Among the lands, there were plenty of places to settle down at, thus Asei and Izumi would have their pick of various places. Due to how particular he was, Jyn didn’t want a place that was too big, but he also didn’t want to be in a tiny village. He knew that he wouldn’t be able to enjoy the luxuries he had previously with the apartment he stayed in, but he at least wanted someplace that was nice. Though Sanzon had spoke about working in and renewing the core district, Jyn had already heard the rumors and seen firsthand that the core was a dangerous place… not somewhere that he wanted to rest his head. Still, he wanted to be close enough that he could get to it if need be. Flying on the magical dragon mothered by Izumi, Jyn would have spotted Theden below at some point in time and made a mental reminder to come back and check out the village. Now that there was some time and they needed a permanent place to stay, he would return to Theden. It sat at the base of a mountain range, which was good since they had a dragon. From what he saw on TV previously, dragons didn’t do too well in villages, but they did pretty well in caverns in the mountain. Of course, Jyn and Izumi could live in the mountains with the dragon, but that would only be possible over Jyn’s dead body, since living in a cave wasn’t a good look, nor did he know if it were sanitary. Aside from that, as a growing dragon, ‘what’s its name’ would need its space so that it wouldn’t have its growth stunted by being wholly domesticated and pampered.
With that said, Jyn would find himself walking into Theden for the first time, reaching the gates. He needed to get information on the village and what he would have to do in order to get set up. He figured he might have to get something close to a job in the mean time, but he would take everything one thing at a time.
Ooc // Rune, I’m looking for you to kind of GM this and describe what’s in the village, or any NPCs that we may come across in order to find information about staying in Theden. I figure Yuki wouldn’t come out to settle in strangers unless that’s what you want him to do.

This world was surely and interesting place now. Simply because it has been reduced back to a time before technology had took place, though at the same time the technology is there, but the knowledge is forgotten. Thus because of this technology moved foreword in another direction where magic had taken over. It was like this anime where the worlds technology was based on magic instead of science. It was like that breaking moment in human history which would define how their lifestyle would turn if they looked to science or if they looked towards magic for their technology. This current world seems to have taken the travel that hadn't been taken before and that was magic.
I guess one could say it was kinda refreshing, one didn't have to worry about hiding their abilities anymore and pretend to just be a mere human. So it was a relief on Izumi, but it might have made things a little difficult for Asei. If she thought about it they just entered into a world that Asei wouldn't like, magic all around and spirits everyone like it's no one's business. She kinda felt bad for him, but she was happy that he was here with her and that she didn't wake up alone in this world. While it would have been nice for her, she just wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if he wasn't here with her. Though now in this current place in time they were considering places to make a permanent living and it seems that during their flight upon Rhapsody Asei had spotted a city known as Theden to check out. Izumi decided to come along with him because she wanted to see what this place was like as well. Rhapsody took hiding up in the mountain caves just fine and Izumi went along with Jyn into the city.

New to the Neighborhood
As the two newcomers reach the gate of the village the guards on duty at the time take note of the two arrivals. At the gate stand four guards on duty, each of the guards supported a suit of light armor and two carried swords while the other two carried spears. With the approach of the two, the four guards make no attempt to stop them from moving beyond and into the village. " Hail and greetings. " One of the guards says to the two. " Welcome to Theden travelers. " the guard adds to his greeting.
Leading through the gate and into the village was a dirt road and once the gate had been pasted moving into Theden, stone houses of various size could be seen lining the sides of the road, residence of the village. Some of the villages moved through the initial part of the street as they went about there daily business. Some of the villagers would take notice of the newcomers and greet them with nods, some even going as far as offering verbal greetings to the two. Not only did people move around but also children ran through the streets playing games and doing general children stuff.

The fact that they had security at the gates led Jyn to believe that his particular place at least had a good amount of security about it. With walls about and whatnot, it seemed less likely that they could be invaded by men or beast very easily. New to this world, Jyn didn’t know what to expect when it came to things like that, but he did appreciate security. As for his attire, Jyn would be garbed in what would be more normal for him, being in a pair of black slacks with matching boots and belt, similar to what he had in the Division and a black collared long sleeved shirt, untucked and with the sleeves rolled up to about his elbows. He would look casual for his time, but probably not for the current time he was in; still it was comfortable for him.
When the guards greet, Jyn would nod and lift a hand casually to them, speaking, “hail?” back to them, greeting them in the manner in which he had been greeted. Pausing at the front gates for a moment, Jyn would look to one of the guards and ask, “we’re looking for a place to live, or something like that. Is there a real estate building inside this village, or somewhere that you’d get information in getting a house?” Instead of trying to put it in terms he would have to guess at that they’d understand, he just decided to say it as he normally would to someone in his time, hoping that they could at least figure what he was saying.

Izumi shifted her gaze over at the guards and waved her hand at them saying her hello as well. Though she kept quiet as Asei pretty much asked what was needed to be found out. She just stood there looking pretty. her attire much similar to her gear back in the old world. A single dress with purple trim. bicep length fingerless gloves and thigh high boots. Her hair though was tied back into a large ponytail. She stood with her back straight her bosom snug in her outfit as her outfit fitted to her form. She stood to Asei's right as she looked at the guards awaiting their response. Hopefully they understood what Asei was asking for. It would be a bit annoying if it had to be explained in a different way. This place so far looked nice, Izumi soon shifted her eyes looking inside the village and taking in it's appearance and just taking in it's beauty that it held.

New to the Neighborhood
As the two came to a stop and the male spoke up, the guard that spoke up shifted his attention to the male as he offered the return greeting. The other three guards look to the two newcomers, all four taking note of how the two are dressed and how it didn't look the same as others they had seen before, though they make no mention of the attire the two wear. As the male brings up the fact that they are looking for a place to live and inquires about some strange sounding place, the guard that first spoke has a dumbfounded look upon his visage for a brief moment before he begins to speak, " I'm not sure what this real estate building you speak of is though if you are looking for a place to rest for the night, then I would recommend the Wolf Song Tavern. You can get a room for the night and it offers a place to get something to eat as well. Though if your looking for a more permanent residence here in Theden there is someone you can see, Eleris, he has been tasked with taking care of people who wish to take up permanent residence in Theden. " The guard says to the male, " You can find him towards the center of the village, he should be in the city hall right now. Its a large two story stone building. " the guard says as he gestures deeper into the village.

The dumbfounded look confirmed the fact that Jyn have my spoken over their heads. Luckily, the guards were pretty quick enough to know what he was trying to get at. When the mention of the tavern is made, Jyn’s gaze shifts down the main road that lead into the interior of the village; food would have been something else he was looking for as well as a place to use the restroom. It was his hope that they had at least developed toilets, since squatting in the forests was never a good look for him. The gaze returns to the guard. With the given name ‘Eleris’ Jyn would murmur it lightly just to make sure he had the pronunciation of it correct and to help him memorize it. A glance is given to Izumi, letting her know, she would probably have to maintain memory of the name since Jyn wasn’t always good with names. In his experience, women seemed to remember details like that better than men at times. With a nod to the guard, Jyn would appreciate, “thank you for that information… well then…” With that, he would begin walking away from the guards and making his way into the village. In entering, he would look about the village and offer to Izumi, “this place looks nice enough… and the guards seem pretty nice as well.” A glance would be given to her to check her response to the village to see if it were adequate for what she wanted. It was kind of strange trying to start over with a new life in a new time. Jyn would question, “so about this place we’re in… do you think it’s a parallel realm like the past realm was, or do you think this is it with our previous world?”

Eleris was the person they were searching for now, Izumi would keep it to memory as she looked at Asei with a smile and nodded. Notifying him that she would remember the name. Thinking about it though now that she had a change to let it process through. They were starting a new life together and they were choosing their new home together, thinking more and more on it her cheeks went red as she began to smile like a silly little school girl. They entered within the village and Izumi responded to Asei. "It look very nice and I love the mountain near by." Then came the question about the world. Izumi would shrug. "I honestly don't know. There is a variety of possibilities. From what we've seen so far it still looks like the world that we were once in with the past realm merging with our realm. Though...I'm not sure this world though seems to me like what our world would have looked like if magic prevailed instead of science."

With a sigh, Jyn would nod and agree with his gaze forwards and make the comment, “well, regardless, I suppose it is the right decision to get settled for now…” Speaking lightly as they continue the course through the streets, Jyn would comment, “I feel a bit anxious about settling down, however. I feel like I should be looking for a way to go back… but I don’t know if a way exists, or if I would even have the ability to go back. A lot of people we know from our time are here to… so that would suggest that we’re all in the same boat. We were stuck in the past realm for months before there was a way out, and we didn’t really have to look for it.” He would continue to take a few steps, “still, it may be good if all of us decide to stick around one another…” They had gotten separated from Tapp, the Priestess and the others. There is a pause in his speaking at that point as he continues walking.

"I guess that would be good, though that would mean we have to go out and search for them all and bring them together. Got to be honest most of the ones we've met possibly wouldn't be able to stand being around each other." the more she thought about it the more it worried her. She only laughed lightly and smiled. "It would be an interesting get together, but I am surprised how well you handled yourself around Sanzon. Normally I'd expect you to try and blow his face out." She would giggle and nudge Asei playfully.

Though he attempted to keep a straight face, a grin would pull at the edge of his lips for the tease he’s received. “Oh,” he would comment, “it’s not like that wasn’t the first reaction. Except that it seems in this backwards world that would be socially unacceptable.” Returning to a more serious tone, he would comment, “my entire purpose has been lost since the world he had envisioned has come to pass.” With a non interested shrug, he would pass it off as not being a big deal; he’d just have to find something new to give purpose to his life. There was no more Division to lead over and, “…aside from the demons holding the core, it seems like this world is pretty peaceful. There’re no corporations and crime syndicates fighting each other in the open with demons trying to blow up everything in sight… it might even be good to let the evil demons keep the core just to keep them away from everyone else…”

"Oh? Let them keep the core?" Izumi gave a nervous laugh. "I don't think that's a good idea. Remember what's located there." It was where a lot of human's main technology was, hell even the old division 12 was there as well. "How much of a problem would it be if they managed to get it working again." It was something she had thought of, though she crossed her arms. "Though the thought is nice...this peace." Izumi was never really comfortable with peace, it usually just meant to her that something bad was coming. The longer the peace the bigger the calamity, least its how she saw it.

“Hmm…” Jyn would murmur lightly. She did have a point, if the evil one were to gain intelligence enough to work the technology at the core, then it could get bad… but then again, Jyn didn’t know the capacity of the demons in the core and if they were anything other than feral creatures. Still, he could assume from knowing Sanzon and those affiliated with the Kami, that there were others out there that were spiritual but intelligent in their own rite. “I suppose you have a point,” Jyn agrees with Izumi’s words. As he continues walking, he sees what he thinks to be the tavern approaching. He pauses for a moment and then looks around, now near the center of the village. “City hall…” he murmurs, “would be a large two story building…” It was kind of amusing how two-stories was considered large… but they were in a ‘village’ after all. Spotting the building, Jyn would motion to it and proceed that way. With a small grin, Jyn would comment, “so this is the second time you’re moving into a place with me…”

Izumi knew just how smart spirits could be. They had just as much potential as any regular human would have with technology. Given enough time someone would figure it out and someday it would get bad. Izumi did'nt want to continue thinking about it though, it'd only worry her. For now it was thinking about finding a place to live with her man. Izumi blushed at his last comment and nodded shyly. "yes, so?" She nudged him again and then latched onto his arm. "At least this time we don't have a war stopping the complete move and we can relax for a while."

He looks at her long enough to catch the blush produced by the cute face and looks up as she clings onto him. Light heartedly he teased, “even though this is more of a move than last time… since you still had your own place and everything… now it’s just me, you and whatever place we find.” Still, Jyn was a little worried about the fact that he didn’t have a ‘job’ in this new world and he wasn’t all too sure how the money system worked. From what he could understand, they traded all kinds of junk that held some type of value, but to him it all seemed pretty much like stuff he would throw away on a normal basis. Then there were the pretty stones and rocks which seemed to make more sense to him. Regardless, whether or not he could get a job, his inclination as a man made him want to provide for Izumi and make sure that everything was okay between them. “Crap…” he comments, “that means I’m going to have to get a horse instead of a car… I wonder if they come in black with chrome hooves…”

She would giggle as she heard Asei talk about getting a horse in which she would comment. "Well there are black horses, but as for chrome hooves, I doubted. Better learn how to ride horse back from what I hear the stallions are the harder ones to tame." Least from what she heard as to whether it's a fact or not thats a totally different story. Though it would be interesting to see Asei riding a horse it's so different from what she was use to seeing him in his car. It was a bit nice though seeing Asei be all manly about this and seeing him do things by hand instead of through technology, this is aside from the fact that he wasn't all that good with technology to begin with. Izumi would smile as she looked up at Asei. "I love you."

Jyn pauses in his walking and looks to her with a concerned look on his face. She knew that he didn’t want to learn how to ride a horse… such a thing was so… bumpkin. As expected, it would take some getting used to this new world; he did not like it one bit. Still, even though he didn’t like it, he wouldn’t complain about it; if he were a man, there was nothing to do except to get it done and to do it properly, regardless of what ‘it’ was. If it meant riding a horse, then so be it; a horse couldn’t be any worst than a dragon. Her gaze and words cause him to smile softly as he looks to the side, a little embarrassed at that suddenly, but confirms, “and of course, I love you too.” He had picked up some trinkets from Acura that he was told could be used to barter, so since they hadn’t had breakfast yet, he would offer, “how about heading to the tavern before finding out house? Or would you rather find our house first and then grocery shop?” It was up to her; though one route offered instant gratification and the other would probably be a long process. Either way, both had to be done at some point in time.

Yes it was true that either way both of the things had to be done, but it had been quite a while since it had just been them two at dinner. The thought of it caused her heart to pump and beat quickly as she looked excitedly at Asei. "It has been quite sometime since just you and me had gotten to eat alone together." Since they came into this world they rarely had the chance to eat alone and eat with peace, since Rhapsody was usually always around, not that she minded. Some alone time was always nice to have. She would take advantage of this though, happily wanting to eat before anything else. "I would really like that."

“Then it’s settled,” Jyn would confirm, “to the tavern it is…” His gaze shifts from the two storied building to the Wolf Song Tavern. Jyn would remark, “I wonder how many stars it’s rated…” as he begins to make his way towards it, with Izumi on his arm. Remembering the days when they first got together, Jyn would comment, “though I doubt it’s as fancy as the restaurant where we had our first date.” Thinking back to it, it had been forbidden love at the time, since Jyn was technically spoken for. They had dinner after work and took a stroll to the park where they ended up doing a few indecent things. It was fun and exciting and one of the earlier romantic memories that Jyn had with Izumi.
Reaching the door, Jyn would hold it for Izumi and allow her to enter in first unless they were to go in together. In reaching the Wolf Song Tavern, Jyn would look about and see what type of place it was (i.e. Rune, you’re up again).

New to the Neighborhood
Upon entering the Wolf Song Tavern, patrons would be greeted by tables of various size that dot the area between the front door and the bar, along the wall to the left of the building rested booths that went along the wall for patrons to sit at while they enjoy food, drink, and conversation. On the right side of the tavern was a small stage that from time to time would be home to menstrual or some other form of entertainer that from time to time would perform in the Wolf Song Tavern for the patrons. The area for the patrons on the first floor concluded with the bar with a heavy set bartender standing behind the bar tending to the patrons and beyond the bar was the area of the workers that worked in the Wolf Song Tavern. Along with the stage on the right side of the tavern was the stairs that lead up to the second floor that held another portion of the dining area of the tavern but also held the rooms that the tavern had for patrons who wished to stay a night or two in the tavern.
With the entry of the two newcomers a few of the patrons stop what business or drink they where tending to look to the two that had just came into the establishment, one of the people in the tavern that look to the two that enter is the bartender and as he looks towards the two he gives a welcoming nod to the two. Though there are people in the tavern enjoying there time there are both tables and booths that are free for the two newcomers to take a seat at there choosing.

Who knew how many stars the place rated. It didn't matter to her honestly she just wanted to eat with Asei. It would be nice to eat together alone with him, so long as the food was good it didn't matter to her where they ate. Izumi's eyes looked around the place looking from left to right. "This place looks...nice.." It looked like these people at least knew of what they were doing when it came to setting up things in a building and furnishing it. It was like a typically old bar, maybe similar to how a old school diner was. A small smile creeped up on her lips as she would looked at the bartender and nodded her head as well. She looked around and then noticed a free table. "Let's sit over there hunny!" she said gleefully leading to the empty table along the wall to the left. Exp:166 | 1538

First Jyn’s gaze shifts about the bar before he catches the eye contact of the barkeeper who welcomes them with a nod. Jyn would return the nod to him before he hears Izumi’s choice in seating and obliges, following as she lead the way to the empty table along the left wall. On reaching the table, Jyn would get her seat for her and stand by it as she sat down, not really trying to be a gentleman, but more or less something he just normally did. Afterwards, he would take steps and take the seat adjacent to her. In sitting down, he would pull the seat up to the table a bit before sitting comfortably in it. “I guess things should work like regular,” he would assume as he looked around to see if there were a waitress around, though he wondered if he would have to order at the bar and bring the food to the table. Small cultural tidbits like this would have to be relearned as Jyn didn’t know exactly what to expect in this current world.
While sitting, Jyn assumed that they didn’t have the technology to make coffee. If such a thing were true, he figured he may have to see if he could recreate the magical brew and restore order to the world. Aside from that, he didn’t know what to expect as food, be it a large boar with an apple in its mouth or an overgrown grub steaming and plump. Moving back to a topic spoken on earlier, while they wait for a waitress or the bartender to motion to them, Jyn would comment, “it seemed like Sanzon was chummy with that large demon and a few of the others. I’m pretty sure he’ll end up finding me sometime soon since he wants me to go into the core with him to look at some of the old Division generators… if Michael was here…” His voice trails off as he remembered that there was no way that Michael would be in this world since he actually died before the red flash; it was a hard moment for him when that had occurred and the fourth friend he had lost in the ‘spiritual battle’ within the span of a couple years.

Izumi blushed when Asei held the chair for her, ah what a gentleman he was, even if he wasn't trying to. The act he did was very nice and not something all men would do. So it made Izumi blush as she took the seat. Finally they were seated, but it did come into question as to weather this would work like a regular food joint. Do they have waiters and waitresses or do they have to go up and make their order? It was annoying that things like this had to be relearned, but she figured that it couldn't be helped. She did agree to something in her mind, there would be some luxuries of the world she came from that she would miss. Looking to Asei as he began to talk about heading to the Core with Sanzon and that other demon he was getting chummy with. Well it's been like that for a while. Then Asei spoke about Micheal and Izumi frowned as she looked down at the table. "I'm sorry about Micheal, hunny." she started. "Well when you do go to the core hopefully you can get the generators working, if not you can always just tell me about it and I can try and figure something out." Izumi held many talents and she dabbled in many things, of course she didn't consider herself the best, but she did enough to get the job done. Exp: 255 | 1793

With a nod, Jyn’s gaze would continue to look to the bar keeper to see if he could get some eye contact going between the two. He would mention the same thing he had mentioned to Sanzon to Izumi in speaking, “I’m just afraid of what type of ‘culture shock’ it may bring if I go bringing energy to a world that seems like they’ve been getting along fine without it.” He wasn’t thinking about the fact that those magically inclined would start to decline, since the ease of electricity would take away some of the draw of using magic to do some things, but more so about the desire for a source of power and what it could do to the people here. With his former occupation, he generally looked towards the ‘worst thing that could happen’ scenario. Aside from that, he didn’t know how far and for how long he would be able to trust Sanzon. Just coming here and seeing him on good behavior wasn’t enough for Jyn to forget that Sanzon had, along with a certain fire demon, leveled an entire portion of the City Metro and caused various causalities in the process. With that power, Jyn felt that he was too much of a loose cannon, and even though Sanzon may not have the power he once had, Jyn knew that the Kami would do his best to regain that power… something that Jyn would never be able to do in a lifetime. Now that he no longer had the backing of the hundreds of dedicated men and women of the Division, Jyn knew that he was not nearly as ‘powerful’ as he had previously been.

New to the Neighborhood
The patrons of the tavern return to there buisness when the two begin to move towards an open table to take a seat. At first the two new comers are left alone at the table but after a few brief moments a young woman with curely brown hair wearing a simple dress with an aprin over it makes her way over to the table the two had taken a seat at. Making her way to the table the young woman shifts her gaze between the two, a soft smile upon her face as she begins to speak, " Hello and welcome to the Wolf Song Tavern. " she begins, greeting the two new comers in a cheerful manner, " Could I intrest you in a drink? " the young brown haird woman asks as she shifts her gaze from Jyn to Izumi, addressing the two of them with her question, " We have water, fresh milk, honey mead, ale, as well as juices. " With the question imposed upon the two the brown haired woman falls silent as she waits for an answer, giving the two time to decide on what drinks they would like.

That is true it could be too much of a culture shock for the people of this time to have, but at the same time it was something extremely dangerous if either side figured out how it worked. It was only a matter of time before someone figured it out. If it wasn't Asei, then who could it be? Personally she rather have someone like Asei use it as least it won't be used for destructive purposes. Izumi smiled softly and nodded in agreement. "I can agree right there, but also you could just keep the technology for yourself or make a small village with it. You don't necessarily have to show it to the world." Would be interesting if Asei got interested in becoming a mayor of his own town. Soon a waitress had arrived and Izumi looked at her and head her asking for drinks. Of the selection's she asked Izumi would just respond with. "I would like some water please."

She brought up a point foreign to Jyn. Though he had led an organization, he had never thought about leading a village or something like that. To him, that would embark upon politics and things that he tried to shy away from while in the capacity of the commissioner. In the Division, he was given a title that came with authority; here, such authority would have to be earned differently. Jyn didn’t figure himself too savvy when it came to talking to others; life was simpler when he was following and giving orders. Now, if he were making an organization that so happened to have a village based around it, that could be something he would naturally feel more comfortable organizing. As for something as volatile and dangerous as energy, Jyn did agree that someone like him would be best to watch over it to assure it didn’t get into the wrong hands.
His quest to make eye contact with the bartender had come to an end as a female would approach the table. Jyn’s attention would shift to the kind lady who makes her approach and greeting. “Thank you,” he would respond to the greeting; as for drinks, as always, Izumi would be free to choose for herself what she would be drinking. He would mimic her request with, “just water for me.” He didn’t know if water was free here, but he wasn’t too big on drinking alcohol. Jyn would continue, “we’re relatively new here. Can you just let me know how the transactions work here in advance?”

New to the Neighborhood
As Izumi speaks first, the waitress shifts her attention to Izumi and gives a faint nod at the drink request Izumi had made. With Izumi's answer the waitress shifts her attention to Jyn, for a brief moment waiting for him to answer before he begins to answer. With Jyn's answer to her question, the waitress again gives a faint nod though before she can depart from the table Jyn continues to speak, keeping her attention set upon him. For a moment after Jyn had asked his question the waitress remains silent before finally speaking up, " Since you are new here I wouldn't expect you to have any of the new coins we use, which isn't a problem we still accept various items of value as payment for food and drink, though water is free. " She says with a faint nod while looking at Jyn, " Is there anything else I can help you with? " the waitress asks while looking down at Jyn, remaining at the table to see if he still needed her help with questions.

Oh they use coins? This was interesting it seems like this place might be advancing pretty quickly in the ecomonic state. Izumi looked at Asei and only smiled sweetly as she looked at the waitress and then around the bar as she was waiting for Asei to finish dealing with the waitress. It would be interesting thing though to start a village, though really looking at Asei and from the way he handled the organization. He would definetly hate having to deal with paperwork and trivial matters that you didn't shoot it to solve it.

“Ah,” Jyn would remark in response to the waitress’s information. A glance is given to Izumi with a raised eyebrow as they seemed to be thinking the same thing. Allowing her current departure, Jyn would advise that there was nothing else that he needed and would wait for the water to come. As previously mentioned, he had a few trading items from Acura that he hoped would be enough to cover whatever ‘bill’ they would be stuck with after dining at this establishment. Returning his conversational attention to Izumi, Jyn would speak, “to think that they picked up their own coinage…” It was archaic when compared to something like debits and credits, which Jyn was used to using, but still a step in the right direction. In his time, Jyn never really dealt with physical money as he normally just used electronic money out of his account. “…that’s refreshing,” he would conclude wondering what these coins looked like. Moving the subject to their living arrangements, Jyn would ask Izumi, “so what type of house would you like to get…?” They had their view of the housing and building structures on the way in; it all seemed a bit old fashioned, or something that people would buy in a place like Gunshyne Bastion.

With Jyn not needing any further information the waitress gives a nod as she turns and begins to move away from the table. Moving away from the table the waitress makes her way back to the bar and delivers the drink order of the two newcomers to the bartender who begins to prepare the two drinks. Once the bartender finished filling two mugs with water he hands them off to the waitress. With a mug in each hand the waitress moves from the bar and makes her way back over to the table that Jyn and Izumi had taken a seat at. As she comes to the table the waitress sets a mug down in front of the two, " Here you go. " She says with a soft smile as she sets the mugs down, " Is there anything else I can get you two? " the waitress asks as she glances between Jyn and Izumi.

She would nod when Asei mentioned about the coinage that this place had. It was indeed of a surprise compare to everywhere else any their barter system. Then he had asked her about what kind of home she had wanted. Izumi didn't really think about that, but given that she asked she would respond. "umm...I'm not sure, I like something with a view of the sunrise." a smiled followed after that. Then the waitress had returned with their water. Izumi grabbed a mug and took a drink before the waitress asked what else they wanted. "What do you have for food here?" it was a simple question as she didn't know if these people had menu's.

“Hmm…” Jyn would understand, “a view of the sunrise…” That would probably indicate a house with multiple stories or something in the outskirts of town. He figured the gentlemen who they would be meeting up with, the male whose name he already forgot but knew Izumi would remember, would probably assist in their choice of housing. That was, of course, if it wasn’t something like assigned housing, where you’re put in a house. He would also have to figure out how to afford rent on a house, if such a thing existed here, or he would need the coinage or junkage to outright buy the house. He figured there was probably something he could do around the village as a ‘job’ but then again, all of that would probably be looked into when it came up.
When the waitress returned, Jyn would be on accord with Izumi’s question, not knowing what they would be serving here, so instead of co signing or speaking the same thing, he would just wait to see of the waitress had any house specials she wanted to describe for them, or a run down of the menu. Jyn was in the mood for a hamburger, but figured that would probably be stretching it in this current place. He figured the closest thing would probably be a steak set between two pieces of bread. As a former cop, however, he would sorely miss donuts… and the quickie marts from which they came.

New to the Neighborhood
As Izumi speaks up the waitress glances to her as she inquires about the food they have. With the question about the food they serve from Izumi, the waitress begins to speak, " We have an assortment of meats; beef, pork, chicken, fish, duck, dear, rabbit. We have some dried and salted or you can get some cooked. We have beef stew, pork stew, chicken soup. Bread as well as fruits and greens. " The waitress says as she looks down at the two, " Would you two like me to come back in a few moments to give you some time to decide? "

The selection was rather nice there was a variety of meats to choose from and they even had stews. Not bad of a selection for the world behind in the state that it's in. Thinking back about her time before the dawn how much more of a selection there is. This really just simplified it down. Izumi would smile though the sound of a stew right now sounded so delicious. "I would like beef stew and an apple, oh and a loaf of bread, please." She already passed along her order, she looked over to Asei to see if he was going to order or if he needed more time.

While the lady was talking, Jyn realized that he hadn’t ventured too far out side of beef save for when they had been in the past realm. At that time, he had eaten boar and rabbit and found that he actually liked rabbit to some extent that he would try it again in the future. The fact that he was hungry made the menu seem that much more appetizing to Jyn. After Izumi makes her order, Jyn would lift his voice and speak, “I’ll try the cooked rabbit with bread and a side of greens…” He attempts to get as balanced a meal as possible with his order; he was hoping for a bit more variety on the vegetable side, but since greens were leafy, they’d probably help with any future bowl movements he would have. He would give the waitress time to dismiss herself before turning his attention to the water that had been brought. His hand would come to the cup and he would drink some. All water aside from what the city produced seemed to have a different and more ‘natural’ taste to it, according to Jyn. Since the city probably had some type of process they put their water through, he figured such a thing was only natural. After a nice gulp, the water would be placed back down and he would turn his attention back to Izumi as they would wait for the food to be cooked and such. During this period, he would just enjoy his time with her not feeling an impulsive need to fill the silence unnaturally. He felt just as comfortable saying nothing around Izumi as he did in speaking to her.

Though the waitress offered to give them some time to choose what they would like to eat she found that the two had already made up there mind as Izumi begins to speak with what she would like to eat. As Izumi speaks the waitress listens to her order and when Izumi finishes speaking the waitress gives a faint nod as she turns her gaze to Jyn as he begins to tell her what he would like to eat. These silent moments are just as important as the moments when either one is talking. It shows how comfortable they are with one another to simply just enjoy the others presence. Izumi couldn't stop smiling though as she was quite happy about being able to have a private meal with her love. It was nice and it was needed from time to time, some nice and simple alone time. Where they could just ignore all their problems and just focus on each other. It didn't matter that they were in a different world from their own, it didn't matter if there was a war going on. None of it matters, but this very specific moment in time. She loved those moments and cherished them dearly.

During this time of quiet, Jyn would be his usual self. Since he had a cup of water before him, he would hold the cup between his index finger and thumb with it tilted towards him as he looks down into it. He inspects to see if there are any specs of floating artifacts, not because he doesn’t trust the water, just that he figured it came from a well or something like that. In thinking about it, the meat that they would be eating probably came from ‘out back’ or something to that nature. Jyn wouldn’t be too haughty, since he had to eat food a certain way in the past realm, but those were just some of the wandering thoughts that rummaged through his head as he look about his surroundings and such. Looking up, he would notice Izumi’s constant smile, which would unconsciously cause him to smile in return before catching himself and keeping a pretty much normal face with a light connotation.
“You’re cute,” he’d tease in his own way about how carefree she seemed to be at the moment. It was as if they weren’t thrust into a post apocalyptic world where all they knew was lost. He would sigh and unconsciously drift in thought to the fact that he would have to meet up with Sanzon sooner or later since he had gone and given his word. He was looking forward to it kind of like looking forward to going to the dentist, and with that trailed through, he remembered that he would probably have to barter for, make, or find a toothbrush. Not having teeth wasn’t a good look for him. Pulling himself out of his own thoughts again, he ventures to Izumi, “...what are you thinking about?” He figured it was a good question to ask a girl; he had seen it on a movie that one time.

She stared at him when he called her cute and her cheeks went red as she shyly looked down to her cup. She grasped it with both of her hands and took a swig of her water. She still had a smile on ater she took a swig and placed her cup directly in front of her and kept her hands upon her cup. She looked at him when he asked what she was thinking. She looked off to the side first and then looked back at him. "Just thinking about how nice this is being able to go out and spend some alone time with you. That we will be having our own place hopefully soon. It just makes me forget that we aren't in the world we use to belong too. That none of what could become problems matters right now that it's just you and me right now."

“Ah, is that so,” Jyn would answer back, happiness apparently in his visage as he seemed to be enjoying her as well. Though it was an inconvenience, this new world did offer a lot of things that may work out beneficially for them. Jyn didn’t have to worry about the prospect of Izumi becoming a huge actress and model and one day being pulled away from him by her fans and work. He also didn’t think he would have to worry too much about the family history restoration of her clan that she had been attempting before the world shifted in this manner. There was the prospect that he and Izumi could just lead normal lives with one another, free from the complications of the city and Jyn’s job. Jyn’s arm shifts to put his elbow on the table and his fist rests against the side of his face as he looks to the side and teases in an offhanded manner, “I guess since we’re finally getting settled, I can knock you up and start raising a family…” The statement wasn’t serious, but just something to attempt to make her blush more. He didn’t know what type of father he would be, but if Rhapsody was any indication of how he would be, he knew that he needed work in that department. “No girls, though,” he decrees, “I think I can only deal with having boys.”

New to the Neighborhood
Making her way from the bar the waitress that had taken there order shifts past some tables as she makes her way back to the table holding a wooden tray with there order on it. As she comes to the table the waitress sets down a pitcher of water followed by the wooden tray she had been carrying. Once she had the wooden tray set on the table she begins to set out the dishes the two had ordered, " Sorry about the wait. " She says, offering an apology to the two, " Here is your food and would you like a refill? " she asks as she sets the bowl of beef stew in front of Izumi before shifting and setting the plate of cooked rabbit and greens in front of Jyn. Once she had the two dishes set out she sets out another plate between the two that contained a loaf of sliced bread for the two as well as the apple Izumi had ordered, " I hope you enjoy the food. " She says with a smile.

Izumi was a bit surprised about proclaiming about settling down and starting a family. Her face went red as she stared a bit surprised by his comment. That was when the waitress came back with their order in which the waitress's voice snapped her out of her state of disbelief. Izumi turned her head away and covered her mouth with the inside of her elbow as she coughed into it. Izumi then patted her chest as she gave her thanks to the waitress and then looked at Jyn. "That's quite the statement, hun. With all the thing's going on I never considered such a thing."

Looking up to the waitress, Asei would nod and speak, “yes, thank you” while removing his hand from the glass so that she would be able to fill it for him. His gaze shifts to the food that was presented to them. Asei looked after the beef stew that was presented to Izumi before looking at the cooked rabbit that was set before him. For someone who hadn’t really eaten out in a while, it smelled delicious and he was ready to dig in. With a soft returned smile, Jyn would speak again, “thank you.” After the waitress leaves, Jyn’s attention would return solely to Izumi. He found her to be awfully cute when blushing and caught off guard, but then again, he had made his comments with this reaction in mind. Looking to the side of his plate, he would locate and pick up the utensils that they used to eat. It seemed that they had found the same utensils that his people used in the ‘past’ and repurposed them for what they were supposed to be used for. Of course with signs in restaurants of people eating, Asei figured it would be pretty easy to put one and two together and understand what spoons, forks and chopsticks were for. Lifting a fork and a knife, he begins to cut into the soft tender rabbit that was placed before him while speaking, “oh? Never considered such a thing…? I wonder how serious you’ve been about me all this time…”

With all the food set on the table for the two the waitress gives a faint nod at Jyn's desire to have his drink refilled. Taking the pitcher of water the waitress tips it up and pours the water into Jyn's cup, filling it back up. With the food set out before the two and Jyn's drink taken are of the waitress excuses herself from the table, leaving the two to there meal and talk while she goes back to her duties in the tavern.

She felt rather insulted when Asei stated that he wondered just how serious she was about him. Her eyes narrowed as she threw sharp glares at him and her cheeks huffed up. Though she didn't comment fearing that she would say something that she didn't want to, but instead just started eatting her beef stew. After spoonfuls in she finally spoke. "Well excuse me for being busy tending after you, filling out your paperwork, organizing your schedule, tending to my own job as well." thinking about it before she was quite being working part-time as a secretary and full-time as an actress. Thankfully she had the ability to teleport back then it made moving from one place to another much easier. Who knows where she would have been now if she hadn't known those skills. Though now she had to relearn her abilities all over again, It shouldn't be all that hard the knowledge is there, just the reactivation of her skills needed to be unlocked. Lots of spells and powers she had from her physical abilities right down to her magical ones. She had a lot to practice, but at least now the worry on it wasn't so bad that she didn't feel the need that she had to rush.

Opps. It seemed that was the wrong thing to say. Jyn would see the reaction to his teasing jab, but hope that things would blow over well. He would watch as she went to eating and would proceed in eating as well. While eating he hears her words after a moment, which causes a grin to come to his lips. After swallowing rabbit meat, he licks his lips and then answers, “ah… you’re excused” to which he almost smiles before correcting, “…I mean, yes, dear.” With that, he would continue with eating for a moment.
From there he wouldn’t tease her anymore. Of course, he would response if she were to talk. Through this time he would proceed in completing the course of his meal. The fact that he was hungry was evident in the fact that he finished off his plate. Everything that had been brought out was finished off as well as half of the cup of water that had been refilled. After the meal, the next social experiment would come, which would be paying for the food. Jyn would wait for the waitress to return before proceeding through the rigmarole of using items to pay for food and services. He would also inquire once more about the correct location to seek for lodging just to make sure he remembered what the guard said correctly as well as the gentlemen’s name that they would be looking for.

That aside they had a pleasant meal. She was quite happy with eating with Asei and wasn't even concerned about having a conversation while they ate. It was just so pleasant to eat alone with him finally that it didn't matter if they spoke or not. Izumi, like Asei, finished her meal completely as she too was hungry. When he inquired about where they had to go Izumi would remind him. "Toward's the center of the village is City hall, we want to speak with Eleris." for now though it was the issue of paying for the meal, she wondered how they would go about doing that as she herself never really done any bartering in person as she had always delt with cash or debit as oppose to actually trading items. So this would be a fun learning experience.
