It was a particularly warm day in Onitoshi, as it always seemed to be. Paco would be making his rounds in the place that he didn’t necessarily wish to be, but happened to be anyways. Domen was off doing things in Terra and as such, Paco was left to watch over things in Onitoshi in the newly acquired Seat of Pride. Currently there were a lot of things going on in up building the area, though construction was slow. Still, there were the important parts that were there, including the Center of Pride which was the temple slash residence of Domen when he was in The Seat of Pride. The alter area served double as a throne room and there were various rooms built within it; also there were dwellings of sorts which consisted of what looked like several huts meshed together into living quarters in almost a horizontal apartment style that formed a circle around the Center of Pride. Each section held about twenty or so demonic denizens and thus far there were three of those types of compounds completed. Around the edges of the Center of Pride was the wall, currently under construction, a basic ten foot high barrier of stone that was meant more as an organizational piece than something to actually offer protection. It was the understanding that most things in Onitoshi could fly anyways, so walls were so much for defense as they were aesthetics.

These days down here, Paco would be wanting to meet up with the one named Jack; the original proprietor of this area, and hopefully today would be his lucky day and said demon would be in the under realm.

Things were making remarkable progress with the change in management, there was no damned doubt about that one . Jack would indeed be down here collecting materials for his research. Mainly, demons blood. Of course he wasn’t about to risk pissing off the new management by hunting on his territory. So it was simple enough just to go out into the null plains and catch himself a few good specimens to drain. With a few vials of blood in his pockets he would be heading back towards Pride’s Bastion if for no other reason than to check up on how things were going over there.

Again, he didn’t much care about how the place looked that much had been blatantly obvious when he had first handed everything over to the man/god. But by the looks of everything it had been a good move on his part. It had been some time since Onishtoshi had any real semblance of order, perhaps this Domen would be able to instill some within the Oni that lived here. Perhaps this place would be similar to the world above governed by rules laws, and sharing love and ide-

” Hahaha..yeah…right..”.

Yup,no chance in hell. Literally. Demons were naturally beings of chaos that resisted all forms of order. Well cept the order of power and fear, even then there was always going to be attempted subterfuge. Jack, well he simply had no interest in that kind of thing. Domen kept him happy enough by leaving him to his research.

The ground shakes violently, but then calms down in an event that had been occurring more and more recently in the past couple days. Paco pauses in walking for a moment to feel it out, but much like the aftershock that a place like Los Angeles would feel from time to time, it was passed off as simply ‘something the ground did.’ Since he wasn’t a resident of hell, Paco assumed if everyone else didn’t freak out, then it wasn’t anything to be worried about. That environmental change aside, it is noticed that something or someone was on its way to the village. Paco would look up and past where a gate probably would be in the future, to notice the figure of Jack approaching. “Oh joy!” he would squeal, since Domen’s will had provided the opportunity for him to interface with the demonic scientist where fate had failed. Thus, his attention and direction of walk would be towards Jack. He would come to pause at the entrance to Pride’s Bastion and await Jack’s arrival in a manner that suggested that he had either been waiting for, or expecting him. As always, the intimidating figure of Paco would be garbed in what looked like a school or boy sailor uniform, white with blue trim and gold accessories including his tie and belt. Though a fairy in nature, due to Domen’s ability to transform him, he would stand at an impressive five feet, towering above any ten year olds that may be in the vicinity.

Jack was fully aware that there were certain changes being made around this place that would warrant at least some attention from himself. Not much right enough but some, even if they only involved his base curiosity as to just what the fuck was going on. One of these things was waiting for him upon his arrival. It was some…boy….dressed in a….was that a sailors outfit? If Domen was starting to keep people like this around the new domain then there were entirely new questions being raised about the demonic lord and just what his….preferences were. Jack didn’t particularly look down on homosexuality, nor did he look down on pedophilia. Domen just didn’t quite strike him as the type when he arrived here. But maybe that was the point.

Perhaps the archdemon was trapped in some proverbial closet made of the bones of his enemies. Jack would approach Paco, stop for a moment, give him the awkward once over, then he would keep walking with little more than a ” Yo”. He decided that there was probably little to say from that one that Jack was going to enjoy. Memories flashed back to that little fire creature he had met in the underground whilst trying to get his replacement arm sorted out. Bad memories, urine drinking and anal rape.

A smile would come with the once over followed by a “top of the morning to ya” as Jack greeted him briefly and continued on. The manner in which Jack continued on almost made Paco forget that he had in fact been waiting on him. “Oh wait!” Paco would catch himself after Jack had taken a couple steps beyond him, “I was actually waiting for you…!” He moves around Jack to come back in front of him, or at least walk with him so that they could be facing one another to some extent. He would begin, “I’m Paco Luminous Equivikus Hernaditus Spartus, right hand to Master Domen, fairy commander and page of all trades!” In a showing of good humor, he would hold out his hand to shake with Jack, pegging him to be a pretty good guy since he was philanthropic enough to give away an entire domain.
