuki slowly shifts his gaze about his village before turning his gaze back to Battoausi as he speaks once again. Listening to his sensei Yuki gives a faint nod, " Alright sensei. I shall do my best to lead and protect the weak. " Yuki says with another nod to his sensei, " Rest well to sensei. " he would add before making his way from the male and heading back to his house. He had a lot to think on and to even do with the village and now he had entered into an alliance with other villages, but for now the half-breed planed to rest for the night.
