Jayde had been in the middle of warping to Theden when suddenly the void shifted and stretched. Like a plop of taffy, it was pulled and stretched and then with a sickening pop, she was thrown out of the void at a strange location. As she was in the middle of a free fall high above the ground, she only had a few moments to think about the end of her life. This would be the end, but she tried to send out a telepathic call, but in answer the world tilted in a strange way and for a time she was caught up in a strange bit of distortion and craziness that popped her back into the void and then back out of it. A voice whispered in her mind, "not yet. You have work to do." She hit the round with a thud and felt something else pop. At least she wasn't dead and as she moved her limbs, she wasn't broken. Rolling off the thing that went pop, she noticed it was some kind of strange bucket, with red and white labels that she couldn't read. And the picture of an older human. Inside there was something fresh and hot. The popping at been the lid of the container as her arm had knocked it. The aroma smelled pretty damn good as she inspected the contents. It was warm and looked like some sort of brown meat.

Grabbing the bucket, she stood up and dusted herself off one handed. Keeping the bucket close. Mentally she tried to reach out and sense the minds of the area only to come up with nothing. No power, it just wasn't there. It was there before the second voiding thing and then it wasn't. She had nothing. All that work for nothing. But at least she had all of her stuff and this new type of meat. Perhaps if she figured out how to make it, she could make more and maybe, just maybe make some items for it... Nah.

Pennywise may have sorted out that little problem of his that revolved around physical impresssion. But even the lack of wasn't going to make him turn up on Jay'De's little radar. His coat, thanfully helped him remain a complete dead zone to those with spiritual senses. Well at least senses that wern't capable of piercing the veil created in front of his power. Something had led him here, be it fate or just random curiousity. He was looking for Mittens, looking for Shiori. But what he wasn;t looking for he found. Something hot. Something sexy. Something.

How the hell it had occured no one was to know. He knew that smell however and as he stared from the back of the girl holding the bucket, his mouth drooped slightly. His mind was racing with possibilities as to just how the bucket had gotten there. Perhaps like him it had been seemingly saved from the worlds end and just popped into existance. Who knew. Maybe it had been the bucket he had so velmontly been enjoying right before whatever happened. Had happened.

" Hey lady...yeah..you".

His actual being there might have been some surprise to Jay'de, as mentioned before of his sneaky sneakyness. "...That...thing you got there....". He pointed at the bucket. "....I would...like ever so much just to...". His face was slightly innocent as he walked towards her. " Hold it...just one last time.....my...chicken..my". With that he jumped at Jay'de arms extended for the chicken.

" My precious!"

Jayde started walking and was just moving towards the direction the sun would be setting. If anything, Hunter would send Mirage to find her and she would talk to him about her new lack of magic and strength. The chicken was tucked under one arm and she reached into the bucket to grab a piece. Well it looked like a leg of some sort. Putting it up to her nose she sniffed the heavenly scent until finally her tongue snuck out for a lick. It was like nothing she had ever tasted in her life. It was very good. So she took a bit and as the flavors hit her palette she smiled and almost moaned in pleasure. Whatever this was, she would have to figure out how to make it. It was crunchy and good and tasted like chicken. But what kind of chicken was this. The bucket felt like it was made out of thick paper of some kind.

It was about this time that she heard a voice. Turning around with the drumstick in hand and a mouth full of chicken. She saw a finely dressed man making a jump for her chicken. Growling, her hand tightened on the chicken as she turned around and was instead hit in the back by him. His front to her back, they would fall, sprawled on the ground. With a simple twist, her ass would be in the air, with her knees under her, protecting the chicken. The other hand coming under her to help protect it from the crazy guy now most likely draped over her as a possible tussle would begin over the strange bucket.

A slight breeze blew the aroma of the chicken out into the vast unpopulated area. She swallowed the bit and shook her head in defiance.

She was eating his chicken? Oh Hell no.

He dived towards her, tackling her back in an attempt to reach around and grab that bucket out of her hands, his head seemed to be knocked away by her ass which in any other occassion would be realtviely nice but in this one it was not. The woman had the last bucket of fucking southern fried comfort and he wasn't willing to share. " Bitch give me back my fucking chicken!". He scrambled around her attempting to grasp but it seemed she had curled up into somewhat of a deffensive ball around the chicken. Truely this one understood its glory. But just because she understood it didn't mean that he was going to let her get away with taking it away from him. He jumped on her back, quickly trying to remember the grappling judo skills he had learned whilst trying to keep the guise of wiseman u-

Huh. Strange. Couldn't remember a one. Perhaps it was something to do with the same reason he couldn't summon his controlled masque of madness. Or any of his other powers. Somehow everything had been wiped clean. He didn't much like it, but he would deal with it. In a make shift attempt he grabbed around the front of her face and tried to yank her out of the ball with the weight of his body and his strength. Hopefully it would go as planned. If not.

It might result in spilling the bucket everywhere.

Jayde tried her best to hang on to the bucket of heavenly deliciousness, but as the man pulled, she came up and the chicken went flying out of the bucket, with Jayde still holding onto the bucket and looking up as time slowed to a crawl and the twenty piece delight went cruising through the air. She felt like she was slow in scrambling up, still not saying a word, as she lunged towards the scattered falling pieces. It would seem that they would be quick enough between the two of them to catch most of the pieces, but through the actions of the demon, they would not be able to catch them all. With the bucket in hand and a frontal slide into home plate, she went forward and was able to catch, including the drumstick, eight pieces of the yummy goodness. Two wings, two breasts, two thighs, and of course the legs. She had the perfect woman then in that case.

Getting up she shook herself off and dusted herself off one handed, slamming the pieces back into the bucket. Turning around she looked at the man in the strange dress and tilted her head. "You know, sir. Calling me names wont get you far." He obviously knew what this stuff was so she would press onward. "Never have I tasted anything like this, so if you know how to make it, we might be able to make more. If not, then surely these are the last pieces of ambrosia the world will ever see." Her tone was soft but firm. She was offering him a good trade. A recipe and she would make more, some how.

It was like a mexican fucking stand off.

Only these wern't mexican wings. If they had beeen well there might not have been as much of a fight over it. Mexican wings were nice but they lacked the subtle love that the bearded old man gave to each of his fine fine recipes. He looked at the white haired girl up and down as she proposed a deal. But she was wrong he didn't know the secret recipe. That was hidden deep within the bowels of the restaraunt in question. His eyes jerked back towards the location of the place he had awakened. But she seemed to think that he knew it. That could work to his advantage. " I don't know girlie I've known quite a few girls that like the dirty talk in my day, what can I say, you just struck me as one of them". But if she did know how to cook then maybe just maybe he had struck on gold on that one. Would being honest land him more brownie points on this one? Maybe.

" I'll be honest I don't know how to make em, but I know how to get to the place that holds the recipe"

He was hoping that would be enough in this little stand offish trade of theirs. " Though cooking it is going to require more skill on your part than I think you might have.....theres always a test I suppose....". He grinned. Cracking his knuckles. One would think that this test of his might hav beeen proving her worthiness of knowing such a recipe. But that wasnt his idea of one at all.

It was a stare down, and she had the only 8 pieces rescued, the rest sadly lay on the ground scattered and dirty. Forever their tasty goodness would lay in waste only fit to be eaten by the animals around this area. Her eyes, the color of jade, stared at the man. Her arms were holding the bucket of chicken like a mother protecting her baby. Reaching in she pulled out the drumstick she had been eating on and took another bite, just to spite him. Chewing slowly, she savored the piece of chicken and swallowed. "Hmmm. This food is strange, but delicious. I don't like the dirty talk, nor do I like to be commanded." She placed the drumstick back in the bucket and pulled out the second one. With a flick of her delicate wrist she tossed him the smaller piece of chicken like a bone to a starving dog. "Eat that, If you want a sandwich either, make it yourself, or...." She waited for a moment and sneered at him. "...find one in a bucket somewhere. Will you please show me where the recipe lay. I would really like to make some more. Plus we can share the bucket while we walk."

Jayde was trying for a compromise as she watched the man in front of her. She wanted more but if he wouldn't budge she would just turn around and walk away. In fact she started to turn making good on her attitude of not caring.

So she denied his test of making him a sandwich, damn well she wasn't going to be doing well as anyones wife that was for sure. But then again she was young maybe she didn't know how to make a man a proper sandwich yet and wanted to save herself the embarassment. Perhaps. Yeah that might have been it. So he decided to forgive her on this occassion.

The idea of sharing the chicken wasn't very good to him, the only person he had shared such a thing with before was Mittens. Noted, had to keep looking for her. " Hmmm.....thats a tough deal ya got there lady...take you to the place....well I could do that.....But then that would ultimately leave me with nothing more than the knowledge you were skipping off with my recipe...sure I'd be able to get more from you...maybe.....but then what would you be charging me for them....". He tapped his chin coming up with a diabolical counter offer of his own. Whilst Penny was clearly insane it wasn't fair to say that this meant he was stupid. In fact the man was rather cunning when the situation called for it. His first interests of course lay with promoting his boss. Even if this was the end of the world. Those chains still stuck. " How about this, I take you to the recipe, but you cut me in on half the profits, and...". He let out that mischevious (trollish) grin again.

Shifting his gaze slowly, Yuki scans the area around them as he moves forwards, at his side moved his companion, a white wolf almost, if not, as tall as he is. Given what had happened Yuki felt vulnerable while moving outside of the village, which was a feeling he never wanted to feel again so it brought the half-breed to be on edge as he moves through Medius. As the wolf followed at the half-breed's side, it too shifts its gaze as it scans the area while sniffing at the air from time to time. Turning his gaze, Yuki glances to the sky for a moment to see where the sun is in the sky. " Hmmm. " he murmurs lightly as he shifts his gaze across the sky for a brief moment. As he sniffed at the air while moving along side Yuki, Ulfric, the large wolf, picked up something familiar on the wind that catches his attention. Lifting his head, Ulfric sniffs at the air for a moment to make sure he had indeed caught a familiar scent instead of simply another scent in the area. Once he was sure he glances to Yuki, " I smell that female from before, Jay'de. " the large wolf says as he looks to Yuki. When he hears Ulfric speak, Yuki glances to the large wolf for a brief moment before shifting his gaze away as he glances around while sniffing at the air. Unlike Ulfric, Yuki couldn't smell the female on the wind which angered the half-breed. For a moment he thought about simply continuing on his way since she is affiliated with Dravec, however he remembers that she had left something of hers at his village that she might want back. " Lets go say hello, shall we? " Yuki says as he glances to Ulfric. With the question from Yuki, Ulfric gives a faint nod with a wolfish grin, the last he had seen of the female was when she came to Theden and she had said she would talk with him more but had not come back so as Yuki comments about going to see her Ulfric quickly shifts direction and begins to lead the way towards the female.

"I will make you the chicken anytime you wish as long as I deem I am able and one quarter of the profits." That was her counter offer to him as she stood there. It was strange to be haggling over something like this and for a moment she thought she could quite possibly be making a deal with the lord of hell of himself with the way this was going. But for the moment it was good. She would be happy to make him the chicken as long as she was able. That would be vague enough to allow her an out if necessary. Plus she held the bucket of chicken still and that meant everything. It was good, this chicken and she just wanted to be able to recreate it, plus like the man in front of her, it was not of this realm.

Speaking of that, the clothing the man was wearing was off, as well as everything about his speech and mannerisms. Where was he from. Jayde could not place his accent nor his village of origin in his words or accent. And that was strange since that is one of the fields she studied. So with that in mind, the young padawan observed the unknown man in front of her. Thoughts on her studies brought her back to trying to find her master. Strangely enough he hadn't sent Mirage out after her yet. Another strange thing to chalk up to something odd happening with the world.

Hmmm now this was an intriguing point. Penny had known women in the past who had some business sense. Although for gods sake he wished that he didn’t. This woman seemed to be one of those annoying breeds. He wondered if they were bon in some sort of caldron of bad taste and no sandwiches. He tapped his chin, this was a deal that he could live with but ultimately one which he didn’t think was good enough. “ Ah I see you are another one of those women who has some kind of sense around these things....well I’m not usually one for bargaining...but since you have a nice ass I’ll settle for....”. He stopped and let out that grin once again

“ Thirty five percent...and all the free chicken I so desire”

The thing about Penny was he desired a lot. A lot of things, but there was going to be one issue. The girl had the bucket certainly but she lacked the mayo that was required to give the chicken its lovable non dry cream like texture. Penny loved chicken on its own but mayo would be far better. “ There is also a recipe to a secret sauce which could make it all the better...he stroked his chin...”. But we’ll discuss the trade for that later on...”. He shrugged and began to walk off towards the location of his awakening. That was going to be his final offer on that note. Without the recipe he knew she wasn’t going to have much to go on.

As Ulfric shifts directions and begins to move towards the female Jay'de, Yuki turns and follows after him. Following along side Ulfric, Yuki shifts his gaze from side to side as he begins to think about the female that had come to his village with Dravec. Thinking about the female he recalls there first meeting and now Dravec had attacked him even though he had not done anything to warrant such an action. Shaking his head faintly, Yuki try's to push such thoughts aside for the time being, perhaps now she wont be with Dravec and he can make a better first meeting, or apologize for before. Leading the way, Ulfric sniffs at the air from time to time to make sure he still has the scent of the female from before. Following after her scent, Ulfric begins to pick up his pace as he moves forwards and pulling away from Yuki. The last he had seen of the human female was in Theden and his brief first meeting with her was rather enjoyable and she had said she would talk with him at a later date, though they had not been able to do such a thing, so the prospect of seeing the female again made the large wolf push ahead of Yuki. As Ulfric begins to pull away from him, Yuki glances to the large wolf for a brief moment before turning his gaze from him, letting him move on ahead. As he moves away from Yuki, Ulfric begins to move faster, getting a few yards away from the half-breed. Making his way away from Yuki, Ulfric comes upon the two, stepping forwards his gaze first moves to Jay'de as he begins to speak, " Hello. " the large wolf says cheerfully as he looks at the female though he finally notices the male with her and glances to him.

Jayde look to the man and tried for another haggle. "30 percent of the profits and all of the chicken that we can make for you without it cutting into the profits. " Jayde was neither stupid nor ignorant of deal making. One had to come out on top of the deal for it be profitable. "Let us walk and talk anyways. We know we will be coming to an agreement, just what that agreement is remains to be seen. The name is Jayde." It would be good to know her partner's name since they would be working together on this project. Jayde would follow the unknown spirit to her new recipe barely saying much more than the haggling, until such time as they were stopped by the giant wolf that seemed to know how to speak. The wolf startled her enough to send the remainder of the chicken to the ground, spilling the last of the bucket. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she looked between the wolf and the man in the suit. Finally she crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.

It was not usually common for a wolf this size to talk to its food before trying to eat it. Her chicken lay on the ground in all its glory, and she was not a happy woman. "Hello" She replied none to happy. But she was prepared to ignore the creature if it needed to be ignored. She wasn't acting snooty just a bit peeved at loosing her lunch.

Ah yes, eating into the profits. He had to wonder if that was really possible, but thena gain he didn't know just how hungry he could get after all a lot of things had changed about him in this new world following the apocalypse. Like his powers being drained for one, that had been annoying but ultimately something he didn't much ponder on. He just looked at the girl and nodde.d Thirty per cent of profits wasn't such a bad margin and no doubt that boss lady would be happy with such a thing. It would start them off well as far as rebuilding the company went. On that note, if he was like the only real employee did that make him a board member? He didn't really want that. He was never big on the whole leadership thing. And whilst he had crafted Gera'Sey before. He had no real plans of doing so again.

Fuck that indeed.

On that note he caught a wif in the air that smelled like dog. He turned. Oh look, dogs were still alive in this world. Although this one looked a little bit more like a wolf. Bah, it spoke. So clearly it was some kind of cartoonish dog....or perhaps it belonged to the race of master dogs that were the enemies of Mitten's possible master race of cats! He looked at the dog as it stared at him and grinned.

It seemed he had startled the very female he was hoping to speak with and caused her to drop something she was holding, which was a rather unfortunate turn of events. Having noticed the man, the large wolf shifts his gaze and looks to him and nods his head faintly, " Hello there. " He says to the man before turning his gaze back to Jay'de. Turning his gaze back to Jay'de he steps forwards and begins to advance towards her under the assumption that she still new him, though she had not said his name and seemed unhappy at what had happened though lacking in knowing who he is. " I'm sorry I startled you Jay'de. " Just as the large wolf begins to talk to her, Yuki finally makes his presence known as he moves onto the screen. Moving forwards Yuki first glances to the male in the strange, but fancy, looking outfit, his gaze shifting over the male for a brief moment before he turns his gaze to Jay'de " Well, you were right... It is her. " Yuki says as he glances to the large wolf for a brief moment before lifting his gaze to look back at Jay'de, like Ulfric, he to had no clue that she didn't know who he is, " Jay'de, when you have a moment I need to speak with you about something. " Yuki says as he looks at Jay'de though he figured she already knew she left her horse in his village but he would give her a reminder so she could pick the animal up.

The wolf was talking, and even though Jayde knew there were animals out there that spoke, she was still at a loss as to what to say to a wolf. One would think that even though the beast was able to communicate to humans, it wouldn't think like a human or even take perfectly like one. Most of the other animals she had know with human communication were not one to be able to put lot into their conversations. This one was thinking like a human in and in human concepts. Plus it knew her name. A wolf was never that intelligent, which meant that this wolf was one of those demonic ones that cropped up from time to time. She continued to watch the beast and take a few steps back. Not knowing who this big wolf was, or why it knew her name, she could only assume it was sent by someone who wanted to do her harm. It was not mirage nor was it hunter. He wouldn't send beasts like this to talk to her. Not is his style. So all of this had her on edge and alarmed.

Currently she was unarmed and had no powers so she would continue to watch the beast and say nothing. Her thoughts were only confirmed about it was sent by someone looking for her, when the man stepped up. A vague memory cropped up from Hunter's memories. Hunter knew him, but the emotional signature on those memories had been twinged with disgust and dislike. Which to her meant that if her master did not like him or did not trust him, neither did she. Finally she gave voice and spoke softly as she usually did, "Excuse me sir. I will not be alone with you for two reasons. One I do not know you. And two I have prior arrangements at this point in time. To interrupt those arrangements and plans would be rude. Now if you excuse me, I have business that must be attended to." With that she turned and continued to walk the way that her and the demon had been strolling and talking. Her chicken now gone, she was a little angry.

Ah excellent she was distracted with the talking dog, this would make it so that he could easily concern himself with slipping into the contact of theirs little things like carrying this debt of chicken on to the family. Not that she had any idea that he was immortal of course. That was gonna come as a sort of shock to her no doubt when she finally figured it out. Probably take a few years though thanks to the power of his epicly awesome coat lining. He let out a cheeky smirk and thought about all that chicken . But then again the profits of the chicken would probably be more of concern to his immedite needs. But a dude had to think about tommoorw and the problems that an empty stomach could bring.

He caught onto the last bit just as Jay'De as she was apparantly called gave her reasons for not wanting to talk to the man with the wolf alone. That said someone with a wolf wanting to talk to a woman that he knew the name of ( but she didn't know him) just screamed crazy ass stalker rapist. Immedietly his bodyguard training with Shiori's other helpful assistant came into click."...Remember Wiseman...Miss Shiori is a very important woman....there will be many men out there interested in..blah blah..boobs....blahblah...grasping!....blahblah spaghetti!....blahexplosions!". . He put a finger in his ear. Huh....is that really how it went?...Regardless Penny interceded at this stage. "....Yeaahhhh we got business...". Then he kind of pointed at Yuki's face.

".......That and you kinda got that rapey look in your eyes..So lady..."

He stepped in front of Jay'De, tipped his hat slightly. Then....fireman carry run run run run! Yeah, that was one of the things he remembered from the training. And pretty sure on his ability to outrun the potiental rapist. His client in this instance would be saved ( thus vastly improving his bargaining position).

As Jay'de took a few steps back from him, Ulfric stopped as a questioning look took from on his face. He didn't know why she had stepped back nor spoke to him, the last he had seen her they where on good speaking terms, or at least he thought they where when she had left him in Theden, but here she is backing away from him as if she is afraid of him. Though Yuki had stepped for the large wolf keeps his gaze set upon Jay'de as he try's to figure out why she had not spoke to him and seemed afraid of his presence. After speaking to her, Yuki keeps his gaze set upon Jay'de, his gaze slowly shifting over her form as he looks at her. Looking at her he recalls the past thoughts he had about her and what had happened after Dravec had lashed out at him before. Though such thoughts brought anger to the half-breed, he kept such emotions hidden and listens as Jay'de begins to speak. As he listens to her a frown begins to take form upon his face as he listens to her. Though he knew he had made a bad example before and fought with her master, tried to kill him even, he didn't think she would forget about him like this, though she said she didn't know him, which was rather odd given the fact they had met at his village. Ulfric became confused as he listened to Jay'de speak, if she had no recollection of Yuki then she would not know who he is either, which brought sadness to the wolf since he was so glad to see her again. From the side, Yuki notices movement and glances to the well dressed man as he quickly takes action and grabs Jay'de. As the male grabs Jay'de, Yuki steps forwards though the male proves to be to fast for him and as he begins to run away the half-breed lets out a growl of anger, " Then I shall take your horse for my own Jay'de! " Yuki yells out as the male runs off with Jay'de, given his current state giving chase was something he wished to do though knew could prove to be fatal to him. Ulfric took off running after the two, though as he seen that Yuki is not going after them he comes to a stop and looks back to Yuki.
