Sitting atop a rock, Yuki slowly shifts his gaze across the forest for a brief moment before he turns his attention away from the woods and looks back down to the large blade resting in his lap. Picking the blade back up from his lap with one hand, Yuki reaches next to him and grabs the sharping stone he had gathered before he begins to run it along the edge of the blade to work on sharping the weapon. With his gaze set upon the colossal blade Yuki slowly runs the sharping stone along one side of the blade a few times before he shifts to the other side of the blade as he works on getting the blade as razor sharp as he could. As he works on sharping his sword the sun shines down upon him as it hangs high in the sky around what most would think of as lunch time, though the half-breed had yet to have anything to eat instead he worked on sharping his blade while in a world all his own. While the half-breed sat sharping his sword, a wolf lay next to him, its head resting on its paws, its eyes closed as it rested next to its master while he sharped his sword.

Within the confines of the hilly area, Battousai would have casually tracked Yuki to this spot. He had previously advised the former merc to be ready for training and the time for training had come about. Rays of light would generate to Yuki’s side about 5 feet or so away from the rock on which he was sitting. Battousai’s form would solidify out of the rays of light in his method of teleporting as if he had been ‘beamed down’ to that position. On arrival, Battousai would speak quickly and with purpose, “Yuki” in order to get his attention. The tone of his voice would be dull and solemn, trademarked of his to the point where Yuki should know it was him and there was no danger on his sudden arrival. Still, the purpose of the name mention was to get his attention so that he could inform, “it is time for your training to continue. Come…” The manner of training today would be a spar. Battousai would look about to see if there were a flat area that could be used for the casual exhibition, and in finding on, it assumes his attention until Yuki were to mobilize.

The wolf at the half-breed's side was the first to react to the sudden appearance of Battousai, its eyes opening as it lifts its head to look at the male as he suddenly appears out of the light. Though he notied a bit of the flash, Yuki keeps his attention set upon his blade as he continues to run the sharpening stone along the edge of the blade. Looking at Battousai, the wolf slowly shifts its gaze over the male before resting its head back onto its paws. When he hears his sensei's voice as he calls out to him. Lifting his gaze from his weapon Yuki looks to his sensei, his gaze shifting over the male for a moment before he brings it to rest on Battousai's face. Looking at his sensei Yuki wondered why the male had came to him, was he here to tell him that he would be leaving to travel more or is there some other business that needs to be taken care of? It isn't until his sensei informs him that it is time for them to train that Yuki understands why his sensei has shown up here. As his sensei informs him that it is time for them to train a grin begins to take form on the half-breeds face as he gives a faint nod to his sensei. The half-breed was almost exuberant and over taken by the idea of getting to fight with his sensei once again since it had been so long since they last had trained together. Setting the sharping stone down Yuki raises to his feet and jumps down from the stone he had been sitting on and stabs one end of his blade into the ground, " Just swords? Nothing else or am I able to use everything with in my power? " Yuki asks as he glances to his sensei for a brief moment as he pulls his coat off and tosses it onto the rock. Only a few paces away from them sat a good flat price of earth that would be perfect for a spar.

“Fundamentals,” the sensei would inform the student clarifying, “everything comes from the basics. I must assure you have solidified those and they will naturally increase your other abilities…” With that, Battousai would motion for Yuki to approach him and would hold out his arms to indicate to Yuki, “hold your arms out and approach me.” While waiting for Yuki to come to him, he would explain the main rule of the spar, “…you will fail this test if you transform.” His words are very resolute and firm; he doesn’t make it known that his true intentions were more of an internal training than an external one. He cared about Yuki’s soul as well as his strength; as a being of light, Battousai knew that the bulk of his transformational powers came from the light. With that as a basic known then it was common sense that Yuki’s dark powers would be amplified by the darkness, thus allowing him to rely or readily go into his transformation would be like encouraging his descent into darkness. On top of that, he would be focusing on making the spar frustrating for Yuki to make him fight the urge to transform.

After the last training session, Yuki should know that no training with Battousai was ever orthodox or easy. When Yuki made his way before Battousai, the samurai would hold out his hands to the half-bred wolf and murmur a series of light incantations beneath the mask that covered the bottom portion of his face. As he did this, light would swirl around Yuki and form a protective chest plate on him, followed by shoulder guards and greaves, gauntlets, and so on until his body was fully covered in the armor of light (Ken Plus, OBC+ 4, +5 density). With a second incantation of the spell, the armor would have weighted pockets and extra padding added to it, adding to its overall density and weight (Ken Plus, OBC+ 4, +5 density). After adding the weights to Yuki, Battousai would ask, “can you still move?”

As his sensei speaks and answers his question, Yuki gives a faint nod as he thinks over his sensei's answer of only the fundamentals. Reaching over to where he had stuck his blade, Yuki grabs one of the handles and pulls it from the ground before he moves over to where Battousai had come to stand. Coming to a stop in front of his sensei the half-breed stabs the tip of his blade back into the ground before he lifts his arms up and holds them out as his sensei had instructed, wondering what the male was planing to do. When his sensei informs him that transforming will cause him to fail a frown takes form on the half-breeds face as he thinks on the rule. As he thinks over the rule the half-breed cant help but let out a faint growl at the rule his sensei had set down for him, though he would do his best not to rely on his inner demons for aid and unleash the beast within him. With his gaze set upon his sensei, the half-breed listens as his sensei murmurs something, though he couldn't hear it to well but he comes to understand what his sensei is doing as lgiht begins to swirl around him, at first causing the half-breed to grow cautions and a bit angry at the action though as armor of light begins to take form on his person he starts to calm down and fully understand what his sensei was doing, or at least what the half-breed believes his sensei is doing. A soft frown takes form on the half-breeds visage as he looks at the armor his sensei had put on him, why was he putting armor on him, did his sensei think he couldn't handle any damage? As the second spell comes to manifest and cause more weight to be applied from the armor the half-breed lets out a light grumble. When his sensei inquires as to if he could move, the half-breed gives a faint nod as he shifts a bit, bringing an arm up to move it around some, " Yeah. I can move just fine. " the half-breed answers with a faint nod.

In a correction to the previously made post, Yuki would have a lower layer of armor on consisting of four parts all containing 5 density consisting of a top portion, helm, a bottom portion and arm coverings. The secondary layer would include three more additions to the original armor with shoulder and torso weights as well as leg weights as well. With a combined density of just over 30, Yuki’s movements untransformed would be reduced a category class.

The growl was ignored as Battousai was used to understanding that was the way the pup enjoyed to express his happiness. After Yuki confirms that he will move around fine, Battousai’s body turns as he walks away while explaining in his low tone, almost like a murmur, “training while restricted… will cause for you to hone your techniques. Your strength in your techniques will grow as well… perform techniques with the best form, the least effort, and the greatest efficiency.” To him, training wasn’t about who was stronger, but more about making Yuki stronger. With his personality type, Battousai simply assumed that Yuki would challenge him when the time for training had come to an end, since in his mind, the weak shouldn’t train the strong.

Stopping about five yards from Yuki, Battousai would turn and advise, “draw your sword. When I draw my sword, the battle will begin…” Looking to the side, Battousai holds his hand out and murmurs a light chant that generates an icon of light. This icon then morphs into the shape of a human revealing Jyn. In a human body of attire matching Battousai’s, Jyn looks around and then grins, looking over to Yuki while teasing, “looking good!” Battousai’s attention is on Jyn as he informs, “you will keep the time.” Jyn’s smile fades with the seriousness of Battousai and he frowns, “can I get a please…” Battousai ignores this and turns his attention back to Yuki, “thirty minutes…” Walking away from the general area to not be in the way, Jyn complains a bit about being manifested for such a boring task. “Well, I’m going to keep score too,” Jyn says before finding a place to turn around and stand. With his attention on Yuki, Battousai’s right hand comes to his side and grabs his sheath just below the hilt of his sword. His left hand crosses his body, his right thumb flicks the hilt and the sword slides smoothly from its sheath and in front of him as a standing side stance is set. * Battle Start *

The half-breed continues to shift in the armor his sensei had put on him, moving his arms and upper body to get a feel for all the weight that had been put upon him and the restrictions it would impose upon him in combat. It seemed his sensei was trying to burdon him with all this weight to help him grow stronger though to the half-breed it was more so to give his sensei an advantage over a student that has grown stronger then his teacher. Yuki keeps his gaze upon his sensei and listens to him as he begins to speak, still shifting in the armor. As his sensei makes a comment about drawing his sword Yuki glances to his blade as it rests in the ground next to him. As he looks at his sword the half-breed nods his head, his gaze remaining on his sword for a few brief moments before he hears a familiar voice and turns his attention. Turning his attention from his sword the half-breed looks to Jyn as he stands in person now, though such a thing was not possible since he shared a form with Battousai, was it? For a few moments the idea of having Jyn and Battousai perplexed the half-breed but finally realized how his sensei may have done such a thing. " Greetings Jyn. " Yuki murmurs to his companion with a faint smile before turning his attention to his sensei. As he turns his attnetion to Battousai Yuki lifts his head and shifts it to pop his neck, while his neck pops the half-breed lets out a faint growl before finally he stops and gazes over at his sensei. With his gaze set upon Battousai it slowly shifts into a glare as he brings his hand up and reaches out, taking hold of the colossal blade before he pulls it from the ground. Pulling the blade from the ground Yuki charged forwards, dashing straight for his sensei though as he rushes forwards he find he cannot move as fast as he should be going and as he realizes this he lets forth another growl. As he closes the gap between himself and Battousai, Yuki brings his blade up and spins it around above his head before gripping two of the weapons handles and bringing it down in front of him in a arcing slash going from upper right to the lower left, though he was not close enough to do damage to his sensei the attack slices through the air and lets forth a wolf like howl as a blast of unseen force rushes forwards and would strike Battousai if he didn't dodge, striking him with an abnormal level of power.

The weight upon Yuki would put him at the speed of a normal human (Average) with the dexterity of a dark demon (Strong). Battousai would find Yuki’s ability to move to be exceptional for the load that had been placed on the young man. The distance between the two would a good range for short projectiles range, and in the seconds it takes Yuki to cross the distance, Battousai watches his every movement and analyzes his movements. Being two classes faster and a class quicker than Yuki, the samurai is fine with the first attack and does not depart his side stance until the last moment. His eyes would lock on Yuki’s wrist as he solidifies his grasp on the sword indicating the way it would be slashed and as the blade moves down diagonally, Battousai would step forward and to the right side of Yuki. So as the blade comes down, Battousai would calmly slip around to Yuki’s side. The side step would only reach Yuki’s side, however, since the initial slash was made to be so shallow, instead of getting to Yuki’s rear. At the end of the slash, Battousai feels to his side the purpose for the shallowness as the ground would obviously be affected by the sheer force of the slash. The force along would be enough to caught his clothing to flap. In the back ground, Jyn would whistle at the slash’s strength. Battousai would not have expected for a single slash, or his opening slash, to be that strong, but with his minimal movements, he would hopefully show Yuki that strength wasn’t useful on its own.

Battousai’s sword, held in his left hand, twists making a clicking noise. It was held pointing diagonally down to the ground as it had been originally, only there was a clear and open path it could take that could strike across Yuki’s waist from front to back.

Positioning: Battousai front is facing Yuki. His right shoulder and Yuki’s back are facing the same way and his left shoulder and Yuki’s front are sharing a direction; his sword is in his left hand.

He knew he was slow moving into attack, however he did not expect his sensei to be faster then him right now but it seemed he had the advantage of mobility and speed as he evades the half-breeds attack, something that makes the half-breed let out a growl as he brought his sword down where his sensei had previously been. The half-breed shifts his gaze to the side to look at his sensei where he had moved to after evading his attack. He hard the sound of his sensei's sword as it clicked and he expected his sensei to strike, however he had not taken the chance and attacked, instead he seemed to beholding back, or at least this is what the half-breed thought the male is doing. With his gaze still upon his sensei, Yuki begins to shift and spin around as he brings his sword up, again going at his sensei with another attack held no special property to it as the last attack had done, instead the half-breed decided to lash out at his sensei with a simple horizontal slash through the air as he spins to face his sensei or at least face the direction his sensei is in. Since his sensei possessed superior speed compared to him the half-breed didn't expect to hit his sensei with such a simple attack.

Battousai’s red pupils would be on Yuki’s wrist and blade as he anticipated its arrival. Though he visually knew the strength of Yuki’s abilities, he would need to also know physically by understanding through his blade, thus the reason he had not attacked and baited a response from Yuki. As Yuki’s blade comes around in the horizontal slash, Battousai would lift his blade up and brace it with his free hand against the broad portion of the blade. There he would simply block the attack that comes in from Yuki. As he blocks his feet lift up from the air, skillfully, and he applies the block in a particular way where he blocks just above the slash. Unlike Yuki’s behemoth blade, Battousai didn’t consider his katana type a blade suitable for traditionally blocking. Battousai’s guard against the blade is flawless, but though he does not provide any backpressure against the attack. Therefore, Yuki’s swinging attack would perform the purpose of allowing Battousai to be thrown backwards by Yuki’s strength in a controlled manner so that the samurai did not actually have to physically put space between them; Yuki would do all the work it for him.

After blocking Yuki’s slash and being thrown in a short arc about ten or so feet, Battousai’s feet would once again touch the ground in a slightly crouched landing.

As he loosed his attack the half-breed though he was about to hit his sensei however proving to be faster and as if he knew what he was going to do, his sensei uses his blade to block his attack though the half-breed's strength behind the blow did not stop as he followed through with the attack but instead of damaging his sensei as he had hoped he ended up knocking his sensei into the air and away from him a few paces, effectively putting distance between them once again. The action's of his sensei angered the half-breed, he had yet to make a move to strike him nor had he been injured by any of his attacks instead he seamlessly evaded and blocked his attacks as if toying with him. Another growl escaped the half-breed as he gazed at his sensei where he had come to rest after blocking his blow. The half-breed growled angrily at his sensei as his grip on his blade tightened, " Why do you evade my blows sensei?! " the half-breed yells out as he again launches forwards into another attack. As he moves forwards into another attack the half-breed moves to close the gap between them as he brings his blade up and grabs it with his free hand, now holding it with both hands, before he brings it down slashing in a angled diagonal line once again trying to strike his sensei with a slash that should it hit would inflect a wound that would cause him to bleed.

Watching from the distance, Jyn would call towards the battlefield, “it’s no fun if I don’t have any points to count. Stop holding back, Battou.” Still, he knew better than anyone that sparring was one of the hardest things for Battousai to do for the simple fact that when he fought seriously, he sought to end battles fairly quickly. For spars that needed to be elongated for the purpose of training, Jyn knew that attacking was both difficult and awkward for the samurai who was still getting used to the sake of fighting for something other than survival. Folding his arms at his chest, Jyn would grin, “heh, but Yuki’s come a long way from the whip.”

After landing, Battousai would read that Yuki was becoming angered early on. Mentally, he thought over the fact that both Yuki’s youth and demonic spirit were probably the culprit for the passion that his feelings held. He admired the honesty Yuki had in his feelings, but knew that such brashness could lead to the degradation of his soul.

His sword would be in his left hand as Battousai would stand when Yuki rushes in with the slash; the single chant is lost under his mask (Ken Plus, OBC+1, Perfected). At the end of Battousai standing, he catches the downward crashing blade with his single right hand. The momentum of the slash causes his feet to imprint the rocky sandy earth below them, but as he had used much of his strength to catch it the blade, to his surprise it seemed lighter than he expected. Though not readily visible in the instant it was used, a thin layer of solidified light on his palm would protect his hand from the effects of the cut, which had originally been generated to buffer the strength he had expected of Yuki’s slash.

Thus, the slash is made and caught in Battousai’s right hand. With Yuki’s sword in his hand, light gleams from his own sword, reflecting the sky, a reminder that an opening was there. Without wincing or showing signs of a struggling with the sword on impact, Battousai would immediately answer, “your enemy will not always allow you to hit them. Fight calmly.” Without the need to chant, Battousai’s words would end with an unleashing of a Strong radial force utilized in order to push Yuki back (Ki Dispersal*, ERT+2, Perfected), kick up dust, and provide leverage as he released Yuki’s sword while still holding his ground.

As he came down with his blade he noticed his sensei was not moving to evade the attack so the half-breed grows hopeful that he will hit his sensei with his blade, however his sensei does something that the half-breed did not expect and used his hand to seem to block his blade and stop his attack from hitting him. The half-breeds gaze narrows as he begins to listen to his sensei as he starts to speak, though the half-breeds anger grew as his sensei seemed able to block his attack even though he thought that he possessed superior strength and power compared to his sensei. Though his sensei spoke of fighting calm the half-breed's anger grew since his sensei seemed able to block his attack. Before he can begin to push down on his blade in an attempt to overpower his sensei with his strength he is blasted by a strong force that pushes against his form. The half-breed lets out a growl as he is forced to step back, withdrawing his blade from his sensei's hand as he takes a few steps away from his sensei. Shifting, the half-breed takes another step back as he shifts his gaze over his sensei's form for a moment before bringing his gaze to lock upon his sensies, " Fight calmly? " The half-breed inquires as he looks at his snesei though fighting in such a way was not something the half-breed gave any thought to.

The dust settles a bit from the exert and Battousai’s hand, the one that had been holding Yuki’s sword, lowers to his side. As expected, the force didn’t throw Yuki back, but Battousai did notice that it made him step back at least. He assumed due to the fact that Yuki had all that weight on him, he would have an easier time staying grounded for powered attacks anyway. With a nod, Battousai would confirm, “yes.” His left hand lifts up holding his sword diagonally upwards across his body as he speaks, “if I attack you angrily, it doesn’t make me stronger. It hinders me and clouds my vision. The technique you performed now was very poor…” With that he would be referring to the Rending Slash that seemed only about twenty percent effective as it could have been. He questions, “I wonder could it have been better had you attacked with a clear mind.” As if to demonstrate this point, he would question, “that’s may be why I was able to block your attack so easily.” He would motion for Yuki to continue and instruct, “continue.”

Holding his ground the half-breed keeps his gaze set upon his sensei as he begins to speak. As he listens to his sensei the half-breed frowns at what his sensei had to say, to the half-breed anger was something he figured made him stronger. As his semsei makes the comment about his technique being poor the half-breed lets out a growl in responce to his sensei's comment about his technique. The half-breed reamins silent, aside from his growling, for the moment as he listens to his sensei as he continues speaking, questioning if the attack would have been better if his mind was clear rather then clouded by anger. The half-breed tightens his grip on his blade as his sensei continues speaking, still listening as his sensei continues speaking. Finally as his sensei motions him to continue and gives him the simple command the half-breed nods as a grin takes from on his face, " Gladly. " He says as he brings his blade up and holds it in front of him at the read. " Allow me to show you what my anger is for. " The half-breed says with a growl as he allows his rage to over take him causing him to slip into a feral rage before he would launch himself forwards once again though his speed still restricted by the weight of the armor that had been put on him. As he rushes straight for his sensei he brings his blade up above his head before he comes down with the colossal weapon, slashing at his sensei with a straight downward slash.

Yuki’s words allows Battousai to know that he was about to do something rash and fueled with emotion. As previously mentioned somewhere, Battousai did appreciate that Yuki was true to himself, though he wished his pupil would learn at least an admirable amount of composure. Already set in an adequate stance and seeing another rushing and downward slash coming his way, the samurai would judge the distance between them, the speed of Yuki’s approach and attack, and act accordingly. The technique would basically be a passing and ducking sword toss where Battousai should end up behind a flipped and grounded Yuki. Assuming the technique would be effective even if he weren’t currently greater in speed and agility as compared to Yuki, the samurai would perform this by suddenly moving low and towards Yuki during the wolf’s downward slash thus ducking under the sword while shifting past its effective useful range, pulling the broad side of his blade along his side to connect with Yuki’s shins, and pulling in an upwards and rotational manner aimed to send the rushing wolf flipping once and onto his back. In this, Battousai would judge that Yuki’s large weapon should work against him, since it should be hard to stop the things momentum while in mid swing, thus with the move from weapon melee range to normal melee range with his arms outstretched, it should prove to be awkward or hard to strike with a sword even when ready. If passing and scooping Yuki head over heels worked, Battousai’s stance would be facing Yuki from the opposite side as where he originally approached.

As he came down with his attack the half-breed lost sight of his sensei as he begins to shift and evade the attack, though Yuki was still fully committed to his attack even if his sensei had dodged it. However as he comes down with his attack after his sensei had dodged it, the half-breed finds himself being attacked by as his sensei retaliates. Unable to evade his sensei's counter attack the half-breed finds himself being sent for a loop. Unable to stop himself mid swing and the force behind his moving forwards Yuki is launched into the air and sent for a flip, his grip on his sword loosening as it falls from his to the ground along with the half-breed as he falls to the ground on his back. As he come to let on his back the half-breed lets out a groan of pain as he gazes up towards the sky for a moment before he begins to shift and glance around before setting his attention upon his sensei. Setting his gaze upon his sensei Yuki lets out a growl as his gaze narrows into a glare while he begins to raise back to his feet.

It was time to take things up a notch, and this was enabled by the fact that the attack connected and that everything went smoothly. As such Battousai would be standing over Yuki as previously described with one hand on his blade and the other hand free. With his stance already set, he would continue the fluid movements of his attack even while Yuki was in the process of standing up. The flipping counter wouldn’t go without any type of effect. The force of Yuki hitting the ground would be strong enough to reduce the overall density of the weighted armor worn on Yuki’s top and bottom by 1. In Battousai’s follow up move, he would basically perform something akin to a passing slash, where he would dash past Yuki at full speed while striking him in the chest and coming to a rest behind him. If this were to connect with no issues, then the armor on Yuki’s top would be reduced another point. If the passing slash connected, Battousai would end up with his back to Yuki at a distance of about five feet or so. Yuki would take no damage, but the light armor that bound his movements would begin to show signs of freeing up.

As he begins to rause to his feet Yuki notices his sensei as he begins to move once again coming at him. Before he can react and evade the incoming attack from his sensei Yuki is struck with the blade as his sensei rushes past him at full speed. The attack caused Yuki to fall back to the ground however as he felt of his chest he couldn't feel any where on the armor where his senseis attack ahd made it through though the armor seemed to be freeing up as it took more damage during the fight. With another growl the half-breed would begin to move again and raise to his feet to look to his sensei. Turning his gaze from his sensei, Yuki glances to the colossal blade that rests upon the ground and he gazes at it for a brief moment before turning his attention back to his sensei. Turning his gaze from his sensei the half-breed went for the weapon again and grasps it from the ground before he charges at his sensei. Moving upon his sensei Yuki launches into another attack, thrusting his blade forwards at his sensei in an attempt to strike him with a quick thrust.

Battousai would not move from his position with his back facing Yuki. After all, he could passively feel where Yuki was without the need to turn around and visually look at him. This would enable him to continue to respond to Yuki’s movements. It was at the peak of this thrust that the murmur would complete off of Battousai’s lips. The sword, as powerful as it were, would thrust through the position where Battousai had previously been. In a flash of light, Battousai would no longer be in front of Yuki, and furthermore wouldn’t be in his immediate field of view. The fact that he had teleported somewhere suggested the fact that he was once again launching some sort of counter. Since he wasn’t plainly visible, it could be assumed that Battousai had either teleported above Yuki and was coming down with an attack, or that he was immediately behind Yuki in his blind spot and possibly launching an attack from the rear. Battousai would be doing neither, however, as he would simply be standing about ten feet or so, having warped to Yuki’s rear. Battousai would wait for Yuki’s eyes to come upon him before asking, “is your vision still clouded?”

Since his sensei was not moving to evade his attack the half-breed thought that he was going to hit his sensei with the thrust, however as he comes in with the strike there is a flash of light and where his sensei once stood there is nothing there to take the strike from the half-breed's sword. His sensei had disappeared before taking the hit, effectively dodging another of his strikes. A growl escapes the half-breed as he begins to shift his gaze as he searches for his sensei. As he searches with his eyes he could sense his sensei behind him, however the rage that he had fallen into blinded him from coming to the realization that his sensei was standing behind him instead of moving to strike him as the half-breed thought. Since his sensei evaded another of his attacks the half-breed let out a faint growl before he heard his sensei speak behind him which keyed the half-breed in on his sensei's location. Quickly spinning around the half-breed brings his gaze to rest upon his sensei, " My vision is not clouded I can see you perfectly. " The half-breed said as he gazed upon his sensei, his grip of his blade tightening as he watches the male. " I thought we were just using our abilities with the sword to fight, not magic. "

Battousai clarifies in a calm tone, “fundamentals” though the practice was more for Yuki than himself. It was true that when they first started, Yuki was the one that asked sword only; those words never came from Battousai when explaining what they were doing in this spar. Still, he did realize that he called this a spar, and was partially annoyed that there were such things. He didn’t understand the concept of fighting with no intent to kill, but so long as Yuki held that intent, he figured the fight should go well enough. He explains, “your foot work should be a part of your sword play and it was not an attack.” There was a difference between the different types and usages of magic. Bringing offensive magic into the fray would weaken the effect of the sword training. According to the teacher, anyone could waste a mass of stamina throwing a ball of energy to explode in a wide radius, but Battousai favored the ways of dealing the same damage with less of a strain to the body.

Battousai would resume the battle quickly after his words. His body would lower and dash forwards as he would enter into Yuki’s weapon melee range with a simple horizontal slash aimed at chest height, taking a feint offensive for once.

As his sensei speaks Yuki listens and nods to the single word his sensei spoke, though at the moment it didn't clear up his wondering about using magic since his sensei had done so. Yuki continues to listen as his sensei goes on though this time bringing up his foot work and how it should be. As he listened Yuki figured that there was no magic to be used by him and he figured his sensei would go by the same rule, though he had already shown that he is willing to use his magic to evade the half-breeds attacks so the half-breed toyed with the idea of perhaps taking away his sensei's ability to use his magic. A grin flashed upon the half-breeds fast as he thought of this, however it quickly fades as he watches his sensei as he rushes forwards, this time it seemed his sensei was launching into an attack rather then waiting on him to attack. As his sensie comes in at him Yuki brings up his sword and grips the weapon with both hands as he holds it up to act as as shield against his sensei's attack. Holding his ground the half-breed uses his sword to block his sensei's attack and once he had blocked the attack he would immediately launch into a counter attack as he pushes against his sensei's blade with his own, putting his full strength behind his push as he trys to lash out with a vertical downward slash at his sensei.

Battousai’s blade meets with Yuki’s as the guard is place up, only the strike would be very light. In his counter, Yuki’s sword would have no problem pushing through in a downward arch, but as he did this, Battousai’s steps would cause him to rotate opposite the falling blade having used the force of Yuki’s block to push off and add momentum to this spin. Coming to Yuki’s side, Battousai’s blade would come around in a full arch and slash out horizontally across Yuki’s waist area. The light armor there would crack under the strike and free up Yuki a bit more with it having lost a bit more of its density. By the time the samurai’s slash is made, Yuki’s blade should be hitting and indenting the ground in front of him. Still, from the counter pressure he felt in the blade, he knew that wasn’t the strongest slash that Yuki had; it didn’t have near the force of his earlier slashes, though it was stronger than Battousai’s light slash. If he had attacked with his full strength, then that counter may not have been effective, which caused the samurai to wonder if Yuki were getting better at reading incoming attacks.

Following through with his counter attack after clashing swords with his sensei, the half-breed had loosed his attack though as he lashes out at his sensei with his attack the male uses the force behind his attack to aid him in his evasion of the attack he tired to hit his sensei with. As he came down with his blade and struck the ground with it, causing the ground to cave under the force of his attack the half-breed felt his sensei strike at him with his sword again, hitting him across the waist though like before the half-breed felt no true damage to his person thanks to the armor his sensei had put on him. A growl escaped the half-breed as he shifts his gaze to look to his sensei again. Lifting his blade from the ground the half-breed would not falter in his offense as he launches into another attack, though this time as he looses his blade at his sensie as he turns to face the male the half-breed attacks with a more vicious slash of his blade, now putting more of his power behind the attack then he had done last time in the hopes that perhaps he can still take his sensei down even if the male tried to block the attack.

After the pivoting slash, Battousai’s blade would be towards the same direction as Yuki’s since for the spinning slash, the blade would have had to come from Yukis’ back to his front. After the slash, the sensei hadn’t stopped in his onslaught. When Yuki’s sword breaks the ground, Battousai would lift his blade as well, pulling it up and in the same direction as Yuki’s to push its momentum up and towards the skies. Since he was simply redirecting Yuki’s slash, he felt that he didn’t need to block with the same strength. As their swords connect, red and orange sparks ignite from the point where Yuki’s much larger blade was being forced to slide across Battousai long and more slender sword. Using both hands and crouching in the blocking process, Battousai would basically ‘push’ the slash over him with the block and counter by slashing straight down across Yuki’s chest when, if connected, it would shatter the top later of Yuki’s protective armor, thus returning to him more of his speed and agility. If broken, the armor would cascade to Yuki’s feet much like shards of broken ice, only being consistent of light.

Lashing out at his sensei with his sword the half-breed makes contact, hitting his sensei's sword with his own when his sensei brings his sword up and as his sensei does so he follows through with his attack however as he strikes at his sensi with his sword his sensei counter's with his own maneuver and uses the momentum behind his attack to rout his slash and force it over him before he launches another attack. As his sensei attacks him again Yuki feels the strike across his chest though the armor helps to buffer the attack and keep the half-breed from taking any damage from his sensei's attack. Holding his ground with his back to his sensei, Yuki draws in a slow deep breath as the bits of armor begin to fall from his chest and to the ground. Thus far he had been unable to strike his sensei with any of his attacks and this angered the half-breed, however it seemed that his anger was not going to get him through this fight or help him in striking his sensei. With these thoughts in mind Yuki sought to clear his mind and try and calm himself as he turns to face his sensei. As he turns to face his sensei Yuki shifts his grip on his weapon, taking hold of the center handle as he again draws in a deep breath and holds it for a brief moment before exhaling again as he goes at his sensei again though this time with out charging straight in at the male. Moving in a more calm and controlled manner, Yuki thrusts out with his blade at his sensei and follows through as he shifts the blade, turning it so he slashes the lower half of the blade through the air.

Battousai would not move from the spot where he was in after slashing Yuki down his chest. He would ready his hands on his blade when the back was turned and the body was turned back around to perform the thrusting technique. At the point where Yuki would turn and thrust out at him, Battousai would see that he had calmed and as such would reciprocate the feelings in the lad’s sword with his own response. Though Yuki had calmed, the process of him calming had given his sensei enough time to channel energy into his blade. Holding his blade, Battousai swordsman spirit would exude from his body as a harsh wind, so that when Yuki came in for his thrust, he would be held back by it. The thrust should come up and approach right to Battousai’s chest before the force of his swordsman spirit should push Yuki back.

In the distance there comes a sound as Jyn calls out “hey!” while waiving his hands above his head. With his battle tunnel broken, Battousai immediately feels about a dozen or so unknown signatures within his range. If Yuki felt out, he should be able to feel it to as well as turn around to see a group of armed men standing over by Jyn. Battousai holds up a hand and orders, “Yuki, hold for now…”

Drawing in with his attack aimed at his sensei, Yuki notices the male does not evade the attack as he has done before on different ocasions though as he draws upon his sensei a wind begins to blow out from his sensei and as he goes to strike something stops him from hitting his sensei with his blade. As his blow is stopped Yuki lets out a faint growl as he pushes more behind his attack however as he tries to strike his sensei with his sword he is forced to take a few steps back as the wind blows against him, keeping him from hitting his sensei with his sword. The half-breed begin to grow a bit angry since he is still unable to hit his sensei however as he hears Jyn call out Yuki pauses for a moment wondering if the battle had come to an end. As he pauses Yuki begins to sense unknown spiritual signatures where he had last seen Jyn. As he begins to feel them Yuki shifts his attention to his companion and spots the group of armed men standing by Jyn. Seeing the men standing with his companion caused the half-breed to grow angry again though as he hears his orders form his sensei Yuki gives a faint nod as he lets out a growl, " Alright.. " The half-breed murmurs as he gazes at the men by Jyn.
