The Leader's Foresight

Night was beginning to fall over the village of Thesden. The members of the small village were starting to make their way home with the village settling down after a hard day of work. There would be the sound of wolves in the distance roaming around the village in packs, familiars created by Yuki (yes… by you) created to prowl the areas around the village at night. It would also be useful if Yuki had the ability to sense through them… like a new technique that did that. Either way, the conversation between Jyn and Yuki had gone well earlier, and as promised, Jyn would be waiting for the village leader in order to have their chat by dinner. Since he had to get Battousai’s training out of the way, Jyn would be returning to the house later than Yuki, but by now, they would have switched bodies. This would still be in the days before Battousai left the village, and as stated to Sera either in the future or in the past, he would have to go for something this big in their lives. Either way, Yuki would have a gameplan to work on in their absence.

Jyn would come past a few houses coming from the meadowlands on his way to the main house. Reaching the house, he would place his palm on the door and open it up to see if his friend were here and if he, or his servants, had food awaiting him.

After a days hard work Yuki was glad to retire to his house for the night, however before he did such a thing he made sure to call upon his wolf familiars and send them out into the forest around the village to prowl around like guards. Having arrived first at his house Yuki is forced to wait in his companion since it seemed the male is running a bit late, though since he is running a bit late Yuki has time to take care of things in preparation for there meeting and gets together some of the females from the village to prepare some food for them.

When Jyn arrived Yuki was not the first to greet him, instead one of the females Yuki had come to his house was the first to greet Jyn as he pushes the door open. The female turns her attention to the door when she hears the door swing open and as Jyn makes his entrance into the house he would be greeted with a warm smile before the young lady would bow her head as she speaks, " Greetings sir. " She says softly with her head bowed a moment longer before she lifts her head to look at Jyn, still smiling warmly at the male. " Would you like something to drink? " She asks. The other women in the room stood opposite the table that had been pulled out into the living room so they cold sit and eat at, though Yuki wasn't in the room with the two females.

After passing through the threshold of the house, Jyn is surprised to see a young lady greeting him instead of Yuki. Pausing for a moment, a smile comes to his face and he counter greets, “good evening.” He thought to himself that it seemed as if his friend had taken his advice in delegating tasks such as cooking around here. Now only if he could only understand the important of the maid and apron uniforms. From the smell of the room, he could tell that dinner was a given. With the question that comes in, Jyn nods and states, “sure, I can use something to drink.” After all, his body had been in use in Battousai’s training. An after exercise drink was more than welcomed. Jyn closes the door behind him and steps more into the interior of the room. As he comes in, he would casually ask while visually taking in the images of the females, “so where’s the village leader at? Is he still out working on houses?” He would also add in a social tone, “how are you ladies liking the renovations to the village?” It felt a little like he was in a guest even though these were his quarters as well.

The young lady keeps her gaze set upon Jyn as he greets her, a smile still on her visage and as he answers her question about a drink she gives a faint nod, " Alright. Please have a seat if you wish. " She says, gesturing to one of the chairs sitting next to the table before she turns her attention away from him and moves to take care of his drink. The other young lady works on setting the table up for the two to eat, on the table rests a plate with some pork and beef, a plate with some greens, another with some fruit and lastly a plate with some breads on it. As Jyn ask's his question the first young lady glances to him for a moment before turning her attention back to the drink she is poring for him as she speaks, " No, he is done with that for the day he is washing up actually. ". The second young lady turns her attention to Jyn now that she has finished setting up the table, " They are very nice. " She says with a faint nod as she moves around the table over to Jyn. Having finished with his drink the first young lady turns and offers him a glass of water, " I hope this is alright but if you'd like I can poor you a mug of mead if you'd like. "

When offered to take a seat Jyn smirks “thanks” and makes his way to the table in order to do so. After sitting down in one of the chairs next to the table, Jyn leans forwards and rests his elbows on the table while looking after the lovely hostesses trying to figure out which one should be the made and which one should be the bare apron. It would be a moe overkill to do both, so only one should be done in order for it to be proper, or at least that was how Jyn felt about the situation.

To the second lady, Jyn speaks in a playful tone, “ah so he does take baths…” It would be something that Jyn would tease Yuki about later. The joke would be better coming from Jyneil, but she hadn’t showed up in a while, plus technically Yuki did not know she was housed with them.

When the glass is offered, Jyn reaches up and takes it, speaking a thankful, “appreciate it” before sitting it on the table while still holding it with his right hand. He shakes his head and speaks, “nah, this is fine for now. Me and the leader have some important things to discuss, so it’s probably best that I’m sober.“ Moving onto them, he would socially ask, “so, I’m Jyn… what are you guys’ names?”

When the comment comes from the white haird male about Yuki taking a bath both the two females giggle lightly at the comment from him. As he takes the offered drink she gives a faint nod before slowly stepping back as he declines the offer for a different drink, " Alright, just let me know when you want more. " She murmurs softly to Jyn as she watches him. The two listen as he introduces himself before asking there names. The two bow slightly as the one closest to him speaks up, " It is a pleasure to meet you Jyn, I am Catalina. " she says with a smile as she moves to lean against the table close to Jyn. The other woman in the room slowly raises after bowing and looks to Jyn, " And I am Aaliyah. " the second young woman says as she moves around the table over to Jyn as well, " What are you two going to talk about? " Catalina asks as she looks down at Jyn. Aaliyah reached over and grabbed a few bits of meat from the plate and offer's to feed one of them to Jyn as the two wait for him to answer the question Catalina had asked him.

The attention from the females was like water to a plant for Jyn. As the women lean in, he makes a mental reminder to remember their names. His nose metaphorically grows in length as he’s given a venue in which to speak about himself and how important he was in the lives on these young ladies. “Hmm…” he murmurs lightly after the question is posed about what the discussion would be about. He leads on, “I wonder if I’m at liberty to tell you. You know, there are some aspects of leadership that not everyone is privy to…” Looking to each of them in a questioning manner, he would continue, “I’d have to trust that you ladies would be able to keep what’s discussed in this house to yourselves.” He gives it a moment to sink in before he sighs, “I’m joking, of course. But still there are very important things that we must discuss and since a lot of it is in the building stage, it’s not good to spread about rumors… I’m sure you both understand.” Moving from there, Jyn would lean back in his chair slightly and speak, “but a lot of it is about how things will be organized and ran… for the betterment of your village. No… rather instead of a village, we have the potential to grow into a pretty nice and prosperous town.”

As Jyn begins to speak Aaliyah and Catalina listen to him with there gaze set upon the male. When he begins to speak of trusting them the look on Catalina's face begins to shift as she starts to get a pouty look on her visage while looking down at him. As he continues speaking Catalina's continues to shift as she gives him the pouty sad face while looking down at him. Aaliyah's expression doesn't change much as she listens to the male speak. When he finally lets out the sigh and informs them that he is joking Catalina's expression quickly changes as she huffs lightly, " That wasn't nice. " She says teasingly to the male. " I see. " Catalina murmurs as Jyn explains what they plan to be talking about tonight.

It is only a few short moments after Jyn finishes speaking that Yuki finally makes his entrance into the living room. Coming down the hall from his room Yuki could already sense his companion and as he makes his way into the living room Yuki glances to the male for a moment before shifting his gaze to the two females, " Sorry about keeping you waiting. I hope the company didn't bother you to much. " Yuki says as he turns his attention back to his companion.

EXP: 236

Jyn looks up as his partner enters into the room. Not the partner in the sense that he would like to be with the ladies, but in a very manly way that Kiun would suggest is okay based on the rules and biblical teachers of the Gar’s Book of the Sage. With his gaze moving to the two ladies, he would softly say, “and excuse me…” to let them know that he would now be focusing on Yuki. He didn’t know if his friend were to put them out or not, but now that he had their names (and Rune would be finding pictures to associate with them) then he would be able to look them up later to do things such as hanging out, kicking it and what not. With a shake of his head, Jyn would offer, “not a bother, more of a pleasure. You could have stayed away longer.” Jyn teases playfully, “so you’ve discovered how to take baths now? I guess get a village then you become more sophisticated, eh?” The jovial male would wait for Yuki at the table, assuming that they would eat and meet there. Jyn could smell that the food that was either prepared or in the process of being prepared smelled good, so he was looking to dig in and get to the important stuff.

As Yuki enters into the room both Catalina and Aaliyah turn there attention to the village leader when they hear him speak up. Catalina inches closer to Jyn as he begins to speak excusing himself from there little conversation so that he could speak with Yuki now. Aaliyah bows her head before speaking, " Would you like something to drink? " She asks as she looks at Yuki. Shifting his attention Yuki glances to Aaliyah and gives a faint nod to her question before turning his attention back to Jyn. With her question answered Aaliyah moves away from Jyn and begins to prepare a drink for Yuki. " That so... " Yuki murmurs lightly as Jyn makes the comment as the two being more of a pleasure and him being gone longer. When Jyn makes the playful comment about him taking a bath Yuki lets forth a playful grow directed at his companion. " You didn't like the smell of a true man? " Yuki says to his companion as he moves over to the table and takes a seat. Aaliyah sets the drink down on the table in front of Yuki as Catalina glances between the two for a brief moment, giggling softly at all the comments being thrown around. " Are you two ready to eat? " Aaliyah asks as she glances to Jyn for a brief moment before looking back to Yuki.

Looking to the young lady, Jyn would nod and comment, “yes, I can’t wait to taste what you’ve prepared!” After giving her enough attention, his gaze shifts back to Yuki to answer his question, “to be truthful, I enjoy their smell better.” His smile would linger a few moments more before his face would become serious as per the nature of their discussion. He begins, “but about what we spoke about before, as you should remember I wanted to prioritize the current projects for the village.” He would speak in this filer time to allow the ladies time enough to begin to set the table for the two of them. Jyn would continue, “from what we spoke about, is there anything that stood out in your mind about what you want to look at first?” Jyn figured he would get a feel for what Yuki was thinking before he would go too deeply in things as it would give him a gauge on the best direction to take. After all, it was Yuki’s village, so he felt that he was there to support rather than to influence. After his words, he would recall that it would probably be best to make a list of the things that they were to discuss, so for that, he would allow Yuki to continue to speak, but he would stand for the moment and make his way over to the edge of the room where his items were laid down and begin searching for a piece of parchment and something to right with.

Yuki looks to Aaliyah after she asks the question about eating and he gives a faint nod to answer her question before turning his attention back to his companion. With an answer from the both of them, Aaliyah and Catalina begin to move about the table and get the plats set up for Yuki and Jyn. As Jyn makes the comment about the two females smelling better then he, Yuki chuckles softly in response, letting it slide given that females indeed did smell better then he did. As Jyn grows more serious and shifts topic to his village Yuki picks his drink up and takes a sip of it as he keeps his gaze fixed on his companion while listening to him. As he listened to his companion Yuki again begins to think upon his village and what all he would like to do with it right now as well as what he thinks needs to be done other then what he wants. Catalina and Aaliyah cant help but listen to Jyn as he speaks to there leader about the village while they finish setting up plate for the two males. " Well.. " Yuki begins as he keeps his gaze set upon his companion, " I would like to finish the wall around the village, however I am worried that we will expand to far and have to extend the wall out. Also I would like to start building up a military force as soon as I can in case someone does decide to attack the village. "

EXP: 264

Jyn nods as he continues to rustle through the belongings in his previously reference, at some point in time, bag of things and various items. In counter to the words that flowed from his companion, he makes the comment in a low and observational tone of understanding, “ah, so you’re focused on defense and offense… that’s pretty good.” He finds a notepad from the previous area which had been plundered from some cavern as some unspecified point in time and also finds a pen with an organizations logo and name on it, Greek to him since he didn’t speak or right the silly language. Standing up after retrieving the items, he turns and moves back to the table where his plate would be awaiting his arrival. On getting back, he would sit while placing the paper to the left side of the plate and write a small picture of a wall in order to reference it. He didn’t need anything too sophisticated, just something to serve as a reminder of their conversation. As things had turned out, Battousai managed to be good at getting people together, something no one had previously foreseen. He managed to pull people under himself in addition to the original that he come via Jyn from the neighboring clan in Medius. Jyn would also create some icons of an army to cover that portion of Yuki’s desires. He murmurs lightly to himself, “hmm… well we have beautiful women and a few workers… it’s going to be harder to convert workers and women to good fighters…” Looking back up at Yuki, Jyn comments, “though we may be able to offer something to mercenaries like yourself to settle down and join a militia?” It was just one idea among many, but Jyn jokes, “hell, or we can go hunt down a pack of wolf half demons and have you suppress them with your power and force them to work under you… ha ha…” He chuckles lightly at his own joke.

As he finishes speaking Yuki turns his attention to the plate of food that had been set before him, his gaze slowly shifting over the food that Catalina and Aaliyah had prepared for them. Yuki didn't waste any time in getting down to another type of business he had been looking forward to as he reaches out and picks up his knife and fork and begins to slice off a bit of the meat resting on his plate. Lifting his gaze for a moment he looks to his companion to see what he is doing and notices the little doodle his companion has made, though Yuki isn't it is but he can tell it kind of resembles a wall but he waits to see if his companion tells him. Turning his attention back to his food Yuki takes a slice of meat and stabs it with his fork before he slips the bit of meat into his mouth and begins to chew it up as he listens to Jyn as he murmurs to himself. A smirk came to the half-breeds face in response to the comment his companion had murmured to himself, indeed at the moment Yuki only had really females to pull from as a work force and military power. When he hears his companion finally speak to him, Yuki lifts his gaze and looks to his companion once again as he listens to what he has to say. Listening to his companion, Yuki thought upon what his companion is saying, tossing around the two ideas in his mind. After giving it a moment of thought Yuki nods his head faintly, " The first one is a fairly good idea though I would have to think on the second one.. "

EXP: 297

Jyn takes Yuki’s words as if he were joking back with him. The cartographer didn’t see the feasibility in happening upon half men half wolf hybrids that were primed for battle. The likelihood of finding something like that and forcing them to follow Yuki would be low, thought he would have to assume that there were others like Yuki in this world. Even with that, however, Yuki seemed more man than a hybrid of both; he was only wolf like in his transformation. Either way, after scribbling a bit, Jyn would notice that Yuki had eaten some of the food and since he didn’t want to insult the two ladies who had prepared the food for them. “Well, yeah,” he comments, as he would place the pen down long enough to take up arms with his fork, press down and split a piece of meat in two before piercing it and bringing it up to his mouth where h would partake of the savory substance. While towards the end of his chewing he would say, “but it does kind of help that you and Battousai have that alliance thing though with the other villages that are around here, right? How’s that coming along? They haven’t been back since that time, eh?”

After his comment Yuki would take another slice of meat from his plate and slip it into his mouth before he begins chewing it up. As he begins to chew up the next bit of meat Yuki dwells on what his companion had said, he knew he needed to increase his forces though he wasn't to sure on how to go about doing such a thing aside from going out and recruiting others to join him. As he hears his companion Yuki glances to the male for a brief moment, expecting him to continue though he falls silent as he begins to enjy his food. Having already had a meal both Catalina and Aaliyah remain close by to the two males to get anything they may head while they enjoy the meal and talk business, Catalina remains close to Jyn while Aaliyah stands close to Yuki. When his companion finally begins to speak up again, Yuki listens to him as he takes his cup and lifts it from the table as he takes another sip of water before giving a faint nod to Jyn's question, " No, they have not been back since that day nor have I went to see there villages so I'm not to sure how that is going. Having sensei does help, the both of you do actually. To be honest about the alliance with those villages I am grateful for it however I still hold the same position as I had before they showed up. I plan to build up an army strong enough to defend what is mine and take what I want... "

EXP: 273

Hearing Yuki’s words, Jyn figures to himself that he would have guessed that much. He nods, partially agreeing with Yuki as he leans back and voices his opinion, starting, “well, the way I see it, those guys know that we’re strong, so they want to depend on our strength. On top of that, since we’re strong, we’re also a threat to them… probably. They came over here to make sure we weren’t bandits or something and then tried to make you an offer to put you under their thumb. I didn’t really care for what they were offering and I didn’t see enough of a benefit in it for us. This world is full of limitless options and to be submission to a group or a council when you can create your own independent village… that just don’t sit right with me, you know?” Jyn lifts his hand forwards to his water, pulls it back to take a sip before sitting it back on the table and leaning forwards. Before he resumes eating, he comments, “if it were me, I would be trying to suppress them under our rule and not vice versa…” The fork stabs meat which is lifted to his mouth before he begins chewing and mumbles out, “but it’s still too early for something like that.” During this time, he would resume eating and allow Yuki to voice whatever he had to say while attempting to put a nice sized dent in the food that had been prepared for them.

Once he had finished speaking Yuki glances to his companio for a moment before turning his attention back to his food as he remains silent giving his companion a chance to speak his mind and as Jyn begins to speak Yuki remains silent as he listens to his companion. While listening to his companion Yuki tears a bit of bread off the piece on his plate and slips into his mouth as he thinks over what Jyn is saying. As he listens to his companion he thinks back upon the meeting he had with the male from the other village and what had been said between them. Lifting his gaze back to his compaion Yuki gives a faint nod as he understands what his companion is saying. Indeed Yuki didn't want to submit to the rule of someone else, though he had agreed to join there alliance for the sake of his village but he didn't want to be ruled by them. As his compaion continues to speak Yuki is a bit surprise by what his companion is saying though he gives the idea thought of bringing them under his rule. Such a thing could increase his power base in the region. When Jyn makes the comment about it being to early Yuki gives another nod, " .. I'll have to look into that for later when I have a bit more fighters to help. Though, it might be better to attempt such a thing with as little bloodshed as possible. "

EXP: 262

Jyn nods and comments, “yeah, chances are all you need to do is appear as if you’ve got a large military force and they’ll probably cower in fear and follow you, but if we do it in a negative manner, it could bite us in the ass in the end.” By this point, he had been listening to Yuki speak and swiftly eating his food at the same time. His words would come after a break and three gulps of the water that was at his disposal. His hand would reach back down and take up bread, wrapping it about a piece of meat and then would bit into the hastily made ‘sandwich’ before chewing several times and chugging down a bit more of the water. He would comment after a sigh and wiping his mouth with the back of his head, “people tend to not like to be oppressed, so if we conquer them, they could try to riot or something. Either way, we want to help people anyways, getting big should just be a side goal of that, I’d assume. Still, if there’s protection, people will generally want to go with the safest and most optimal choice in their best interests….” His gaze shifts back down to his paper before he realizes, “but yeah, that’s still a ways off. So right now, we have the immediate goal of a wall and an army. I think the village should have a blue print of what it looks like so that we can know every nook and cranny. Such a thing would help in the planning and development of the land too. People like pretty things, so I guess making the village look good should be in our goals, and we’re probably going to need more men.” Pausing for a moment, Jyn would wonder if that was a good idea since a bulk of the woman in the village were claimed by Yuki. Still, he continues, “and at the moment, I think you said you liked the idea of a council? Did you have anyone in mind to be on it? Right now your advisors are pretty much me, Battousai and Dravec, but are there any sharp people within your group that you’ve noticed?”

After speaking Yuki would turn his attetnion back to his food as he gives his comapion a moment to speak up on the matter while he also enjoyed more of the food that had been cooked for them. As he eat Yuki thought upon what his compaion says about going about it the wrong way coming back and bitting them in the ass which is something he would rather not happen though he knew the way he would go about taking the land would probably be a negative manner. When either of the male's needed something Catalina and Aaliyah would move form where they stood and refill glasses and get more food should either need more food or drink. When Aaliyah begins to refill his drink Yuki glances up at her for a moment and gives her a faint nod before he turns his attetnion back to his food and stabs a slice of beef on his plate before slipping it into his mouth and begins to chew on it. Lifting his gaze, Yuki glances to his compaion for a brief moment as the topic begins to change back to Theden and its development. Now that Theden had been brought back up Yuki pushes the thought of taking the other villages as his own aside and begins to focus on his village once again. As Jyn begins to speak upon the council idea once again, Yuki pauses for a moment as he finishes the bit of meat he had in his mouth before he begins to speak, " Not really.. Perhaps Lunara if she would be up for such a thing. I guess I should start searching for people that would be up for such a task. " Yuki says with a faint nod.

EXP: 301

“Hmm…” Jyn murmurs lightly on that note. He hadn’t seen the young lady around in quite a while, but since she was just reference by Yuki, he would assume the other hybrid knew where she was. He would comment, “you’ll also probably need generals in your army as well, to assist you as you get larger. But that’s still kind of far off.” Coming back to the topic of the white haired young lady that he hadn’t see in a while, he would make the comment, “so whatever happened to Lunara? I met her once when she was asleep in your bed back in the mansion in Medius. I haven’t seen her since? She must have teleportation abilities like Dravec?” With the completion of his question, he would go back to eating, now having accomplished finishing about three quarters fo the food that had been in front of him. He would then take the water and chug it down, starting to get full. The empty cup would be laid back down with a motion to one of the girls to refill it for him. His hand would push his plate to the side and his pen and paper would take to his foreground.

Keeping his gaze on his compaion Yuki listens as he begins to speak of having generals to help with his army when it beings to grow larger and as Jyn brings up the idea of having generals Yuki gives a faint nod as he thinks he already has one with Chamilia since she already leads what rangers he has, though he knew he needed someone to take charge of the group of warriors he has now. When his companion changes the subject and begins to speak of Lunara, Yuki continues to listen to him as he questions where she has been, though he cant help but wonder about the time he had met her when she was asleep in his bed. Yuki begins to wonder about having a sit down with he and talking to her about using there body.. Pushing the thought aside with the shake of his head Yuki begins to speak, " No, she cant teleport around... And she has been around the village. She helps out from time to time. The next time I see her I'll let her know you are looking for her? " As Jyn motions for his cup to be refilled Catalina picks up the pitcher of water and moves over to his side and begins to refill his cup. " I believe I already have a general.. Chamilia is in command of a small group of rangers. "

EXP: 239

“Wow…” Jyn murmurs lightly. Even though the village was primarily comprised of women, he was a bit shocked that he had managed to miss Lunara, even in passing. He felt that he may have been slipping on his awareness, but would make a mental note to be a bit more aware of his surroundings. Nonverbally answering, Jyn simply gives a shrug to answer the question as his companion moves on speak on his generals. With a nod, Jyn would admit, “ah, then that’s cool since you’ve already got a team leader assigned to your militia.” Returning his mind to focus on their purpose, he would rest his elbow on the table and rest the fist of that elbow against the side of his cheek as he thought for a moment over what they had to do. “So it looks like if we’re prioritizing these things, what seems like it’s the most important thing to finish first? The wall during the reconstruction of the village? For the village map, about how many people do you think we’ll want to try to accommodate for? Once we repair the houses that were destroyed, it looks like we might have more structures than people to put in them.”

Listening to his companions reaction Yuki begins to wonder if he should track down Lunara later and let her know that he has been looking for her. However for right now there was other more important buisness to take care of so Yuki pushes the thoguht aside as he gets back to focusing on the matters at hand. As things begin to shift back onto the topic and hand and his compaion begisn to speak Yuki gives a faint nod to his comment about having a leader assigned to his 'militia'. Keeping his gaze set upon Jyn, Yuki watchd him as he shifts before proping up on his elbows before he conintinues speaking, now shifting back to the village and what needs to be taken care of first. Yuki continues to listne to his compaion as he speaks and begins to think upon the wall once again however as his comapion begins to speak of the map and how many people he thinks he will be accommodating Yuki begins to think upon how many people they have now nad how many more he thought might come, though he had no true idea of just how many people would come to live in Theden so he gives a faint shrug. " I don't know how many I plan to accomodate though I would like to have homes ready for thouse who will need them. "

EXP: 242

“Hmm…” Jyn would say while looking at him with a neutral expression, “so no real opinion there…” He would shrug, “that’s fine, well, it looks like we’re on track with that then. I’ll just map the current houses that we’re in the process of reconstructing… people will claim a house that is empty, probably… but we’ll probably need to come up with a way to either assign houses, or know who is in what house. The people who lived in the village before it was destroyed should naturally live in their homes, but for the ones that will be coming in and occupying homes, giving away free homes that we’re building is a bit much. If we catalog who’s living where, that’s probably good, and we’ll probably want to make sure that people are pulling their weight around the village. We don’t need a village full of homeless people in homes but who don’t do anything…” Jyn eyes brows furrow a little as he seems to realize, “what are we going to produce? After speaking Yuki picks up his mug and takes another sip of its conents as he listens to Jyn. While listening to Jyn, Yuki gives a faint nod as he talks about making a map of the current hosues being made. As he starts to talk about a way to asign houses to people instead of simply letting them take an empity one, Yuki thinks on it for a moment, wondering if such a thing would be a good idea. While listening Yuki did agree with the idea of giving thouse that lived here before the attack there homes back and if there homes had been destoryed then rebuild them for the people. Listening to Jyn as he brings up how giving people homes is to much and how they need to pull there own weight around the village makes Yuki think on it more. He didn't want a village of people doing nothing, no if you were able to work then that is what you should be doing in some form or fassion. Yuki continues to think on the matter of people pulling there weight around the village for a brief moment until Jyn begins to shift the topic to what Theden will produce to help trade and the village. Already having an idea for what he could offer to other villages and people, Yuki gives a faint nod as he begins to speak, " Well, there is already one thing that we can add to that list that we can offer. Drawing upon my life as a mercenary, we will offer our strength as a military power to those who may need the survices of a mercenary military. "

“Oh yeah…” Jyn remembers as he looks at Yuki and feels dumb for even asking something like that. From the time he met Yuki, the male had been a mercenary and always focused on fighting. With a slight nod, it makes perfect sense to him. “So… we’ll need an army for that purpose too…” Jyn understands, “so they’ll be for both protecting us and to use to rent out to others. That works…” In thinking about the things it would take in order to build up a mercenary force, Jyn speaks outloud as he comments, “we’ll probably want an in house blacksmith… so we’ll need to find someone skilled at that…” He continues, “we’ll probably need better training grounds, other than the meadows, or at least situate it better…” He sighs lightly, “but we don’t want to ugly up the village by making it all war like… and it might be better to hide our training areas in the mountains or something like that.” Jyn was able to understand that he had a lot to think about. He was getting a feel that Yuki wasn’t the deep type. He knew want he wanted, but Jyn assumed that Yuki would probably only be able to say ‘yes I like that’ or ‘no I don’t like that’ when it came to in depth brainstorming… which was fine because Yuki was a fighter. Jyn could at least understand that they would have to find talented individuals to assist them in their endeavors. With a grin, Jyn would comment, “but I think we’re making good progress so far.”

As Jyn speaks Yuki gives a faint nod before shifting his attention away from his companion as he thinks upon what he had just said about a mercenary military. Yuki figured he would just apply his thinking as a mercenary on a much larger scale and go about taking care of people's problems with an army in exchange for valuable items. Nodding his head again, Yuki aggress with Jyn's comment about needign an army, though he wasn't sure of the size of the army he would need but you cant go wrong with a large army. While Jyn continues to speak, Yuki finishes off the rest of the food on his plate before taking another sip of his drink, thinking upon what his companion has to say about the matter. Knowing that Yuki would want more food, Aaliyah moves over and carefully reaches around in front of Yuki and grabs his plate before she goes to put some more food on it for him. Lifting his gaze back to his compaion as he begins to speak of not uglying the village and making it war like but instead hiding training areas, Yuki cant help but raise an eye brow as he thinks on the idea of hiding his training areas. He wasn't all to sure on the idea though he figured Jyn had some reasoning behind it. When Jyn finishes speaking Yuki gives a faint nod. " Tell me, why would we try and hide the training areas? I can understand why not to ugly up the village nad make it all war like.. We don't want to scare newcomers off but we do want them to know they will be safe in Theden. "

“Eh?” Jyn would lift an eyebrow at the question. Resuming a normal visage, he would answer, “I guess just so it’s not the first thing people see when they come to our village. But now that you ask that question, it seems to make sense say for instance there is a group trying to spy on us and estimate our military force….” With a shrug, Jyn would answer, “but that would probably be more of a headache than it would be worth. The wall should work fine to give us our privacy, but there might not be a good reason to hide training areas. I meant basically just not to have them out in the open, or in areas where we could build farms or something.” The cartographer was still on the thought that they had a good amount of thing to work on that they had talked about so far. He figured the first thing he would perform would be to map the village and the areas where the wall would be going and where the current structures were. Once he drafted that map, he could have Yuki approve of it, then implement it so that the villagers doing the building would all be on the same accord. In a concluding tone, Jyn would ask, “but was there anything else in specific you wanted to bring up?”

After the question about hiding the training areas Yuki waits to see what his companion would have to say so he could understand his reasoning behind the thought of hiding them. As his companion begins to speak Yuki listens to him as he begins to explain the reasoning behind hiding the camps and as he brings up the point of not having it as the first thing people see when they get to Theden Yuki gives a faint nod as he think upon that, perhaps it would be a good thing to have them off somewhere else in more of a military district or area instead of being right out where newcomers can see them. And then there is the thought of someone spying on them, which would be a problem as well but the wall they are building should help with some of that hopefully. " I see.. " Yuki murmurs as his companion finishes explaining the reasoning behind having the areas hidden or at least in a different place. With the topic brought up Yuki begins to think on it as well, perhaps they needed an part of the village set up just for military purposes.. As Jyn speaks up again asking if there is anything else that he wishes to bring up, Yuki shakes his head faintly, " I don't believe so, what about you? "

Shaking his head, Jyn would comment, “no, that’s all I need for now. I’m going to take some time now while it’s fresh on my mind and get out of here to map what we’ve got so far and where I think would be a good place to put the wall and all. I should have something for you to look at before the morning.” He wanted to make sure that he did all of this before he would eventually have to leave the village to go on his never ending quest. With that, he would roll up the paper that had been laid before them and stuffs it in his back pocket as he stood up. Allowing any final words from his friend, he would end things with, “see you in the morning.” With that, he would turn and head back towards his bag where he would look through it for the paper he had begun making a map with. He figured if the moonlight was good, then he should have no problem making a rough draft of the village. There was a particular rooftop that he found that was sturdy enough to sit on and had a good lay of the land.

As Jyn begins to speak, Yuki nods his head faintly as his companion seems to have nothing else he would like to bring up and talk about. Yuki continues to listen to his companion as he speaks of the map once again and again he nods his head as Jyn informs him that he should have something read for him in the morning. "Alright. " Yuki says to his companion as he watches him begin to pack up before he raises up from his seat. As his companion raises up Yuki shifts his gaze to follow the male, " Well, I guess I will see you tomorrow. Goodnight Jyn. " Yuki says as he slowly raises from his seat as well. The half-breed nods his head again as Jyn speaks up headed for his bag. Stepping around the table Yuki makes his way over to the door and pulls it open for his companion. Catalina watches Jyn as he gets up and moves over to his bag, " Hope you enjoyed the meal. " She says with a smile as she watches Jyn. Now that the two where finished Aaliyah begins to gather up all the dirty dishes to take them to the kitchen.

In an off handed manner, Jyn would have his words of good night follow behind Yuki as he makes his departure from the scene. His main attention, however, would be on the quest of getting together the materials that would be needed for the nightly chore he was about to perform. Attracting more attention than Yukis voice, Jyn looks towards Catalina as she speaks and is blank for a moment before he remembers his manners, oh yes, the dinner was excellent and it filled me pretty well too. He rolls up his make shift map in progress and places it into his back pocket while stuffing his utensils in the pockets of his utility cargo pants. He continues, I can tell youre quite the cook. You have my full appreciation for pleasing my stomach. Theres a cheeky grin that accompanies the words as he stands to his feet and walks over across the room to the door. Jyn thought about perhaps staying and flirting a little more, but figured that he could a little later, so he just says, it would be nice to have breakfast in the morning He would say it like a joke, but leave enough of a hint for her to follow if she wanted; if not, then it wouldnt be a big deal since he probably would forget what he had just said by then. With that, he would move to the door and exit it, heading outside to perform the task which he had set his mind to do.

Catalina listens as Jyn begins to speak and as he compliments the food her cheeks begin to shift to a soft pink as she starts to blush at the comment from the male. Yuki remains silent as he stands next to the door with it open form his companion. As he continues to speak Catalina listens to him as she brings her hands up to cover her face as she giggles softly, still blushing. As Jyn makes his way over to the door Yuki keeps it open for his companion as he bids the male farewell with a faint nod. Catalina follows after Jyn, leaving all the cleaning up to Aaliyah. Catalina nods her head as Jyn makes the comment about having breakfast in the morning, something she would be looking forward too. Yuki listens to the two talk and it draws a soft sigh from the half-breed though he doesn't say anything since it wasn't his place since Catalina was not someone he had 'claimed'. Catalina follows after Jyn as he makes his way out side. As she follows after Jyn she agrees to the breakfast with him and tells him where she lives in the village before going back to help with the clean up.
