He floats in a sea of nothingness with darkness as his guide and nothingness as his light. An abyss of the void coats his form as he continually ceases to exist. There was another version of him, some false pseudo image of a man, only in appearance. At the moment, this formerly mentioned man would be working in the fields of a farmland of Medius. His body would be tanned with the light of the sun shining down on him; sweat would wet his body to a light sheen as he worked in toiling the lands in which he lived. Growing a vegetable close to that of corn, he would be out within the fields, stabbing the earth with a heavy hoe and breaking it apart in series of tasks that would probably span the width of the day.
This false other him-version would soon glow with a bright light and burst radiantly as the original comes to take the place of the copy cat by will of the gods. It would be a little delayed with the effects of the Wings of the Sky, but in order to summon a being this great, time was necessary. Thus, immediately into this vessel, as water pouring into a cup, life and memories flow in hailing of the time that existed before the time of the current realm. The man who was toiling in the earthy fields basking in the sunlight becomes erect as he looks forwards. Processes occur within mind and soul that fully change what was to what is. Years pass through the mind in the manner of seconds as the man stares with a blank expression out towards the distant horizon… and then finally the man blinks.
Looking around, he remembers that he was previously speaking to Sanzon… but his surroundings were unfamiliar to him. There was a bright red flash and then a sea of nothingness and now he was here. The former warlord would notice his weapons manifest on the ground with a bracelet on his right arm. Looking back up, he would notice the plain clothes which he was wearing as well as the tool in his hand. “What manner of foolishness is this…” he would sneer, releasing the hoe and allowing it to fall onto the ground. Unsure on his surroundings or what was going on, the entity known as Domen Yun would instinctively look around and call out “…Paco!” If ever there were a time for his attendant to arrive, this would be it. His voice, however, drew no one to him; especially not a small flying fairy. Instead it seemed to draw concerned expressions from the other villagers who were tending to other portions of the field. Somewhat annoyed, Domen would move to Rei, as he always heeded his call. Thus, his voice yelled boisterously, “Boy!...” Still there was nothing. Growing weary of not being answered, the demon decided that it was time to return to his domain, and there he would find the answers of which he sought.
With that, he reaches down and equips his items onto his personage and then stands in order to get a bearing on his position as it related to the skies and celestial bodies. Pressing off of the ground, his body lifts into the air and he begins flying south east, immediately noticing the decrease in his flying speed and not happy with it.

Sweet nothingness, drifting in a sea of tranquility. Peace. She had finally reached the place of everlasting night. But in this nothingness there was consciousness to a certain extent. Something kept her here, floating. A ship adrift in the waters of the soul, a ship without a bearing or course. Without sail or rudder, carried and pulled by the gentle currents of the soul. A simple existence of being. But this was not right, she was missing a part of herself. A gentle tug on her soul, a line cast out of the ship. An anchor to another time, another world, another being. What was this? Her ears picked up a breezy hum and it felt good. Feeling? In this place of gentle nothingness. The line hooked around her leg and tugged once. Another feeling, a soft caress, a feeling of millions of tiny fibers on the body. Something was different, but the soul was happy in its ocean of blankness and it ignored the gentle tugs of time. This was the night of the soul, the twilight here after.
Much like her Lord and Master, a being much like herself, a clone was present. Hair as sliver as the rays of the moon full upon the night sky, eyes the color of molten pewter just as the original. Instead of the silver silks her body had once known rough furs and animal hides adorned her slender, regal frame. Dressed in rags she still emitted the same unearthly beauty she once had. This copy was poking around the ruin of a temple, turning over various stones for some reason. Looking for some unknown artifact. The carbon copy would every so often look off longingly in the distance, a wistful look in those pewter eyes. The sun shown down and revealed that the once slight tan she had was still there. It was a harsh life, but one could say her body still was still in great shape as if survival had been good for it.
The yearning of time and the tugging of the soul went vastly ignored by the very essence of the once proud priestess. Happiness was not a concern of the essence, just the soft lap of the sea around her. Until finally, as if weary of trying to be gentle with the stubborn soul, a strange creature made of two forms merged together scooped her essence up along with a few more. Into a big jar they went, dumped together and swirled around as the large creature watched them swirling around, the tranquility broken for the them moment. Seeming satisfied, the being poured the essence out and they scattered like stars in the inky twilight. Being ripped apart and reformed was difficult to the say the least. Pain was not something to be experience in the afterlife, so it didn't hurt, but the swirling and dumping and the scattering to the four winds was a bit thinning.
The body of priestess would stop and look to the northwest for a moment, her eyes growing wide, pupils dilating as the soul that was currently filling it was ripped out and hers was dumped in. The Priestess sank to the ground in wonder a look of sickness on her face. To be ripped from the afterlife and tossed back into the wide world, one that looked like it had gone through the same blending process that she had been. A low growl came from cliff side portion of the temple. A large tiger, pounced on her and began licking her. What was going on? Slowly her memories returned... Kaelas "Kaelas, remove your paw from my chest" What in the heavens was she wearing. And why was the temple in ruins? With a push, she had the large tiger off her as she scrambled up. "Lord Domen is not going to be happy"

The flight was annoyingly long, which couldn’t be helped, for, without the lack of simply free falling, the demon couldn’t seem to accelerate his speed to the point of which he was used to. After a while, he figured that it had something to do with him being unconscious, but through the time he had to himself as he flew over the lands of Terra below him, he did notice some things that didn’t seem quite right. He wondered if perchance the realms had gone out of order again, mixing the past realm and the present realm in an odd way. He did remember some very odd happenings during the battle of the apocalypse and attributed his findings to that. Either way, in his mind, he knew that the battle had been won, with himself primarily to blame, aside from the two super powered entities that seemed to catch his attention. There was no doubt in his mind that he would one day meet with those two powerful entities… but only he didn’t know that they no longer existed as he believed them to.
Either way, adequate time passed to bring the demon onto the door steps of his kingdom. Looking down and into it, he, at first, didn’t recognize it. It looked as if something were the matter with his temple and he wondered if the battle had reached Domenance… it was as if no place in the world was safe from that battle. The towering demon lowers his body down, probably gaining attention in the process, though with Kami’s living among humans, one flying demon shouldn’t be a huge deal. Domen found a place to land near the sunken priestess and past pounced tiger who seems to have noticed that the area was different as well. With a stern frown on his face, his arms fold as his feet touch the ground and he looks to his temple. After looking from there, he glances around him and notices that he does not see familiar faces around. His aides and builders whom he could recognize didn’t seem to be around, just peasants dressed oddly with some casting odd glances. Looking directly to Kazakura, Domen would inquire, “what is the meaning of this?”

At about the time that she was speaking of Domen, he appeared. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Kazakura looked at him, her chin tilting up. She quickly gathered her wits about her, never had she lied to him, even when it brought his wrath, nor would she lie to him now. Thinking back on everything that happened before she had appeared out here in rags with a tiger that had no wings, wait Kaelas was wingless? The silvered gaze glanced over to the tiger for a moment, distracted by their pet's lack of flight. Her look was puzzled for a brief second as that gazed returned to her lord. "I do not know, my lord I remember a bright red flash and then I was here, staring at ruins. But I will find out." Her saddle was still on Kaelas with the bow and quiver. Her armor was... where was her armor?
The usually very calm High Priestess, looked a bit perplexed as she turned around in a full 360 circle before walking up the great stairs that were once grand to behold, now cracked and overgrown. With a motion of her hand she spoke on of her time altering spells, "A glimpse into the past, reveals the future." But what was usually a shimmer of silvery light while her spell formed, was nothing. Those eyes looked down at her hand in disgust and then back up to Domen. "My Lord... my magic?" She slowly breathed out remaining calm, she took everything in stride. "I cannot cast my spells" As she waited for him to speak, she continued to look about, using her booted foot to over torn tumbled stones. A right move revealed the edge of a chest. Bending down she began to move the rubble off of it.
The chest was the one that they used to store items. As she opened the chest, she noticed that the lock was rusted and broken. Inside were clothing and such, save for a set of silken garments of silver with the mithril mesh that served as her armor. She pulled it out and noticed the age and wear of the chest. It had seen the weather for a long time. Under hers were the garments of Domen. Picking them up she moved back down the stairs and offered them to him. Finally noticing his own strange attire. It was clear some time had past without them. -448/1146-

A frown forms slightly when it is understood that the priestess did not have the answers which he required. He knew that he couldn’t expect much, since she was only a mortal woman after all. That aside, he knew that if Paco or Rei were around, they would probably have the answers to his questions. Still, it seemed that she did recall the bright red light as well. That drew extra attention to the instance as greater detail and purpose was given to it. A low, “hmm…” is murmured by the large male as glances to the side in internal reflection.
His attention is once again garnered when the priestess calls for him once more. Something about her magic. There was a sigh of annoyance as he began to reevaluate her usefulness in practical situations. Aside from that, the fact bothered him the civilians who were around weren’t actively reveling in his presence and worshipping him. He walks towards her and murmurs, “a priestess who knows not magic?...” As he neared the temple, he started noticing the décor of skulls and such. For a moment he wondered who would have defiled his home in such a short amount of time.
He allows her to move towards the chest as words come from the side. A guard of the inhabiting clan approaches and speaks, “what are you two doing? You’re acting strangely.” Dismissively, Domen lifts his hand to the fool who would dare speak so casually to him. His words are simple as he casts dark skies with “begone in darkness” to make an example of this man. Oddly enough nothing happens. The guard tilts his head to the side and looks at Domen funny, but aside from that, nothing of merit occurs. Assuming him to be a drunk farmer, he turns to the upset Kazakura and inquires, “is everything alright, woman?”

A small frown formed on the face of the beauty that was Kazakura at the voice of the intruder. She was rustling around in the chest bringing out a few things, her silver armbands were tarnished with age. She always kept them polished, what was the meaning of this? Her head perked up as she heard her lord's verbal casting. If he was casting that spell, she needed to get out of the way. As she quickly rose, she noticed that the skies did not darken, the strike did not come. In a strange mirroring of his own stance earlier, she frowned and folded her arms across her chest. The frown was to keep herself from smirking or giggling, since she knew that would be more likely to bring his wrath upon her. It appeared he was also at a loss for magic.
The frown was soon replaced by a look of perplexed thought. If Domen had no access to his spell, and neither did she. It meant they were both weak. Domen would hate being this weak after so long. But then again, so did she. For her though, questions arose as to if she could advance past the point she had once been. The priestess would have to think on that later. Domen would soon be realizing he was in a severe weakened state, and his mood would turn exceedingly dark. She was safe from actual harm, but the people around here, the ones that no long seem to worship him or give him more than a curious look would suffer. Kazakura knew that she might receive the odd physical blow for failure, but he would not kill her. These people he would. If nothing else, he would seek to grow stronger then come back to wipe them from existence.
The man soon addressed her while she was deep in thought. That thoughtful look took on the frown once more as the priestess glanced to the man. Remaining calm, even though no one but Domen spoke to her thus, she spoke in her normal soft tones. "Everything is fine. Could you tell me, sir, where are we? And what happened to this temple? To the glorious empire that once stood here?" The questions, they may think, were rather strange or even obvious to them, but to the two here, it was as if they were waking up from a dream and falling into a nightmare or an alternate reality.

A plastered look of rage and ‘what the fuck’ was written across the demon’s face as he is unable to understand the reason to just why the man was still living. It was a very annoying thing to have occurred indeed, and his embarrassment was only brought upon him due to the fact that the guard was a hybrid himself. In his rage, he didn’t notice that the people he thought were looking at him oddly were in fact looking at Kazakura due to the fact that as a demon, he had not yet gained a physical form. Luckily, the not-so-bright guard wasn’t privy to this information at the moment and he didn’t recognize the dark aura that would be emitting about Domen. Instead, he would be more visually entertained with the lovely Kazakura to whom he had spoken.
As the man answers Kazakura, Domen would be busy being mad and confused. The guard gives Kazakura an odd look before he seems to get it and nods with a grin on his face. “You know,” he begins as he turns and looks to the temple, “like you, I am a thinker as well. I’ve asked myself these same questions. Where are we? Why are we here? What was here before us… Who created Labrum…?” He signs and rubs his chin before he comments, “alas, men have spent their entire lives… smart men at that… at trying to figure out just what type of people inhabited this world before us. Like this temple for instance… it must have been a great place… but since no one in this world knows of the land before the Dawn, it will forever be a mystery. Perhaps gods place this here and created this world for us to live in. Who knows…?” He continues to look in awe of his own theological savoir-faire and the wise words which he believed he just spoke.

While Domen took a moment to recover, his priestess continued to accept the growing situation at hand. The Demon Lord had been reduced to a shadowy version of himself, but since Kazakura had been seeing Domen for so long, she never thought twice about his appearance and whether or not others could see him. There first meeting had been extremely interactive. As to the darkness about him, that was normal with his abilities. The man, whom she thought might actually have a smidgeon of a brain cell, proved himself to really have none at all. But this was all she had to work with at the moment. And since Domen was pretty much the useless one at the moment as he slowly crawled toward the acceptance of his vanished powers, destroyed empire, and missing lifestyle. Gently and regally she nodded, she was a high priestess, had been for a good part of her life, interacting with people is what she did.
The man continued on with his little insight and she gleaned the information she needed from it. Apparently the great empire of Domenance was now called Labrum and it had been like that since the dawn? The emphasis on the word 'the' had her thinking that the man wasn't meaning this morning. And apparently no one knew of what had happened to the land prior to this Dawn. Being the once priestess of time, she knew that the fact that the temple was here, was not that they had gone pack further in time, but something had happened in the future. She knew that causing so much time distortion as that portal into the future would result in something as strange as this. But was this future of Yochi or the future of the vast city that Jyn had told her about? It was a confusing topic to think about. It was time to encourage the stupidity of this man so she could glean more information without seeming to be out of place with these people.
"Yes, it is rather sad that we do not know more about this place. It had to be gran indeed. I wonder if... Labrum was the original name. How did it come to be named Labrum and who named it?" She trailed off for a moment and smiled sweetly at the man, encouraging his participation in the conversation and answering of her questions. "Whoever lived here must have been powerful, just like....." She motioned towards the skull decorated village in hopes that man would supply the leaders name. "Also it makes you wonder how long the keeper of this temple live and reigned especially since its been so long since the dawn... what like how many years does it make now?" She asked in mock awe and wonder.

In the background, Domen would reject the notion that his will was not being set in reality. He would be in the process of attempting to channel energy while thrusting out his arm out in odd intervals after said chants, attempting to send out orbs of energy. With no major target for this, he would thrust his palm at Kaelas, seeing if he could shoot energy at the beast. He hadn’t even noticed that it was currently wingless and less demonic than before, but he was confident that if he shot a lower powered orb at it, that it would be able to withstand it with her great power as well. After all, she was a mount who had gone into battle with him before and he had great confidence in her. All of this was the inability to accept the fact that his powers were not currently at his disposal.
The man didn’t think twice about Kazakura’s questions, rather, he was encouraged by it since it made him look smarter to state what was obvious in the culture that had arisen at that place. He would speak, “it has been called so since I started living here, which wasn’t long after the dawn. Hmm… that may have been twenty or so years ago… I forget… But, I’m one of its oldest residents…” There were nothing to test those facts against, but he said it as if it were true. “Kyrojin lead us barbarians to settle this land… and we have been fighting off the influence of the Exalted Desert Tribe for quite some time.”

Kaelas looked down and wondered at his sudden sex change. His master must not want him to breed a strong stock of mounts and war beasts for him. Sadly that would be his master's loss. Now the tiger sat on its massive haunches and watched his master's futile attempts at casting a spell at him. A simple head tilt conveyed his wonder at his Master's sudden weakness. With a mighty yawn, he conveyed his bored feelings and stretched out before the once mighty demon lord, placing his head on his paws and his belly on the ground. The beast was not worried overly much and promptly closed his eyes. To his mind, his own new found weakness was due to his master and mistress loosing their powers. Without Domen's power to taint the creature, then Kaelas couldn't fly or do most of his other neat little tricks. He was fully confident that would soon change. He was their creation after all. Domen's taint and Kazakura's magic had created him into the almost as large a single story house that he was. At least he was still that.
Kazakura on the other hand continued to listen to the man, while half watching Domen trying to summon power that she had already realized they no longer hand. A cruel shift of fate, for once the priestess was the one thinking straight. Eventually he would come to grips with it and they would figure out a way to gain back all they had lost. It had been twenty years since people had lost their minds apparently. Twenty years since the flash. A long time in the life of most mortals. But then again those from Yochi tended to live longer. When she had spoken to Jyn, the difference was astounding. She refocused on what the man was saying and nodded with an encouraging smile. "You are very helpful. This concerns me though, that no one remembers prior to... twenty years ago... And where is the exalted tribe? and who is their leader? How big are they?" She took a step away from the chest of belongings. "I thank you for speaking with me on such heavy matters. Perhaps you could tell me if there was an underground portion of this temple?" -422/2522-

As it would turn out, Domen was so distraught over his own loss of power it resulted in the mental emasculating of his first son of another species. Seeing the creature calmly deal with him in an unthreatened manner, Domen would pause for a moment and realize that something was very wrong. His mind would begin to calculate things and try to make some sense out of what had happened to him. According to his thoughts, he understood that when Natsuki had first summoned him to this realm, he had a lapse in power. After overhearing that some time had passed from the man speaking to Kazakura, Domen could only assume that he had been a victim of yet another summoning where his current powers were sealed and would unseal over time as they had before. Though it was a very annoying thing to occur, it would explain things in a fashion that was relatable to the former warlord. Still, all of the information he was receiving as he was calming was very distressing to him. He had built this kingdom from the ground up and now humans ran it? That was unacceptable. Looking at the man here, Domen would imprint his face into his mind as he would be the messenger to be shot in the near future. For now, the golem of a man simply hung back and allowed his priestess to gather information for him.
The man smiles as he is referred to as being helpful. His face turns to concern as he readily answers her other questions, speaking, “you must really stay inside a lot. Your master must not allow you to socialize with others… but I suppose for a woman, such things are unnecessary. You’re lucky for I’m a pretty nice guy.” After the exclaimer, he would continue, “The Exalted Desert Tribe are the men from Rajeh; the largest village in the desert that is to the west of here. They are the largest tribe in the desert and very formable to fight back against us and the other tribes of the desert. They say the leader is a man called the Desert Serpent; he is a very strong man indeed.” Motioning to Domen, the man comments, “you’re not… spoke for, are you woman?” It could be told that he was about to hit on her.

When Domen had finally calmed down and looked like he had finally come to grips with reality, the priestess had to bite her tongue not to chuckle. She had never seen Domen so flustered or decomposed. That had the power to make her worry for his mental stability. But for the moment, she caught the look he shot the idiot speaking to her and knew that he was on her lord's death list. Albeit it was a very short list as Domen's enemies never lasted very long upon this realm or any other for that matter. Kazakura had seen Domen quietly angry, she had seen him quietly observing without a hint of emotion, she had seen him so many things, always quiet, never at such a loss. Seijin had once asked why she didn't just leave him. It was because of a lot of things. It was complicated she had said. Kazakura would have to sum it up with an example of a moment like this. Because when he was at loss or weak, he allowed her to see him as such. He was what he was, and never had he lied about that. Those here, especially the man before her would die for seeing him in this weakened state, if for no other reason than to make a point of his strength.
The way that the man was talking down to her, she was about to lose her peacefulness. No mortal man, ever talked her like he was superior. She was once the high priestess of the temple time, she once had her pick of suitors, she was still Domen's priestess and consort. No mortal ever spoke to her in such a way. A master? Did he really think that something as common such as himself could hope of taming her? Kazakura saw red for a moment and gritted her teeth. Mentally she counted to ten and then took a breath, calming herself. She had no magic to back up her own version of power, so for now she would just have to use her speaking skills. Looking at the man and then back to Domen. She looked back to the mortal and asked, "Yes, I am spoken for."

After hearing the man’s words, Domen felt as if he had heard enough. The demon felt that had the clues which he needed in order to begin the reformation for his being. The fact that the man didn’t seem to recognize anything about an underground section of the temple meant that there were a chance that his lair had gone untampered with. Around this time, Domen also figured out by putting together the dots with the people who passed, that he was in his spiritual form, meaning that the man was special somehow but normal humans wouldn’t be able to see him. This would also be his assumption since it was how he started out last time when summoned by Natsuki. Ignoring the man further, after having memorized his visage, Domen’s attention shifts to the task of checking on his lair; so in moving on, he speaks, “come Kaelas.”
Domen walks off, heading alongside the temple in the direction of the cliff; if uninterrupted he would reach the edge of the cliff and look over it at the ocean that spanned out into the seeming infinite.
The man takes Domen walking off as encouragement, misunderstanding the fact that he’s been temporarily discarded in the demon’s mind since his fate had already been settled. Receiving Kazakura’s question, he grins, “well, I’m a romantic, so if you had a man, I would not steal you away from him.” In an attempt to look suave, he would add, “but if you were unable to control yourself, I would take you. I’m very influential in this clan and have many things. I could do things for you if you did things for me.”

Kaelas looked up and yawned. The feline gave a great stretch and slowly got up and followed along with Domen. His motions and slow, sleepy gait showed how much he despised moving at the moment. The sun was high and it was nap time. Plus no fighting had broken out. So why was he needed. Some might wonder at how the large white tiger was controlled by both of them, but like most of Kazakura's belongings, he ultimately belong to and followed the Demon Warlord. In his furry head, he would hate to see the two of them break apart, since he considered them to both to be 'his' bipedal 'parents.' The priestess raised him, Domen made him stronger. It was the way parents were suppose to raise their young. Although the feline was missing his counterpart. The tiny fairy Paco. He loved the taste of fairy wings in the morning. As he finally moved his weight to sit beside the demon, much taller than warrior beside him. His stomach rumbled as he gazed out at the ocean. His main thought of fish.
Kazakura sigh as she watched two of the four major males of her life wander off. At least her lord had not sought to kill this idiot right now. But still she listened to the guard's chatter and smiled pleasantly at him. "That is a romantic notion, but as you can see." Her hand motioned in the direction of Domen and the cat. "That was my Lord and Master." With that she turned and started to walk off behind the two males, "Thank you for your help." she called as she walked up behind the pair, taking her place to the right of Domen. She neither said anything or offered anything. Theirs was a relationship of quiet strength. When he was ready to speak he would.

The man would be let down a bit that the woman would stick with the large lump that didn’t seem to be right in the head. Either way, he had enjoyed his talk with the lovely former priestess and would allow her passage with a lingering “farewell, lovely lady, in that case…” His gaze would trail after her for a moment before he would grin, shake his head and then continue about his patrols and the various things that he would do during the day. There was no real need for him to bother people who wished to gaze at the sea.
Domen’s gaze would shift to the side as Kazakura approaches, but would say nothing. Following in his investigation, he would take a step off of the cliff and begin slowly flying down its edge; it was a good thing that he was still able to fly. As he floats down, he sees the familiar landing spot that he used formerly in the past, and in coming to it, he lands on an out jutted rock that trailed towards a concave area guarded by two glass doors. He could tell that they were worn and weathered from years of not being used. His hand comes to press against it, but there is some resistance as the hinges are rusted over and filled with sediment. With a sharp push, the door gives way in a manner where it falls from the doorway and falls into the interior of the internal cavern area, shattering onto the ground on impact. With a frown, Domen would look down at it before ignoring it and taking his first steps back into his former domain. If Kazakura were to follow him down, he would inquire her thoughts to the situation they were in.

She basically ignored what the man had left to say as she had walked away. Kaelas looked down at the two of them and then settled back down on the ground, like the lazy house cat he was. His tail hung over the edge as he laid facing the direction of the villagers. To most he would appear to be sleeping, but the large cat had positioned himself so that he was guarding his two masters. He knew he couldn't fly anymore and that was the biggest problem. He couldn't transport Kazakura down to the ledge.
Now for Kazakura, it was difficult to watch him go over the edge and know that she would have trouble following. She couldn't fly on her own. Never had been able to which was one of the things Domen use to look down on her for. She knew that in his mind, she was a mere human and weak because of it. It was the truth, she had always been weaker than him, until today. If it seemed like she was gloating, she was. But Domen would never know that. Right now all she wanted was to see him back to his former glory and his will carried out. Was it love, for her part yes. Was it love on his? Could a demon really love? The priestess didn't know about that, but she liked to believe that he felt something close to that for her, as close as he could ever get. But that was not for thought right now. The priestess had to figure out a way to get down to the ledge on her own.
As she paced back and forth trying to rack her brain for a way down without being able to used the secret tunnel, Kaelas twitched his tail. What followed next was a strange sort of events for the usually swift and graceful Kazakura. The tail tripped her up and she fell backwards and off the cliff. A free fall had her heading straight for the rocks and surf below. Normally she would have called out, but something, a force of will, magic. Kazakura was not certain, she slowed and began to float in midair. Never to look a gift horse in mouth, the priestess started to slowly will herself to ascend and finally came to ledge. Softly and gently she touched down and looked back over the ledge. That was rather new, apparently she could fly. Why was that?
Quickly she turned and caught up with the demon as he inquired as to her feelings on the situation. She knew better than to give her feelings, but knew to assess the situation around them and speak the facts. They were twenty years or more in the future, they were powerless and weak, his empire lay in ruins overrun by barbarians. "We could rebuild, take back what is rightfully yours here in this place. Or you could select another place to begin again. The power to conquer these people could lie in the fact that we have knowledge of what came before and could use that to assure your godhood again."

Listening to his priestess, the former king walks into his abode, filthy with dust and rodents who had made the place their home after its abandoning. His back would be to her, but he would nod partially to her words as he walked along the edge of his former front room. She had brought up an interesting set of options. Though he attempted not to be prone to being attached to earthly things, the village of Domenance was one of his few possessions that he had grown accustomed to, much like the priestess herself. It would be foggy which were higher up on the totem pole of thing, but both were pretty important to him in the fact that he felt that they should simply be his as a manner of the universe operating normally. Rebuilding elsewhere wouldn’t be as pleasing as retaking his throne here, but these people were not his like his former area, so leading them would not be the same. Either way, the situation was messed up and there was little that could be done by it. The good thing was that he didn’t need to make any decisions at the moment. His first priority was reclaiming his power, and then after that, everything else would fall into place. Aside from that, he needed a place to live and currently this area was filthy.
“This place needs to be cleaned,” he would speak into the universe setting a course for a portion of his will to be done. Turning, he informs Kazakura, “this will be our home as it has been. See to it that the current chaos in it is corrected.” As he looks to her, he notices that Kaelas was not with her and remembered that the tiger did not have wings. With that, he inquires, “you are able to fly?”

She walked behind him, careful in her footing. Everything was dirty, filthy and in such disarray that Kazakura was saddened. Their home, the first part of his empire built, was looking like more of a cave now than the beautiful home, she had helped decorate. Moving into the front room, she swatted at cobwebs and looked at the rotted rug. She could not believe how much time had passed. But still, she was no stranger to the ravages of time. But to have it happen like this when it was just yesterday that she was here waiting for him to return. Turning her body she faced through the doorway into the room that had once been their bedchambers. The frame was still there of the bed, but the fabric was ripped and torn, the mirror over her dressing table was cracked and shattered, its pieces scattered on the floor.
The priestess released a sorrowful sigh, forgetting that Domen was there for a moment. What was she going to do with this place if they did remain here. Her lord's voice held that note she had learned to heed well. It was the same tone he had used with her upon their second meeting and onward. Each time he spoke of his will being done. Turning, her molten silver gaze moved upwards and met his demonic one. When his order had been given that they would live here as they had before, she knew it was going to be her blood and back that would be working to clean it. She replied with her typical answer to his commands. "As you wish, my lord." There were times that she referred to him as her lord or master, times to refer to him in just deference, and times to refer to him by his name. Now was neither the time for the lord nor the name. They were neither in front of others, nor were they at ease. His question caught her a bit off guard as the air of the moment shifted from semi-formal with him dictating his will, to him as conversational as he got. "Apparently, whatever caused us to miss twenty years, caused some differences in my natural abilities."

Domen’s gaze would reside on Kazakura for a moment with her answer before he would nod slowly. He found it curious that she had suddenly gained the ability to fly and the cat no longer could. He assumed it was his presence that had caused the demonic growth in the cat, but he wondered if perhaps he had affected her somehow. Along this line of thinking comes the theory that perhaps a portion of his power was encased, or sealed, inside of Kazakura. In that case, it would only make sense to him that in order to attempt to unlock said sealed power, the easiest way would be to have sex with her. Unfortunately, the current array of the household would coax him against such action. He didn’t feel like doing it on a bed of cobwebs, so he would allow Kazakura to clean the area thoroughly before lying with her in that manner. Thus, his mind was still on gaining more knowledge about the current world, and he knew for that he had to run into more people whom he recognized as they may know more than he at the moment. As things normally turned out, Sanzon or someone similar usually popped up around times like these. He made his mind that he would fly back towards the place where the fighting had ensued and look around that location for clues; afterwards he would return to hopefully a clean house. Thus, with his current will set, he would inform Kazakura, “begin your cleaning now. I shall return before night fall and when I do, I will be taking your body.”

Well if she thought he had changed in twenty odd years, the priestess was wrong. His blunt manner was still the same. And the way he exerted his will was still the same. But what did she expect. "It will be done." She spoke as she looked about the living area and knew she would have to get help or spend the rest of the day cleaning herself. This was a job that could take all week. But she would start on the bedroom and bathroom first. Then onto the living room, his study. Her head perked up and she wondered if the spells placed upon the building plans still held. Time should not have touched those scrolls. That could help her get the water flowing again if she had access to that. Plus she might be able to find away to coax a few of the women up there into helping her, but why would they help her. Time to get to cleaning herself it would seem.
Those silver eyes move to meet his. "Could you take Kaelas? I know he cannot fly, but perhaps the run will do the lazy beast some good." She knew better than to tell him that she feared for his safety in his weakened state, but that was the real reason for her telling him to take large white beast. That and the fact the cat would be underfoot here. She would be down her going through the chests and rooms, looking to see if any of her time magic had survived. And to see if she could somehow clear the tunnel up to the ruins of the temple. A few things would make this easier for her. Her mind lost in thought of the task ahead, she waited for him to answer. It would be too much for him to actually give her parting kiss. He was a demon after all and at the moment, she was being viewed as an object. But that was his way and it was as it was. The priestess lived with it.

There is a frown at the request. In his mind, the beast would only slow him down given the fact that it could no longer fly. But, Domen did realize that if he refused to slow down for the creature and it got lost, then there would be nothing he could do. It would actually be for the best, since there was no need to have further weakness around him. With that train of thought, the demon would conclude that it didn’t matter if the beast went with him or not, and it was primarily that way of thinking and fatherly neglect that had gotten the creature strong in the first place.
Domen would not give a verbal response at the request; instead his eyes would trail from hers and he would proceed beyond her towards the entranceway of his broken abode. The glass makes a crunching noise under his feet as he continues forth to the outjutting rock that overlooked the oceans. Taking his leave, he would lift up into the air and travel up the cliff’s face until he reached the ledge where the tiger had been last seen. He would simply stand there, hovering in the air for a moment, looking at the creature. He wondered if it were truly worth his attention if it had grown lazy. Either way, he would oblige the priestess by speaking to the creature, “Kaelas, come and don’t fall behind.” It was an impossible task, but the one given nonetheless. Without further ado, his body would take to the skies and head due north.

Kaelas would be up to following him and would most likely have difficult keeping up, but he would be good at tracking his demon master. He would know that it was time for them all to grow stronger. As for Kazakura, she watched her Lord depart and let out a sigh as she then glanced around to her task. It was time to get started. Flight back up to the cliff ledge was her first order of business. Followed by her needing to go into in the village to do some trading and perhaps even do some studying of the religion in the area to see what she had to content with. It was time for her to start spreading the word of Domen as God among mere mortals around.
The priestess was optimistic about this new beginning. If they did not know what the gods looked like, then it gave them a clean slate to draw on. Plus she could offer these people much more than their current priests, she was far sure of it. As she walked about the village, bargaining for simple cleaning supplies, a thought occurred to her. People of Yochi lived to be well into their three hundredth year. So some of those settled here might still be theirs. Hope was always there. That was when she heard a familiar voice, low and gruff from behind her. Turning on her heel she eyed the man, dark skinned, holding his cap in his hand, big and then her eyes grew wide as he stared at her, wringing his cap in his hands. "Priestess, You are here."
She turned fully and almost embraced the big man, "Hakim, do you remember anything? I remember waking up here this morning. But found out quickly that we have been gone for twenty years" The big man just nodded, apparently it was the same with him. Kazakura continued with the man as she looked about, "Are there any others?" "A few that I have found, my priestess." "Good, Lord Domen just left and will be returning tonight. I am charged with repairing and cleaning our home. Could you and yours be of help? The temple is ruined and passage blocked." "My wife and her sisters will help with the cleaning, you should not have to do something like that. My brother and son will help me with clearing out the passageway." "Thank you so much, Hakim, I am so glad to see you. Lord Domen will be happy to know that we have you if nothing else." "We are glad, as always to be of help, my priestess." "Hakim, Domen is a God among mortal. See to it that the others spread the word." "Yes Priestess" The man smiled big and then turned to leave. "Will he forgive our failure at protecting his domain." "Hakim, strange times have befallen us, we have missed twenty years. We are weakened by that, but Domenance will grow strong again, and these people will worship my Lord as the God he is." "Yes Priestess. Well will see to it." He handed her a bag of things and she blinked. "What is this?" "The currency of this realm we are in, you may need them to get new things for the Lord's comfort" "Thank you Hakim, you are a treasure among men."
With that they parted ways as she continued on her quest to study the ways of the religion of this area and to grow stronger.
