..Lethe, the Cryosamurai:
......From the time he was a young child Lethe had been trained in the ways of of the blade. Of course, as he grew older and his attunement for the magical arts manifested itself, he eventually turned his path and began to focus upon his magical abilities. Even still, he had a rather rigorous training throughout his life in the blade arts. The specifics of the training had to do with the katana, an eloquent and specially made blade in the Village of the Moon. It was those used by the samurai, an art that was taught to Lethe from that young age and incorporated in all of his trainings. So, in essence, he'd been a wielder of a katana his entire life.

That isn't to say he didn't take other interests when not with his teachers. In fact it was quite the contrary. When out of sight of his teachers and other students that were trained with him, Lethe became interested in other forms of weaponry. From the deadly scythe to the imposing greatswords of past. All of them had properties that separated them from the others, but none so more than the greatsword. The sheer size of the blade was an imposing sight to one's enemies, and it's weight and sheer force of it's blows was as deadly as they came. That is why he took a ... hobby, if you will, of the weapons.

Having become a full adult and a soldier in the village of the moon, Lethe now sought to expand his horizons in a sense. Today he was in the village market, specifically a man that was a traveling merchant that brought wares from all across the known world. Surely he'd have some weapons, and perhaps even a greatsword for purchase.

..Lethe, the Cryosamurai:
......There was a true hustle and bustle within the village today, as it was a beautiful day out and the day upon which outside merchants came to town was a small event for everyone here. Being a place that was relatively remote meant that outsiders coming was something that was at a premium. Lethe navigated through the crowd of people, all of them conversing with merchants or one another at the price of something, attempting to cut the best deal. Lethe wasn't exactly the best when it came to bartering, and often times was one to get taken for a ride so to speak.

......It didn't take him long to find the stand that held the man he was looking for, as a wide variety of weapons and armor from different areas were placed on display. A man that was there before him, who was now walking about, walked away with a blade of his own, remarking to himself the stinginess of the vendor. The young samurai went ahead with his business, approaching the man and inquiring about a rather magnificent greatsword along the side. It was about as tall as him and was obviously crafted by a fine blacksmith. The vendor took one look at Lethe and gave him a price. It wasn't a very flattering price, at any rate, since he'd heard an estimate of what these types of weaponry cost and it was lower than this.

......Still, Lethe just wanted the weapon, so he didn't fight to price, trading an equivalent amount of items to meet the man's demands. It was about a weeks worth of pay, but he hoped it'd be worth it. First thing tomorrow he'd begin honing his use of it.
