What Had Happened

The light spar had ended in a draw with Jyn coming out on top, but then rolling off as he made a very unwise decision to use his head in battle. Thus the conclusion of the battle would end with Jyn being slashed in the chest, but fall punching Yuki in the head and pinning him to the ground. In a stroke of brilliances, he decides to head butt Yuki in the back of the head, which called for the completion of the spar. Now bleeding, shirtless and holding his blood stained shirt against his chest for pressure, Jyn would be walking along side Yuki in the general direction of the village. His main train of thought was that he could go and find Lightning to apply her magic to him and heal his wound; boys were made to get scrapes and scratches anyway. The only thing was whether Lightning was at their home or not; he would probably check their first in coming into the village, but unless she bumped into them, it would probably turn into a scavenger hunt. Lamenting on the fact that life was easier when he could telepathically communicate with others, Jyn would trod alongside Yuki towards the village from the outside meadow lands.

Following along side Jyn as he heads towards Jun'Jo, Yuki reflects upon there little sparing match that took place only a few moments ago. Thinking upon the sparing match between he and Jyn, Yuki try's to think of what he can do to better himself in melee combat so he can take down foes more easier when locked in melee combat. Not only does he think upon this but he also thinks upon how Jyn had taken him to the ground and pinned him there, given that they had the same amount of strength he wasn't able to get Jyn off of him though he thought if given time he could have thrown him off if Jyn where to tire out but that could prove to be a waste of time in the long run which could get him killed if he couldn't break free in time. With this in mind Yuki begin to wonder if he needed to gain more strength then he currently had, that way he would still be the strongest of the two and perhaps stronger then others they come across. After a few brief moments of thought Yuki shifts his train of thought as he glances to Jyn, " So, I don't have to worry about people in your village trying to kill me because I injured the leader of there village, do I? " Yuki asks with a smirk as he looks at the injured Jyn, teasing him about the injury he had sustained.

With a shrug, Jyn would answer Yuki, “heh, don’t lump me together with him.” The comment would be vague at first before he continued with the advent of a few paces, “the people recognize Battousai as the leader and Dravec as the right hand. I’m probably third on the totem pole around here… but I don’t think you’d have to worry about anything like that.” With that, he would continue to walk, not really saying anything, but allowing the opportunity for Yuki to continue if he so wanted.

Eventually the two would come into the village grounds. Proceeding through the streets, they would come into the area where Jyn’s medium house was. The large house seemed to be undergoing some type of renovations lead by Dravec’s right hand, Mirage, but all indications pointed to the fact that it would be Battousai’s house. It seemed like a pretty tricky thing to manage since Jyn actively shared a body with that man.

Jyn’s hand comes to the door of his home and he pushes it open, announcing, “Light…! Your brother slashed me with his sword; I need you to heal me.”

As Jyn spoke Yuki listens to him and though it seemed that Jyn didn't think of himself as the leader of the village, Yuki seen it differently given the fact that he and Jyn shared the same physical form all be it slightly altered at times. " I don't really see it that way. " Yuki says with a faint nod as he glances to Jyn, " I see you as much a leader as Battousai since you two have the same body, now if you didn't want that responsibility I can understand that. Leading a village isn't exactly an easy thing to do. " Yuki says before falling silent. Falling silent Yuki follows Jyn as they move into the village sounds and make there way through the village and towards Jyn's house. Coming to Jyn's house Yuki waits for him to push open the door and step into the house first before he follows after Jyn. As Jyn calls out to his sister Yuki glances to him for a brief moment before turning his gaze back ahead of them, " Get a needle and some thread and we can stitch him back up. " Yuki say's with a soft chuckle.

Jyn would give Yuki a look as the friend chuckles. Proudly he would comment with his own grin, “I’m not sure we’d even need to sew this scratch. Maybe if you did some pushups you could break skin better.” Looking down, he would see that Lightning was actually in the room they had walked into. Seeing her on the ground in her ‘just waking up’ stages sent happy feelings through him; she was beautiful to him. As she speaks, Jyn pauses for a moment and then looks to Yuki… a training sword… that made a lot of sense. Something like a reverse edge sword would be good for training, but Jyn had never thought of that before since he had always fought against Battousai in the realm of their mind where wounds weren’t really that big of a deal. With his free hand taken, Jyn follows behind Lightning as they head into the bathroom. With the command, Jyn would murmur, “hai hai” deciding not to go against her and with that, he would turn and sit where indicated.

As she leans over, Jyn’s gaze would be move over her chest and neck while he is in the process of being looked over. With the comment of it not being that bad, Jyn would just murmur, “well, it’s not like it hurt… I just didn’t want to walk around with a cut…” He watches the hands that come to cover the wound before leaning his head back and feeling a warm sensation as the small orbs gather about and correct the torn flesh. He closes his eyes and enjoys Lightning inserting her energy into him and when it was over, he would open his eyes and lower his gaze to see his body good as new. With a smile, he would rub the area of his chest where he had been scratched and would remark, “cool.” Standing up, he leans over and kisses Lightning on the cheek before retreating and speaking, “thanks, Light.” Walking back towards the living room, he would call to Yuki, “that wasn’t a real cut, it only took like three seconds to fix.” He does add, “but how about we head to the merchant district and look into getting training gear?”

As his sister makes her entrance, Yuki shifts his attention to her as she begins to speak. It seemed as if she had just woken up or something, the lazy female has probably been sleeping all day. When she comments about them being idiots Yuki frowns faintly at the comment and when she brings up the idea of training swords Yuki thinks upon it for a brief moment, however with such devices you never learn how to deal with the pain and trauma a weapon can do to you. Hearing Jyns comment about doing pushups causes another chuckle to escape the half-breed. As Jyn walks off with his sister, Yuki moves over and takes a seat to wait on Jyn to be healed by his sister.

While waiting on Jyn to come back, Yuki reflects upon there training and how he could better himself against Jyn's melee combat. Relaxing into his seat, Yuki shuts his eyes for a moment now that he has a brief break. When he hears Jyn call out, Yuki opens his eyes again and looks to his friend as he raises back to his feet. " That so? " Yuki inquires with a smirk at Jyn's comment about the cut, " If you want to use training gear I am fine with that. " Yuki says with a faint nod.

Something about the way he had answered made Jyn take it back, “on second thought, maybe just some armor to protect you a little more.” The grins and chuckles, figuring that deciding to get training gear to lower Yuki’s offensive capabilities would be the same as admitting that he couldn’t win against him… something that he would prove wouldn’t be the case the next time they went at it. Now that Jyn was all put back together again, the purposes for coming back had been handled. Moving past Yuki to the hallway that would lead to his room, Jyn would make the comment, “but you owe me a new shirt, though.” After getting into his room, he would move to the bag that he normally kept with him during his traveling days. Now it was mostly used to carry his clothing. Reaching into the bag, he pulls out a balled up white tee shirt and pulls it over his head. After getting the new shirt on, he would head back into the living room to see what Yuki wanted to do for the rest of the day. Before he got to that, and just as he was getting into the living room, there is a knock at the door. “Eh?” Jyn would comment moving towards it. Reaching the door and opening it, he would notice a large man named Henry from the workman’s guild. With a smile, Jyn would greet, “oh, hey Henry. How’s it hanging?” The stern older male would speak, “we’ve got some new people who need to be settled. Where do you want them?” Since Jyn was basically the record keeper for the village, he wanted to keep track of who was living where. “Oh! Okay, I’ll be right out,” he would comment to Henry who advised that he would be out front. “Work to do…” Jyn would hum as he heads back into his room, not really explaining what was going on.

" Protect me more? " Yuki asks as he looks at Jyn, " Your the one that needed to be healed. " he adds with a light smirk as he looks to Jyn. Shifting his gaze, Yuki watches as Jyn moves past him and into the hall way leading to his room. Hearing the comment from Jyn about getting him a new shirt, Yuki lets out a light chuckle, " Perhaps I should get you one with armor on it? Maybe we can find a pink one for you. " Yuki says, another chuckle escaping him. Falling into silence, Yuki waits for his friend to finish putting on a new shirt so they could continue with there day. Hearing the knock from the front door, Yuki shifts his attention to the door, wondering who could be on the other side. Shifting his gaze, Yuki looks to Jyn as he makes his way to the door and opens it. Remaining silent as Jyn opens the door, Yuki watches as Jyn speaks with a man outside the door. From the sound of it, it seemed as if some business had come up that Jyn needed to take care of, though Yuki wasn't sure what was going on and as Jyn walks by him and into his room, humming something Yuki is left standing there unsure what is going on, " Jyn? " Yuki calls out to his friend.

Jyn comes back into the living room with a binder of papers in one hand and a pencil tucked between the lobe of his ear and his head. “Ah,” he says looking to Yuki, “since you don’t have organization at Theden, you wouldn’t know about this. Come with me, you might learn something new.” There’s a cocky grin on Jyn’s face as he calls back to Lightning, “be back later, Light!” With that, his hand would come to the front door and he would open it for himself and Yuki if he were following. Once outside, he would explain, “the way I have things set up, the houses are registered to villagers and I keep track of who’s in them and what they do. This way, we don’t have homeless people just taking up residents in house because they’re empty. Just like in your village, everyone has to work; this helps administrate that.” After a few paces, they would reach the area where Henry and what seemed like three families would be standing by. In total there were 6 adults and eight children. With a smile, Jyn would greet them and introduce himself as the Village Liaison and Yuki as his friend. The families would counter greet in their own way. Jyn gets their names and trades. As things would turn out, they would have an able lumberjack, a merchant and a builder between the three families. Jyn would take down their names and professions while leading the way to a portion of the residential district relieving Henry to get back to work with the other builders. Jyn would explain that people generally started off in a Yurt and if they wanted to, they could build up their house or by a larger one as they progressed in their roles in the village.

As Jyn comes back, Yuki turns his gaze to his friend, listening as he begins to speak and informs he should go with Jyn to see how people are given houses in Jun'Jo. Since he didn't have anything better to do, Yuki figured he could tag along and perhaps pick up a thing or two from his friend. When the front door is opened, Yuki makes his way out the front door, following after Jyn. Making his way outside, Yuki remains silent and listens as Jyn begins to speak once again. Listening to Jyn, Yuki begins to form an understanding of his system and though he didn't employ the same system, Yuki did try to get people into houses so they wouldn't be on the street and if they had a trade, put them to work. Listening to Jyn, Yuki nods his head faintly, " Ah, I see. " The half-breed says before turning his gaze towards the ones Jyn had come to take care of. Turning his gaze to the six, Yuki shifts his gaze between them for a brief moment and as Jyn introduces him, Yuki gives a faint nod and a simple verbal greeting to the families. Yuki watches Jyn as he goes about his business as a 'liaison' for Jun'Jo.

EXP: 222

It wouldn’t take that long getting the families assigned to a house and getting it recorded. The part that actually took the longest and signaled that Jyn might need an assistant in the future, was talking to the men about how things worked in the village, introducing them to the areas where they would be working and the people to speak to about various things. It would translate to a lot of walking and a lot of talking. It made sense to Jyn that you couldn’t just point to a house and say ‘get to work’ and expect people to not have questions or automatically know what to do. The whole process takes just over two hours before all three families are somewhat comfortable in their homes. After that is done, Jyn would be free to go about his business; all he had to do would be to drop his things back off in his room, so in waling back to the medium house , hopefully with Yuki in tow, he would speak, “so I hope I didn’t bore you too much there.” Jyn would walk with his pad I his right hand and his pencil behind his ear as he looks over to Yuki and speaks, “how did you set things to work in Theden? Did it change after I left there as my primary village?”

Unless he was needed to offer some assistance to Jyn in his duties, Yuki would remain silent as followed Jyn while he took care of his duties within Jun'Jo. As he went along with Jyn as he took care of the families, Yuki watched how Jyn took care of the newcomers and made sure to take mental notes incase something Jyn was doing could help him with Theden. Once Jyn had taken care of his duties, Yuki follows along side him as he heads back towards his house and listens as he begins to speak. Glancing to Jyn for a brief moment, Yuki shakes his head faintly, " No, it wasn't a bore. " the half-breed says as he turns his gaze back ahead of them. Keeping his gaze set ahead of them, Yuki listens as Jyn continues to speak and as he listens he thinks upon his question for a brief moment before speaking " I handle matters like that in much the same way as you do. Newcomers are assigned an open house to live in and if they have a trade they join the workers or whatever they are skilled in. " Yuki says as he glances to Jyn again.

“Ah, cool… so it’s pretty much the same; that’s good then,” Jyn would say as they make their way back to the house. Reaching the medium house once more, he would open the door and hold it open for Yuki after walking into its interior. “Be right back,” he would say as he moves through the hallway back to his room and puts away the items that he had with him. Now that those were away, he would return back to where Yuki were and then announce, “Okay, so I’m free for a while, how about I show you our new tavern and we get some drinks?” They had some time they could waste until evening, so Jyn figured they could just hang out for a while and be bros.

Following Jyn, Yuki gives a faint nod to his friends comment, " Though I don't have someone as skilled as you taking care of it for me. " Yuki says as he reaches out to pat his friend on the shoulder. As they come to the medium house and Jyn opens the door for him, Yuki steps into the house and comes to a stop once he had stepped out of the way. " Alright. " Yuki says with another nod as Jyn informs him he will be right back. Shifting his gaze, Yuki follows Jyn for a moment before turning his gaze as he glances around for a moment while he waits for Jyn to return. Upon hearing Jyn come back, Yuki glances to him for a moment and as Jyn begins to speak he listens to him as he shifts his gaze away from his friend once again. When Jyn brings up the idea of going to the tavern to have some drinks Yuki finds the idea to be an inviting one at the moment, " That sounds good, as long as you are buying. " Yuki says with a grin as he looks to Jyn.

Chuckling a bit, Jyn would answer, “sure sure, I can treat you this time, but we’re going to have to get the watered down stuff.” With that, he would reach the door first and pull it open. After heading out, he would look in the direction of the tavern and speak, “Battousai’s got a thing for getting villages built fast.” There’s a bit of a grin there as he would begin to lead the way to the tavern. They would have a bit of a walk ahead of them, but would be a good chance to enjoy moving through the village. Even at this time, people were hard at work with getting it built up and getting adjusted to the new village. Soon it would be about as large, if not larger, than Theden. As they walk, Jyn would speak, “…but things have been nice lately. I wonder if the second dawn brought peace with it…”

Looking to Jyn as he speaks up, Yuki lets out a light chuckle at his friends comment, " Is that so? I guess I'll have to order double then. " Yuki comments as he follows his friend as he heads out of the house. Stepping outside, Yuki glances around for a brief moment before looking back to Jyn as he speaks up. Looking at Jyn, Yuki gives a faint nod to his comment, " Yeah.. " He murmurs lightly as he turns his gaze from Jyn and glances around the village for a moment before he turns and follows after Jyn. Following after Jyn, Yuki slowly shifts his gaze from side to side, glancing around at everything going on around them as they make there way to the tavern. As he hears Jyn speak up, Yuki glances to him for a moment and thinks upon his friends comment before giving a faint shrug, " Perhaps, though for others I'm sure it brought grief.. We lost all of our power and where brought down to the strength of a human. Just think what could happen if there was someone out there that it didn't happen to.. They would have been able to conquer everyone probably. "

“Heh,” Jyn would agree with Yuki, “probably…” There were so many questions about what caused the second dawning; he would have no idea if there were a single entity behind it, or if it were just one of those things that happened in life because of how the world was made. Reaching a building, Jyn would look up and motion to the wooden board hanging from a swing post with an emerald symbol of a crow with a mug of ale behind it mentioning, “this is the place.” The post dawn symbols for the tavern’s name would be written below its logo. Called the Jade Crow, it was a single story building about the size of a two medium house put together. The exterior would be wooden, much like the makeup of much of the village, in log cabin fashion. The first half of the tavern would be the part that held the bar with the bar closest to the wall adjacent and to the left of the front door when one enters. Behind the bar would be a small open kitchen area where food was prepared and counters were available to hold bottles of drinks that were not stored beneath the bar on the inside portion. Away from the bar, there would be a main area with a large rug covering much of the ground area with circular tables inhabiting the space. In the other half of the structure, would be its inn portions that would include ten rooms with five on each side of a narrow hallway. The rooms would have the post dawn markings of one through ten on the doors. For now Jyn would move towards the direction of the bar and take a seat at it. Aside from them, there were a few other men sitting about and enjoying a late afternoon break. As he sits, the bartender would approach and ask what they would be having. Jyn would look to Yuki and speak, “two ales right?”

Coming to a building, Yuki lifts his gaze and glances to the wooden board hanging fro ma post once Jyn had motioned to it. Looking up at the board, Yuki shifts his gaze over the symbol on it before turning his gaze back to Jyn as he speaks up, " Ah.. Not as fancy as the one in Theden. " Yuki says in a joking manner as he shifts his gaze from Jyn. Shifting his gaze, Yuki glances around the Jade Crow as he follows along with Jyn. The tavern seemed a lot different then the one he had constructed at Theden. Following after Jyn as he makes his way to the bar, Yuki nods to some of the men before turning his attention to the bar as he takes a seat next to Jyn. Taking a seat at the bar, Yuki takes another brief moment to glance around before turning his attention to Jyn at the question. Looking at Jyn, Yuki gives a faint nod, " And a cup of milk for you. " Yuki adds with a light chuckle as he reaches out to pat his friend on the shoulder.

Jyn would make himself comfortable on the bar and rest his right arm on it. The bartender seems to get the idea of two ales and moves to prepare it. Laughing at the milk reference, Jyn would simply shake his head and mention, “we haven’t really drunken together before, have we…? That’s weird.” Turning around on the bar stool, Jyn’s back would be against the back with his arms back and his elbows resting on the bar as he looks over the interior of the tavern. He comments, “we’ll see who can hold his drink and who should have had milk…” A sly grin is shifts over to his friend. Behind him, the bartender comes back with two large cups and a bottle. He tilts the bottle over both cups and fills them both with amber liquid frothing with foam at the top. “There you boy’s go,” the bartender would speak before taking the bottle and starting off. Jyn would get his attention and speak, “hey, leave the bottle; I’ll pay for it.” The bartender nods and allows the bottle to stay there; now the two white haired hybrids would be free to get some drinks in for the evening. Turning to the bar, Jyn would take one of the cups in his right hand and then lift it up towards Yuki in a toast and speak, “first one down, princess.”

Listening to Jyn as he brings up the fact that they had never drank before, Yuki gives a faint nod since they had never drank before. With the arrival of the bartender Yuki turns his attention to the two large cups and the bottle that he had brought with him. Yuki watches as the two cups are filled to the top with a frothing liquid. Lifting his gaze, Yuki looks to the bartender and gives him a faint nod, " Thanks. " The half-breed murmurs lightly to the bartender before turning his gaze back to one of the drinks. Turning his attention from the cup, Yuki looks to Jyn after he had requested that the bottle remain behind so they could consume the rest presumably. As Jyn reaches out for one of the cups, Yuki does the same and reaches out, taking hold of the second cup before he lifts it up and meets his friends toast, " I believe you are the princess. " Yuki says with a smirk as he draws the cup to his lips and tips it up, taking an initial sip of its contents to see how it tasted.

As Yuki takes his first sip of the ale, Jyn would bring the liquid to his lips, drink and then lower the cup as he gives a happy sigh and retorts, “false, friend. You see… I have logic on my side!” The upward inflection would lead into, “as you see, I have short hair. You have long flowing hair… like a woman’s… which would automatically set you as the best candidate for a princess.” Seemingly having made sense to himself, Jyn would lift his mug and present it to Yuki before bringing it to his lips and chugging about half the mug’s worth of content. After doing so, he lowers the ale container to the bar with a small knocking sound and wipes his mouth with the back of his hand. So far, he was half a mug ahead of Yuki and within the realms of his mind, the competition had already begun without being announced. Jyn would speak, “if you beat me in drinking, you may upgrade to a queen!”

After the initial sip, Yuki takes a brief moment once he had tasted the alcoholic beverage. Shifting his gaze, Yuki looks to Jyn as he begins to speak. As he listens to Jyn, Yuki lets out a soft chuckle as he puts forth his reasoning behind the idea that Yuki is the princess instead of himself. " Is that so. " Yuki says as he watches Jyn lift his mug and chug down about half of its contents. In response to Jyn chugging half of his mugs contents, Yuki lifts his mug from the bar and brings it up to his lips. Pressing the mug against his lips Yuki tips it up and begins to gulp down the contents of the mug. After putting roughly half of his mug down in a few seconds Yuki sets the mug back onto the bar and lets out a modernity loud belch. " I guess I'll have to beat you then, that way you can be my queen my dear. " Yuki says with a light chuckle as he looks over at his friend for a moment before turning his gaze back to his drink and lifting it from the bar to take another gulp of the mugs contents.

Jyn’s gaze would watch as Yuki would match his drinking before putting his mug down. A competitive grin would come and Jyn would comment, “not happening…” in response to Yuki’s earlier words. His hand comes back to grip his mug as he pulls it to him and lifts it up. “Cup one, down…” With that he would bring the cup to his lips and proceed in tilting his head back, drinking all of the contents of the mug before giving a sigh and placing it back down, the cup making a hallow sound in its wake. He would lift the back of his hand to wipe his mouth before leaning over the bar and taking the bottle of ale by the neck. Pulling it over to him, he would tilt the bottle diagonally over his cup and fill it back up before sitting it on the bar table between Yuki and himself.

After taking another gulp from his mug, Yuki watches Jyn and smirks at his comment as he watches the mug come back to his friends lips before he begins to gulp down the rest of its contents before setting his cup back down. Once Jyn had finished off the contents of his cup, Yuki gives a faint nod, " So you think you can bet me. " Yuki murmurs lightly as he turns his gaze from Jyn and looks back to his mug. Since he didn't wish to lose to his friend in there challenge, Yuki lifts his mug back off of the bar and brings it to his lips before he tilts it up as he tilts his head back and takes a few chugs as he gulps down the rest of the mugs contents. After gulping down the rest of the contents of his mug, Yuki brings his mug back down, slamming the container against the bar as he turns his gaze back to Jyn and gives his friend a toothy grin before speaking up, " Filler up again or you can give up now, your choice. "

The grammar Nazi raises his head as Jyn smirks and speaks, “beat… I don’t need to bet you, but I can beat you!” Folding his arms, Jyn would take on a stately pose as he comments about Yuki’s speech slurring already. He watches as the mug lifts and then watches as Yuki drinks from it before lowering it. “Good, good,” Jyn would nod as he sees his friend finish off his ale, “you may be a worthy opponent.” Reaching for the bottle of ale, he would lean over and fill his friend’s cup before sitting the bottle back down between them. “Round two, so it’s your turn to start off,” Jyn would lead off as he takes his cup in his hands. He would see if Yuki would match his original half, or perform more or less.

As they continued to enjoy themselves, more and more people would start coming into the tavern since it was around the time where workers would be getting off work and getting ready to wind down and relax with friends. The atmosphere would become more cozy as a few more men would sit at the bar, gaining the bartender’s attention with a couple taking seats at tables within the tavern. The tavern’s assistant, a delicate young lady in an apron who was either the niece or the daughter of the bartender, would come from the back to assist in taking orders and carrying drinks.

As Jyn begins to refill the mugs, Yuki gives a faint nod as he watches his friend, " Glad I can give you a challenge princess. " the half-breed murmurs, teasing his friend. With the mugs refilled, Yuki takes hold of his mug again and lifts it from the table since it seemed he would be leading the next round of drinking. Lifting the cup to his lips, Yuki pauses for a moment as he looks at Jyn, " Let's see if you have what it takes to defeat the great white wolf? " Yuki says with a grin before he brings the mug to his lips and begins to lift it into the air. As he lifts the mug, Yuki tilts his head back and begins to gulp down the new ale in his mug. With the challenge between him and his friend, Yuki knew he had to step up and make it hard for his friend to win there drinking game. With this in mind Yuki focuses on his drink as he takes the first gulp of the ale. After the first gulp, Yuki follows through with a second as he starts to drink the ale. After two or three more gulps, Yuki manages to put down a little over half of the contents of the mug, however he had a bit of ale running out the sides of his mouth and he is forced to bring the mug down and set it on the bar as he draws in a deep breath of air.

“Oh,” Jyn would admire, “the white cub managed to get a little more than half way. He would tilt his head back as he begun to drink, taking gulp after gulp, but attempting to not have it spill over his mouth. His stomach started to get tight around half way through, but with a goal in mind to beat, his eyes wince as he forces himself further and further until he eventually finishes off the mug, breathing through his nose and taking several seconds in the process, and sits it down on the table, exhaling deeply and feeling a raging burn on his chest.

Upon hearing his friends comment, Yuki lets out a soft chuckle as he looks at Jyn. THough his friend had refereed to him as a cub, at the moment the comment didn't bother the half-breed since he was having to much fun. Keeping his gaze on Jyn, Yuki watches as he lifts his second mug full and begins to gulp it down. Watching his friend, Yuki wonders if he will be able to make it as far as he was able to, however as he watches Jyn he soon realizes that his friend is able to knock back the entire contents of the mug in one steady go. Watching his friend, Yuki was a bit surprised that he was capable of doing such a thing and Yuki knew he couldn't let his friend outshine him like that so Yuki turns his gaze back to the rest of his second mug and lifts it to his lips before he begins to gulp down the remaining ale in the mug. After gulping down the remaining contents of the mug, Yuki brings it down and sets it onto the bar before he brings his arm up and uses his sleeve to wipe away the ale that had gotten on his face. With the second mug down, Yuki turns his gaze to Jyn and grins, " Another? " Yuki asks as he looks at Jyn.

“Of course, there’s no backing down now,” Jyn would grin, a little tipsy now due to the buzz that had seemed to settle in with him. The voices in the background and the people around seemed to liven up the place as it proceeded to slowly get darker outside. Reaching out, Jyn would take up the bottle of ale once more and proceed in filling his cup along with Yuki’s cup as he speaks, “have you decided what you’re doing to do with your women situation?” Since he was tipsy, he was talkative. “I mean you basically have like ten wives right?” he finishes filling up their mugs and places the bottom of the ale bottle on the bar. He takes his cup and looks to Yuki, “I’ve settle down with Light… you gonna settle?” He was buying a little time since the full cup gulp had been a bit much, but asking his question, he would proceed in drinking from his mug, this time, only taking it a half cup at a time before sitting the mug back down on the bar.

Listening to Jyn, Yuki gives a faint nod to his friends statement and watches as he begins to fill the two mugs back up with ale. Once his mug was filled, Yuki reaches out and takes hold of it again but pauses as he hears the question from Jyn. Turning his gaze from the mug back to Jyn, Yuki shakes his head faintly to answer his friends question about his women situation. As his friend continues, Yuki listens still but when he brings up the topic of him having ten wives, Yuki lets out a chuckle as he shakes his head again, " That happened because of a deal, there was no intent to settle down with any of them after fathering the children. " Yuki says as he turns his gaze from his friend and back to his mug. Looking at his mug, Yuki gives a faint shrug before he begins to speak, " I don't know if I'll settle down.. " Yuki begins as he glances to Jyn as he begins to take a drink from his mug of ale. " I haven't really been looking for someone to settle down with. " Yuki adds as he lifts his mug from the table. Since Jyn had already kicked off there next round, Yuki knew he needed to follow threw with his next mug of ale. Since it seemed Jyn wasn't able to finish off the entire mug, Yuki decides to try and out do him this go so he brings his mug up to his lips and tips it into the air as he tilts his head back and begins to chug the contents of his mug. Holding the mug up, Yuki takes gulp after gulp of ale as he focuses on downing the entire mug in one go. After a brief moment of chugging Yuki brings the empty mug back down and slams it onto the bar before letting out a loud belch followed by him drawing in a few breaths of air to catch his breath.

The information is taken in and rummages about Jyn’s head as it is spoken. A grin would come to Jyn’s face as he speaks, “you sly dog… so you don’t want to settle down…” It had been with the lowering of his cup that Jyn would basically be drunk, though he still had half a mug to go to match with Yuki. He looks down at his liquor and then back up at Yuki who seemed to be able to drown his entire cup with no problem. He would murmur lightly, “wow… not bad…” After Yuki finished drinking, Jyn would hold a finger up and speak, “there are some good things about settling down…” His voice would trail off as he would look back down at his cup… not yet drinking it, but making sure it didn’t move. He looks back up as if waiting for Yuki to say something before realizing that he was in the middle of a sentence. “Oh yeah…” he continues, “there’s something good… about settling down… probably…” Thinking over things, he says, “Light cooks for me… that’s good… but you can have five women cook for you… Light pleases me… but you can have five women please you… hmmm…” He decides he needs more time to think about the good parts of being settled down. “Ah!” he remembers as he points to Yuki, poking him in the chest with his index finger and he speaks, “love…! It’s like… a better feeling… well… you know when you have sex with a girl and it’s just sex… there’s something MORE besides that which is when you’re with someone you love…” Jyn coughs and then gets a straight face as he tells Yuki, “you’re my best friend.”

Having finished the mug of ale, Yuki was pretty much wasted at this point in the game, though he had managed to finish off another mug of ale and hopefully put him ahead of Jyn. As he sat in his stool, Yuki shifts from side to side, though it was more like he was wobbling in his seat some as he leans into the bar for more stability. Keeping his gaze on Jyn, Yuki listens to his friend as he speaks more upon the matter. As he listens to his friend, the half-breed doesn't realize that he is stalling for more time instead of knocking back the rest of his drink. While listening to Jyn, Yuki begins to nod his head faintly to what his friend is saying and when Jyn pokes him in the chest, Yuki glances down at the finger as he shifts back some from the poke. Lifting his gaze to look back at Jyn, a smile takes form on his face at his friends comment, " And your my bestest friend too... " Yuki murmurs as he lifts a hand and reaches out. Reaching out he attempts to pat Jyn on the shoulder, however he misses his target location and begins to fall over.

Jyn almost stumbles over as he catches Yuki placing his hand on his friend’s chest to keep him level. “Hold it!” he would say, “the floor’s that way.” After making sure that Yuki was good, Jyn would bring his hand back to his drink and look at it speaking, “but you’ll find it one day… probably… that thing that makes you want to settle down.” With that, he lifts his cup to his lips and drinks from it, drinking all of it before placing the empty cup back onto the bar. His hand reaches up to rub his eyes and then looks back to the tettering Yuki. He gives a goofy grin and begins to giggle as he speaks, “I think you’re drunk. I can probably do one more… how about it… are ya chicken?” After that, Jyn would start to make chicken noises to coax Yuki on as he reaches for the bottle of ale, almost empty now. He fills Yuki’s cup for him and then his own, emptying out the bottle before placing it back. “There was a lot in that bottle...”he would marvel, looking at it as if it were some great mystery.

Feeling Jyn's hand on his chest, Yuki glances to the hand as he begins to sit up right with the aid of his friend, a laugh escaping him at his friends comment about the floor. Sitting back up right in the stool, Yuki leans into the bar once again for stability as he glances to his empity mug and wishes that it was full once again. Turning his gaze back to his friend, Yuki watches as Jyn finally brings his mug up to his lips and finishes off what ws left in his mug before setting it back down. When Jyn makes the comment about him being drunk, Yuki shakes his head faintly as a goofy smirk takes form on his face, though as Jyn starts to make chicken sounds Yuki manages a muffled drunken growl, " I can drank ... ten more .... " Yuki says as he watches Jyn refill the two mugs before the bottle runs out of ale. Glancing back to Jyn as he speaks about the bottle, Yuki reaches out and takes hold of his cup and lifts it from the table and brings it to his lips. Bringing the mug to his lips, Yuki tilts it up and takes a few gulps of ale, knocking back roughly half of the mug. After finishing off half of the mug, Yuki sets it back onto the bar and looks to Jyn with a big grin on his face.

“Oh damn…” Jyn watches as Yuki continue to drink more, blinking and rubbing his eyes a bit. He felt as if he were floating during this time and for some reason he felt like he was having a good time. He knew that he was near his limit, but he didn’t want Yuki to have one up on him. There was plenty of fun to be had for the night, but Jyn wanted to at least put the nail in the coffin for Yuki. Through his drunken logic, Jyn figured that he had Yuki and with a couple more drinks, he should be able to get Yuki to tap out. “Hmphrt!” Jyn would grunt as he stands off of his bar stool. He’s a bit wobbly at first, but he holds onto the bar and straightens himself as he looks to Yuki with a serious face. “It’s time….” He announces, “for me to finally get serious. Know your place, wolf pup and watch in dismay!” Blinking several times, he levels his sights on his cup and then grabs it. “Cup!” he announces, looking to it dead seriously, “I’m about to make love to you!” With that, he brings the cup to his lips and tilts his head back and drowns the entire mug, taking gulp after gulp. About half way through, he coughs and ends up spilling a bit, but he recovers and drinks the rest of the mugs contents before sitting it down on the table.

With that, he looks over to Yuki and gives a chopping salute before smiling, "looks like I win..." and with that, he promptly falls straight backwards and is out like a light.

Having finished half the mug and felt fine, or at least not passing out yet, Yuki felt that he could finish off the rest and be fine, however he waits to see what Jyn would do in response. Yuki watches as Jyn raises from his seat and stands up, though somewhat wobbly, but still he manages to remain on his feet instead of falling. Yuki keeps his gaze on Jyn and listens as he speaks and as he makes the comment Yuki laughs a bit in response to his friend calling him a pup. It seemed like Jyn was getting serious with his deceleration and perhaps this would be the defining moment in there little contest. When Jyn informs his cup that he is going to make love to it, Yuki again bursts out into laughter, though this time he brings a hand to his side to hold his side as it begins to hurt while he laughs at Jyns comment. Managing to calm down Yuki watches Jyn as he offers the salute after finishing off the rest of his mug and for moment Yuki believes that he may have lost to Jyn, however as Jyn falls backwards, Yuki again bursts out into laughter as his friend falls over, succumbing to the effects of his drink. Turning his attention from his friend, Yuki sets his gaze upon his mug and lifts the container from the table. Since there was no sense in letting the rest of his drink go to waste, Yuki brings the mug to his lips and quickly knocks back the last half of ale in his mug. After finishing the rest of the ale, Yuki sets his mug back onto the bar and slumps over some as he looks down at Jyn, " Hey... " Yuki says as he looks down at his friend.
