One to Go

The wind rolls across the claim lands all is peaceful in the ruins of the old city. Birds rest on the edge of the old buildings seem like they are about fall down. With the way things have gone lately a lot of the big creepy things have gone into hiding. And this is most likely the safest this area has been in a long time.

"Lightning.... Are we there yet?"

"No" My blue eyes glance over my should at the jaded haired woman following me.

"My feet are starting to hurt, these boots weren't made for walking you know."

"You should get some better ones then."

"No way these cost 500 bucks!"

"I didn't ask you to come with me...."

"I know but I thought it would be fun. But this sucks ass."

My body comes to a stop at a what seems to be a hole in the ground with steps leading down into the dark. A sign swings over it, squeaking as it moves in the wind. The jaded haired woman stops behind me, and looks down in the hole.

"We going down into the subway?"

"I'm not sure what a subway is, but this is a Relic smith shop. Can't you read the sign."

"....Are those letters? Looks like something a five year-old come up with."

"Just try not to break anything while we are here."

I walk down the steps and open the door to the shop.

The stairs would lead to a dark tunnel light by torches as they would walk along the broken tiles until they would come to a platform. An old house of some sort sat at the platform, one made out of metal. The windows along the cylinder shaped house were blackened out with paint and curtains. But there was a fire going on as smoke slowly rose up from an opening on the house and through a small tunnel in the roof of this cave. Sounds of metal on metal could be heard as though someone was banging on metal with a hammer. The smell of stale urine and feces was cut only by the foul smell of the forge.

The curtain door way to this house was there, a sign over it read, "The Happy Alchemist" and then in smaller lettering was an addition, "The Gay Tailor" and then a small wooden sign was nailed to the bottom of the that with even smaller lettering, "The Angry Smith" A shout followed by clattering could be heard and more shoting back and forth as it sounded like something glass breaking inside.
"Ya creepy lil' verman. Git on yer side of this house."

The jade haired woman covers her nose and mouth with her hands to try to block out the smell of urine and feces.

"Oh god, I think I am going to sick... The last time I smelled something this bad was when I went to that frat party...."

"Watch your step...."

The is a squishing sound, and the girls eyes water up....

"Ah man I just step in something...."

"I told you to watch your step."
As she is try to cheek her boots for the unknown, my hand comes up to slide the door open as the shouting and breaking of glass takes places. My brow arcs for a moment as I look inside at the short angry man.
"Hmm, are you open for trade? This is The Angry Smith right?"
I lean back to check the sign again, thinking maybe I should have went over to The Gay Tailor.... They do have got tease in style. And this guy seems a little too angry to get a good trade with. But maybe he will have something really good.

The short hairy man, was stout with thick corded arms that were use to wielding a hammer. In fact that hammer was sitting on the floor beside him. He glanced up at the woman with beady eyes, a white beard, and white hair. "Eh? Doncha e'er knock, lass? It's nawt polite to jest barge in ona man, whilst he is havin' a discussin' with his partn'rs." His accent was thick and heacy, like the hammer that he picked up and began to walk towards a forge in the very back of the house like structure. Two little troll, goblin, like men sat behind a counter and smiled up at women, displaying gold teeth.
"Greetings, my fair pretties." He snickered as his voice was pitched a bit higher than most normal males, and with the flop of his wrist it was clear that he was flaming so much, he put the sun to shame. "What are two such gorgeous specimens as yourselves doing down here in the muck. You should be up there with your boys?" This goblin like man snapped his fingers in the shape of a 'Z' as he spoke and looked them over.
His partner piped up, and in his arms he looked to be hold some sort of small breed dog that started yapping. His voice was more cultured sounding than his business partners. "Forgive them, madam. They are so below standards at times. Please do come in to our abode. What can we do for you today, my ladies?" With that he motioned towards another curtained doorway and walked through, the dog finally quieting.

When the entered the secondary room, fine fabrics lay on neat little tables, sewing supplies and stuff were neatly arranged. Everything in here was clean, where as the first room had been the forge and full of dirt and soot. He motioned towards a small table with a setting for four. "Tea perhaps?"

One to Go

"Knock?" The question come under my breath as I wonder who knocks before then enter a trade shop. Mean isn't that the point of haven a shop, so people can come inside and look at the goods. Don't they normal put a bell at the top of door that rings when someone comes inside. I feel someone bump into from behind a pair of arms wrap themselves around one of mine. My cold blue eyes glance at Reika when feeling her breast rub against my arm like some love sick puppy. The words 'Is that really necessary....' run through my mind. My attention shift back to the flamer that greets us....

"It looks like we fell into a Dungeons & Dragons game...."

I really didn't get what she was whispering into my ear, but I give a slight nod in agreement that this was a rather odd lot we found down here.

"Lightning isn't into dirty boys!"

A sweat bead draws on my cheek as my sexual preference comes into question and the small dog starts yapping at us.... The more cultured... guy... ask his question and motions for us to walk through a curtained doorway.

"Hmmm yeah... I saw a posting on The Guild boards by this guy named Shin. Said this was a good place trade for relics.... I came to have a look for myself and see if we could make a trade agreement."

My eyes look around at the cleaner room that seems to be the part of the shop that is the tailors. With the offer of tea Reika's face lights up...

"I would love some!"

"I will pass but thank you. You are the tailor I take it?"

I give my question as I look around as Reika takes a seat at the small table.

"Wow this is just like Alice In Wonder Land! Hey I know Maybe we should see about getting girls some sexy uniforms. I am sure it would be better than running that leather garb.... You could use one too Light. Something with a short shirt and sleeveless to show off those sexy legs and arms. A commander should always look good."

"... Right"

"Yes, I am Tristan, the gay tailor. Do not mind Ragnor and Valim they are both odd balls." With that the man set the small dog down a cushion with lace all around it. The dog sat there like a princess as Tristan brought forth tea cups and a pot of tea. It was a mixture of what smelled like mint and jasmine. Pour three cups he set everything down on the table and leaned against one of the many counters in this part of the shop. "What can I do for you ladies? I usually am the sales front of this operation. Since I seem to be better at the social aspects of life."

My blue eyes couldn't help their stare at the small dog that acts like a princess.... The tea is poured and the question is given. My lips part and then the outburst of Reika comes,

"You're little doggy is so cute Mr. Tristan! Where did you get him? I would love to have one!"

My hand comes up and I cough,

"This isn't the time for games Reika. We are here for an exchange."

The girls head lowers and she picks up the cup of tea to have a drink.

"I come looking for a relic to replace the one I had that has been broken."

"I didn't break it, the thing was really old... How could I have known it would blow up when you tried to shoot it...."

"That was my mothers gunblade. You told me that you could fix it."

"Well it was fixed till you tried to shoot it...."

I glair at Reika for a just a moment.

"I was hoping you would have one in your shop or at less replacement parts to fix the old one with."

The girl sits at the table with her tea as she looks around at the fabrics and sewing supplies on the little tables. The crazy otaku in her starts to come up with cosplay ideals.

"Don't forget about the uniform! It should be something sexy.... Made out of Kevlar or something really light weight.... With a lot of zippers and straps.... sleeveless with a metal shoulder pad! Oh and a shoulder cap! It should get red like a Roman Commander would have! "

She looks back at the tailor that is very gay. Putting her hands together and giving him puppy dog eyes as she begs.

"Oh Mr. Tristan can I help you make the cosplay?! Please...."

A sweat bead draws on my cheek as I had a feeling that I wasn't going to like this.

Tristan looked at the too girls, his smile widening. "A gunblade? Do you have the parts that are left? So I can make a comparison?" At that there was another bellow from the other room, a crash and then cursing from the dwarf of a man at the forge. Tristan cringed and shook his head, staring at the door. "He is the best smith you will ever find. And he's a softy on the inside. You really must excuse him. Last week, this crazy demon came in and started to rant and rave, which is why everything is so.. dirty and smelly. The demon pissed on him. And then killed his son. Ragnor cut him in two with his great axe. But only after Valim had tripped him up. Me I am not a fighter. But a good fire spell works wonders to help out." After that Tristan motioned for them to follow as he got up and went into the next section of metal shell of a house. "We are planning on moving the sign to this door" He points as he pulls the curtain back and revealed a wide array of armor and weapons. "Now there is nothing too special about these. If you want something with special abilities. It will take some time for me to imbue it into the weapon that Ragnor can make. Plus those tend to need special materials."

I give a nod as I pull the long bag that was slung over my shoulder around to hand it to him. The metal parts would jingle as the hit each other as I hand the bag over to him. "This is all of it... that could be found." The two of us look over at the door where the noise was coming from. A sweat bead draws on my cheek till we are told the story. Reika frowns,

"That is so sad.... Poor Mr. Ragnor."

Following Tristan's motion I follow him into the next section of the metal houses where the curtain is drawn back to show a wide array of wares. Reika's hands come together as her eyes widen.

"I don't need anything that is really special just something that isn't going to break on me...."

In the back ground the lime hair girl is good through the armor, picking up this and that and then finding something else and putting something back. There would be 'Oh's and 'Ah's as she picks things up and looks at them....

"What about that? It looks like the one I had."

I would point at the weapon in question before I am tacked from behind and cloths start to be thrown around in the air....

"Eh!"

"What are you doing?"

"Hey don't touch me there!"

"Stop it that tickles!"

The store owner chuckled as the little dog jumped off the counter and began to run circles around the pair. "Perhaps you pick out what you want, bring them back into my room, and we will tally it all up. I will leave you two to figure out things." She leaned down and picked up the yipping dog and chuckled again, as he walked back into the next room, he glanced over his shoulder. "If you try to leave with anything prior ro paying for it, this place protects itself and seriously you don't want to meet that which lurks around here and protects the place. He disappeared into the other room.

When they were ready he would tally up all their purchases and take the barter items. Sending them on their way without much more hassle.

ooc: You can put how much they cost etc. I will total up the npc exp for you on monday.

The sounds of a struggle comes from the room with exclamation for both women as one forces herself on the other. After the a few moments the lime hair girl comes out of the room with a big smile on her faces. Holding up both her arms up as if she is going to reveal something wonderful to the world.

"And without any more delay, I give you the new look!"

My cold blue eyes glance over at Reika as she continues to act like a child. My faces is slightly flushed for being touched here, there and everywhere else. Walking past her, I put a mechanical weapon down on the counter.

"I'll take this.... and these cloths."

I bring up another bag that is opens as the contents of shinny things, mostly strips of rare metals and an exceptionally rare gem, are pour out into view.

"This should cover it don't you think?"

My brow arcs as I look at him while asking the question.
