Memories moved rampant in the mind of the bastard child. How she had gotten to this point in her life? Simply put, her father had been his usual demonic self and went on a sex spree. But Kichi was the one left to hold the shame and convictions of the tribe. The only problem was, the tribe didn't know, just her adoptive mother. The matriarch had killed her mother upon her birth and took her to her own breast. But from that point on, she was secondary to her half sister. She was trapped in a prison made from the sins of her father. At an early age, she had learned to remain still and quiet, lest the matriarch's hand find her cheek. As it had done a few nights ago. She had allowed her sister to follow her and now she was paying the price.
It could have been worse, failure was not tolerated in the clan, but she had succeeded at her mission. So that had lessened the punishment, from being reduce to nothing more than a brood mare for the males, to just having to survive on her own, without the aid of the clan until she completed a special mission. It wouldn't be the first time for the young woman. So she had been given an difficult task, to bring back a hair from the tail of a lion. Easy if you were near the desert, but without horse or supplies, it made things difficult. Kichi had her weapon and that was it. And her looks of course. So walking was the only option until she could get better equipment.
This was not the worse of what happened to the young Shinobi, but something more sinister loomed. Her second night heading south, she had been overtaken by bandits. She had been stripped of weapon and her clothing torn. Trussed up like a calf ready for the slaughter, she was thrown next to a tree with a group of other people. Some with collars, others with shackles. It had been a wonderful realization, she had be caught by slavers. At least one of them was missing an eye thanks to her, and second would need to learn to regrow his fingers. Kichi had received a few solid kicks from the six of them after finally being subdued. When morning had come, she was tossed in a cart and off they went, traveling northward.
Two days later, she was close to home and as they rode through the plains where the clan had been encamped, it had been moved. Life just got a little more difficult. Tonight they were tied to the cart as the bandits sat around the fire, calling watches. When it was finally decided between the six of them that two would stay up together. They made their beds and four slept on. That was when the worse came, one of the two came and collected one of the women. Her sounds were muffled by the gag in her mouth as they took their fun. Kichi could only look away. She was no blushing virgin, but she did not wish for them to notice her. After they were finished with the woman, they placed her tied, back to the cart. Her soft sobbing could be heard as well as their discussion on where to sell the new slaves and make a quick buck.

Into this sad story, a hero would arrive, or rather an opportunist and avenger who would have no issues with playing the part of hero if it were flattering to him. Without expanding much upon his back story, he exists present day as a wandering mercenary. A month or so before this particular day, he would have already come to make the acquaintance of the men who currently comprised the group of bandits who now made their camp at this place in this night. At the time of the past meeting where he met them, his services had been requested and a deal was struck. On his end, he had made good on what was requested of him. The issue of conflict came in when this certain main had come to said bandits to collect on his services rendered. What was performed was not important as it, in context, was tawdry and of questionable content, but what was important was the fact that they seemed to vanish on him, taking his cut with them. After about a month of tracking, he was finally back to collect the debt that was owed to him.
“Four men sleep, two fucking…” he would observe with a grin while ducking in the tall grasses of the wilderness that existed outside of the camp. A curved sword was sheathed at his waist with its bottom half resting on the ground due to the manner of his crouching. A large straw hat covered his head with a long blade of grass being held between the corners of his lips. A very patient man, he knew that approaching them that close to the base and the sleeping bodies would be risky, so he would take his time in finding the right opportunity to make his move.

A little time passed as those two settled down and the next two came up for watch. This was the hardest time to keep watch since it was halfway through the night. But those two, instead of watching like they shold have been, were passing a bottle between the two of them.
Kichi on the other hand, was busy twisting her wrists for the past few hours, causing a thin coat of blood to slick up the ropes that bound her hands behind her back. Twisting and turning until finally she was able to move her hands a bit better. With that, she began blindly searching for a rock behind her back. Little did anyone know what lay out in the grasses waiting and watching, such were the idiots that watched the camp. Slender fingers finally reached and found a small rock. Feeling it in her hand, she flicked it upright in between the bonds and began to slowly saw away at the ropes. She leaned against the wagon, her head down, pretending to sleep as her hands worked. From under the black tresses that fell in front of her face, those red eyes watched them for any sign the two bandits had seen what she was up to. So far so good.
The two getting drunk, finally did glance over to the cart. And Kichi stopped her work, remaining still as the night itself. Their eyes finally went back to each other as they laughed softly and continued their drinking. The young woman continued her work. If all remained the same, in about ten minutes of hard work and concentration, a sudden give way of the ropes, was the only sign that Kichi needed. She was free. But they still had her sword. In fact the drunk Moron on the left was wearing the katana on his hip. The raven haired beauty, kept her hands behind her back and her head down, waiting for the right time to bolt.

Patient as a vulture, the wandering swordsman in the straw hat would wait in the bushes, resting and reserving his energy. Of course fatigue and boredom would come to visit him, but staying focused to the art of his task, he would continue to wait and get a good lay of the area of which the camp were comprised. During his stakeout, he would also notice Kichi among the other enslaved individuals. He smirks as he notices what the other bandits did not seem to.
While the men were drinking and getting drunk, Takeo would finally begin to make his move. His body would move slowly, inch by inch at an agonizingly slow pace to cross the distance between him and the encamped men without making a sound. Downwind, any scent of him would be masked with the sounds of the night cloaking his movements. The single fire would reserve itself to light mostly the area about the camp, meaning that Takeo would have to emerge from darkness when he made his move. His goal was to kill them, of course, but they had to know who would be the one doing the killing. Just killing them would not be enough. Even with the jump on them, he knew he would have to act fact… killing them one by one would probably prove to be easier.
Reaching near the edge of the camp, Takeo’s hand would stroll about the ground, where he would find a nice sized rock. With a swift movement, the rock is silently chucked to the other side of the camp where it makes a rustling sound within the grass. The thought was that the sound would invoke a natural interest to it. Either way, from behind, Takeo would slide smoothly out of the grasses and pull his blade from his sheath and attempt to slide it cleanly through the left arm of the man who would be on the right, regardless to whether he stood at the audible stimulus or remained standing. To the other, he would pull the hilt of his sword up with the movement of his first slash and seek to bash the butt of the sword into the forehead, eye, or nose of the assumed drunken male who would be on the left.

The rock sailed over to the other side of the camp. The noise of it hitting the ground had both men standing. When Takeo appeared behind them and sliced through the right one's left arm. The man on the left turned and drew the Katana right before getting smashed in the face. His nose broken and spewing blood with a sickening crunch. He dropped his weapon and clutched at his nose, the same way the man on the right was howling in pain and kneeling on the ground, blood spurting from the severed limb. The four others stood and were slowly to go for weapons.
Kichi glanced at the area for a moment and tensed her muscles for the push up and vault towards the two me. The second that she saw the man appear behind the two and slash through the first one's arm, cutting it clean off, she bolted upright. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth, the young woman threw her hands out in front of her, the blood caked on her wrists and let the rock fly through the air. By some sheer luck, it missed Takeo and just as one of the others stood, it smacked him in the forehead and he went down in a crumpled mass. That made 3 of the men unharmed and searching for weapons.
Kichi ran towards the fray, and just as Takeo would make his next move, whatever it was. She would either slids under his arm low enough or around him fast enough that he would miss her and hit his target. It was almost like their moves had been staged. On the way by, she picked her katana off the ground with the fluid grace of a dancer. A shout went up as the men found their own weapons and began to start towards the man in the straw hat.

After bashing the man in the face and sending him kneeling to the ground, Takeo would only hesitate for a moment to notice the non threatening movement of the female assistant. He continues his movement as she passes by him, bringing his blade down and into the right shoulder of the downed man making that arm useless. He wouldn’t waste any time to allow the two nearest him to do something silly like seek their weapons. Lifting his foot, he kicks it into the face of the man and slides his blade clean from the male’s flesh, pulling it free while pushing the man back as he turns around and slashes the leg of the first male he had attacked, looking to slice through it while pivoting to see one of the other men had already been hit with a rock leaving pretty much just that one guy as the immediate threat. The male who was hit with the rock would end up being the secondary target in his mind since Takeo would assume the two currently bleeding wouldn’t be much help for the next couple of seconds.
His head would be partially tilted down with the brim of the straw hat casting a shadow over his face. Tilting his head up, a grinning visage welcomes the other two men who were objectives one and two as he speaks, “hey… you happened to skip town without paying me. As it stands now, I think you’ve about half way finished in paying off your debt.”

Screams of pain, gurgles of blood soaked throats, limbs laying on the grounds, and blood everywhere accompanied the man's movements. The one that had grabbed his weapon, gave an unmanly squeal and took off running away in a coward like way, dropping his sword on the way. The other two still unharmed, saw their leader take off like a coward in the night. Looking between their three dying, bloody mess of partners, and their fleeing leader, they dropped everything and followed suit. Hoping to get away from the blood thirsty monster that they had double crossed.
Kichi looked at the three fleeing, then at the man in the straw hat. Apparently they had some unfinished business among them. The leader, she had a bit of revenge to see dished out. Leaning down, she picked up another rock, hefted it, and took aim. A quick throw had the rock sailing through the air and slamming into the back of the leader's skull. He crumpled to the ground. Bringing her arm back, she dusted off her tattered clothing. Glancing silently over to the straw hat, she shrugged and started to walk towards the leader. He could go after the other two to finish them off. She had a few kicks to deliver to the asshole that had beaten the shit out of her. The leader was the one wearing the eye patch. An eye for an eye kind of thing. She took his eye in the struggle, but he had left her bruised and bloody.
The black haired woman stalked the one eyed leader as he was trying to sit up. A vicious kick was aimed to that very same head, sending him back to the ground. She would keep him occupied while Takeo took out the other two.

“Heh,” Takeo would emit as he saw the response to his arrival. Since one without a leg was pretty much stuck where he was, but two took on running. The one closest to him would get his attention first. Since all threats were now reset, their priority would come in their distance from him. Taking a swift step forward and in a single swift movement, chasing the man who had previously had his shoulder cleaved, Takeo rushes behind him and takes him down slash at his back. “I didn’t tell you that you could run,” he would speak before realizing that the girl was already on the leader. Since the men had seen Takeo and knew why they were dying, he now had the green light to take them out. The slash to the back was aimed to bring the man to his knees where as Takeo would change the direction of his sword and bring it to the man’s neck, thus cleaving his head almost off his body and ending that man’s life. He would then casually walk back over the one legged man and look down at him without an ounce of mercy. With a swift downward jut, he would thrust the blade in his hands into the heart of the fallen man before looking up to the third. The fourth, the leader, would be accounted for with the young lady who had given chase. Not really hasty, Takeo knew he had all night to track the third as he attempts to get away. “Run run little mouse,” he would murmur, “the cat will be after you shortly.”

There was a lot of anger in the usually calm Kichi. A lot of anger that was taken out on the prone form of the leader, who was trying in vain to defend himself from her vicious kicks. The young woman did not speak, she just laid into him and poured onto him the sum of all of her hatred. The bruised cheek, the broken rib, every pain that him and his men had suffered on her. She just continued to kick at him. Eventually through luck, he caught her foot and pulled her down to the ground with him. There was tussle, Kichi's knee made it to his groin. A howl of pain rent the still of the night. that was soon followed by the sound of a sickening pop, and a yelp from the girl. Her shoulder rested out of place from the pull of the leader.
Somewhere during the tussle, the katana had fallen to the side. Kichi reached for it at the same time the leader did. Another struggle ensued, with Kichi on her belly, the leader on her back. Somehow, through luck or something else, the woman had the hilt of the weapon, slid it from the sheath and slammed it backwards point up, in a effort to harm the man. Something wet dripped down onto her back, it was warm and heavy. Blood, a squishy sound was made as she pulled the weapon free and a lifeless body piled on top of her. Tears of pain filled her eyes as she lay there under the heavy weight.
As for the number three, he was trying to run for dear life and out run death. Looking behind him he yelled, "Asshole, you will pay for all of this." The others were dead or taking their last breath. All that was left was this last little bandit.

“Oh…?” Takeo would grin as he watches the man run into the night. He was going to have fun stalking this prey, but before that, his gaze shifts to the woman who had helped him fight off the bandits. He would then look back to the people who were still locked up and probably wanting to get free of their binds. He looks back to the man running and gives a soft “tsk” as he moves over to the warrior girl for a moment to make sure she was okay.
Moving over to Kichi in a casual manner, the samurai would place his foot on the lifeless body that was on top of her and would push it off and over onto its back as he could see that she had managed to kill the leader. “Not bad,” he would congratulate before inquiring, “It’s crazy to run and attack a man, you know. You’ve got some balls. Are you hurt anywhere?”

Kichi felt the body roll of her and she rolled over the opposite way to her side. Wincing in pain, she glanced at the man standing over her. Her shoulder throbbed as she tried to sit up. Finally getting into a sitting position, she looked off at the fleeing man, "aren't you going to go after him? I'll handle them." She completely ignored his question of being alright and slowly stood, her right arm clutched to her chest as she moved towards the rest of the slaves. "Thank you" she glanced over her shoulder at him, a brief smile coming over her bruised face. Hopefully the man would be back, but if not, that was up to him. She was free and she would free the others. Then she would handle her injuries. The wanderer obviously had pressing business in killing all of them.
The woman moved over to the others and began to try to undo their bonds one handed. After the first one was free, it was easier and she just sat down against a rock and watched them. She was tired, exhausted, and in pain.

“Tough girl,” Takeo would notice as she moves past him. The thanks would be the dull reward for a happenstance hero in this situation. A smirk would come along the samurai’s lips. She seemed like a strong person, so he knew that things would be fine from here on out for the people she was with. With that in mind, he slash his blade to the side cleaning it of the blood that was slowly dripping down it before raising it up and guiding it to the hole in his sheath before allowing it to slide in until it met with the hilt. Folding his arms into his sleeves, he turns, shifting his gaze away from the people being rescued to the direction that the man had run. Taking a casual pace, Takeo would begin walking into the night. The man would get tired eventually… or hopefully he would, but Takeo wasn’t in a rush to expend his energy chasing him. He had tracked the bandits for the last month; allowing this one to gain a day or so on him wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world, though it would be unlikely as the man would probably need to rest before the morning came.

...Later.....
Kichi rode in the front of the wagon, her arm in a sling, the bruises on her face slowly fading, but still harsh in the morning light. The beauty of the black haired girl, was still evident under the multicolored marks. One of the men in the group had pulled her shoulder back into place and used scraps to bind her ribs and sling her arm. The riding was causing her to wince in pain. She was dressed in tatters of her former clothing, with the weapon laid across her lap as one of the men drove the cart. The wagon was pulled by an ox that slowly plodded along.
The only reason why Kichi was currently traveling with these people was safety in numbers. Not to protect them, but so that they could protect her. Her mind was fuzzy as they continued on. The only thing on her mind besides survival was the fighter from a night or two ago. She had failed to thank him properly, but at the time she had been trying not to show how her should had been injured. Softly and unconsciously she stroked her sword. The man had been good with a sword. A style like her own only like a mirror. Strange, would their paths cross again?

A man would appear in the distance which would be decreasing bit by bit as the wagon moved on and as he walked. It seemed as if his path would cross with the wagon. It was a single male with white hair dressed in the casual clothing of khaki short pants and a white tee shirt with relic symbols on it that seemed as if it were being worn over light body padding. On his arms would be a pair of gauntlets. From his belt, two swords would hang on one side with pouches for items and a drinking jug on the other.
Jyn would be murmuring lightly to himself at his dismay for Yuki not coming with him for this particular marketing of his village. Battousai had gotten onto him about going out to promote the village, but when he went to get Yuki to come with him, he found out that the wolf had gone to some place called Inaniz or something to that effect. Either way, Jyn had went about an hour or two out of his way to go to Theden, only to turn around and head back south of Jun’Jo.
Curious looks are given to the convoy as it comes within visible range. She saw a cute girl, but there seemed to be something just a little off with her face and her arm seemed to be wounded. The group didn’t seem like bandits, though, so as they neared, if he were allowed to come within range of them, he would lift a hand and greet, “good day.” He would wait for some type of response, hopefully positive before going into his sales pitch for the village of Jun’Jo.

As Kichi caught sight of the man walking towards them, her hand gripped the weapon in her lap. Good damn thing she as left handed as her right one was resting in the sling. He looked like warrior, but Kichi knew she would not stand a chance in a fight at the moment. The least she could hope for was to occupy him long enough that the others could flee. Did she care about them fleeing, only for the point that they didn't deserve to be slaughtered. Kichi had a fighting spirit, but it was being sorely tested of late. When the man finally drew close enough that he began speaking, the woman's thumb caressed the hilt, pushing up and popping just the first inch free from the sheath. Just in case.
Her voice was husky from the stress and pain, But she answered for the group. "Greetings." the ox was slowed to a stop as the group of would be slaves looked at the man. Kichi studied him for a moment. His white hair and his handsome features. He was trouble with a capital T. "What might we do for you. sir?"

Having been given the time of day, Jyn would emit a jovial smile and begin, “I’m promoting my village…” It would be around that time that he would have a look at the people who the current caravan seemed to be comprised of. The woman who spoke seemed injured and those with her were half starved and dressed as if they were slaves or something. Asking a group of strangers if they were alright seemed a bit dumb, so Jyn would simply continue, “um… but yeah… there’s a growing village north of here called Jun’Jo. Our village is open to new residents who want to live honest lives, we’ve got plenty of work available and… we have a hospital as well, in case you need one.” Jyn was almost unsure about speaking to this particular group since they seemed a little hostile. But after giving his spill, he would say, “but even if you just need to restock up on supplies, you should check it out. Tell your friends!” With that, he would be finished and his non verbal cues would suggest that was all he had to say unless anyone asked him anything in regards to what he had said or further interacted with him.

The weapon was pushed back into the sheath, he was not here to fight, which was a good thing. Kichi tried to smile back, but winced. "Excuse our coarseness. We just recently escaped a group of bandits. These people have no where to go. But if you are continuing south, beware of those same bandits." She offered the information to the man in return for his. "a place to feel safe would be nice for them I am sure of it" there were nods of agreement as soft talking began to resume. Kichi herself would not likely be staying as she had to find her clan if she wanted to be accepted. Was she sure she wanted to be accepted back into their fold. Not really, but it was the only family she had. "Who shall I say sent us?" she asked cautiously.
After he answered, she would nod to him as the cart slowly began to plod onwards toward the direct village. At least staying there for a day or two would help her heal before she started off for greener pastures. As the cart moved ever onward the village in question would come into view, and it would take getting much closer for Kichi to realize this was the town she had scouted. And now there was nothing she could do about be here. The cart was within sight of the normal people working. "Just wonderful, fate is really hating me today." Hopefully that woman with the whip would not be around or at least not remember her, she had been fully hidden her black clothing.

Happy to hear they were open to looking for a place, but still concerned at the plight of their escape Jyn would be given mixed emotions in how he felt about their party. If they indeed needed help, then they had come along the correct route. With a nod, Jyn would speak, “thanks for the warning; I’ll keep a look out.” He would also answer, “my name is Jyn. The village leader is a man called Battousai and his right hand is a man called Kautuka.” With the information transferred, Jyn would see them along their way as he knew he still had business to take care of. Promoting a city was hard work, but someone had to do it.
By now, the village would have had its half mile long wall surrounding it with the most prominent gate, the southern gate, welcoming their gaze. Awaiting them inside would be a residential district fill primarily with yurts, small structures that could hold a small family modestly. The way the village was set up, you would start with a small structure and as you worked and earned more, you could build or have a larger house built down the line, or simply add onto the Yurt. The village would be furnished with a street system that included a gutter system that was partially built into the irrigation system. Farmlands would be in and outside the main gates with a bustling marketplace nestled within the village's walls.
At the gate two of Kautuka men would look upon the caravan with interest. When it approached the front gates, one of the scouts would simply inquire if they were merchants or something to that nature. From there, information would be transferred back and forth and the particulars would be proceeded upon about what the people were going to do, where they were going to live, among other thing that would get them acquainted to the city. The head of the worker’s guild would probably be fetched to handle that since Battousai would be out, or if he were around Kautuka would have an operative perform that function. Either way, with their arrival, the small village of Jun’Jo would grow a little bit larger.
