Training Exercises - Archery Practice I
- Troops: 6 Elven Rangers

With a soft sigh Yuki slowly shifts his gaze and glances between the six female archers he had been tasked with helping train, though he knew little to nothing about there trade in combat since he had not used a bow to fight with and preferred to be up close to the enemy when fighting them. Even though Yuki did not know how to use a bow really he knew that he had to do something so his 'soldiers' could train and become better so should the need for combat arise he will be ready to deal with it. It was with this in mind that he had targets set up for the archers to shoot at so they could practice against non living targets in the hopes to put there training to good use when the actual fighting begins. Turning his gaze from the archers Yuki glances to the targets for a moment and shifts his gaze between them. Not only had he brought his archers out here but he had also called upon Chamilia to join him as well. Chamilia stood next to Yuki, her gaze set upon the six archers that stood at the ready, her bow resting on her back as she slowly shifts her gaze. " Alright. " Yuki says with a soft grumble as he shifts his attention back to the archers for a moment as he thinks. The six turn there attention to Yuki and wait for his orders. Chamilia also turns her attention to Yuki as he speaks, waiting for his order as well. Yuki takes a brief moment to think upon what an archer does before he begins to speak again, " Ready your bows. " He orders as he looks at the six archers. The six archers follow the orders of Yuki and bring there bows up, holding them out as they wait for his next instruction. " Now, start firing at your target. " Yuki adds before turning his attention from the archers. The archers reach back to there quivers and draw an arrow before bringing it to there bow and knocking it on the string before drawing the arrow and firing at there targets. As the archers open fire Yuki shifts his attention to the targets and watches as the arrows hit the individual targets. As he watched Yuki realized he wasn't exactly sure how this should go down since he was not an archer, though he figured that hitting a specific spot on the target would be a good thing.. After the first volley of arrows, the six archers each take another arrow from there quivers and draw it back on there bows before firing at the targets once again. Yuki keeps his attention set on the targets as the six archers again fire at the targets. As the arrows hit the targets Yuki shifts his gaze between the targets.

After taking a moment to look at the targets Yuki shifts his attention back to the six archers. Since Yuki had yet to give them the command to stop, the six archers each draw another arrow from there quivers before knocking the arrows on there bows and drawing them back before opening fire once again at there respective targets. After a brief moment longer Chamilia spoke up as she looked at the half-breed, " What do you think Yuki? " She asked before falling silent as she watched Yuki, waiting to see what his response would be. When he heard Chamilia speak up Yuki shifts his attention and looks to her, remaining silent for a moment before turning his gaze from her and looking to the targes as he speaks up, " I think they did good... However I would like them to continue training. " Yuki says with a faint nod as he glances back to Chamilia, " Perhaps you can step up and help them out some and practice a bit yourself. Don't want you losing your skill. " Yuki says playfully to the female. Chamilia listens to Yuki as he speaks and once he finishes speaking she gives a faint nod though she lets out a light huff, " Do you really think I need to practice as well? " She asked, questioning Yuki's command for her to join the archers with training. When Chamilia spoke up again, questioning Yuki's order he gave her a soft glare, " Yes I do my dear. " Yuki says, finishing his statement with a light growl directed at her. While Yuki spoke with Chamilia on the matter the six archers continued to follow through with there practice and fire arrow after arrow at there respective targets. When she seen the glare from Yuki a soft frown took form on Chamilia's face as she watched him, listening as he begins to speak to her. As he spoke to her she listened to him and when he let out the growl she began to tense up at his growl, " A-Alright.. " She says with a faint nod. Moving away from Yuki Chamilia moves over to the six archers and begins to move from archer to archer, taking a brief moment with each of them to make sure they are holding there bow's correctly as well as correct any other problems they my have. After taking a moment to correct any problems the six my have she lets out a soft sigh, " I'll give a demonstration if that's alright with you. " She says, glancing to Yuki. Yuki had gave a faint nod when Chamilia complied with his order and he watched her and the archers as she begin to speak with them and correct some problems they had, unfortunately Yuki didn't know exactly what was wrong with there form and all that so he had to rely on his commander Chamilia to take care of problems like that, though he didn't mind simply watching his female warriors as they practice.

When he heard Chamilia speak to him Yuki lifts his gaze to look at her and takes a brief moment to think upon what she had asked before giving a faint nod, " That would be good. " Yuki says as he looks at Chamilia for a moment, his gaze shifting over her form as he waits for her to give a demonstration. " Alright. " Chamilia says with a soft smile as she looks at Yuki. Turning her attention from Yuki she looks to the archers, " Cease fire. " she orders the archers and waits a moment for them to stop before she moves in front of them. When the order came from Chamilia to stop firing the six archers lower there bow's and watch as Chamilia moves before them. Coming to a stop in front of the archers, Chamilia looks to the six archers for a brief moment before glancing to Yuki as she pulls her bow from her back and grabs an arrow from her quiver as well. Turning to face the targets Chamilia brought her bow up and knocked the arrow onto the string before she begins to draw it back. " When you take aim at a target you want to aim for there vitals if you are close enough to see vital areas. " She begins to speak as she takes aim at one of the targets while drawing the arrow back, " If you can, don't rush the shot. Take your time and line the shot up. " Chamilia adds as she lines up her shot while gazing down range at one of the targets and once she has her shot lined up she releases her graps on the string and looses the arrow. The arrow is launched from the bow and flys through the air before striking the center of the target Chamilia had been aiming at. Having been watching Chamilia, Yuki listened to her as she spoke when giving the demonstration, he thought on her words and made sure to keep them in mind for later when he needed to say something like that to the archers. Lifting his hands he gives a light clap when Chamilia had hit the center of the target with an arrow, " Good job my dear. ", Yuki comments as the other archers join in and applaud the shot Chamilia had taken. Chamilia looks to Yuki and smiles faintly as she bows her head, " Thank you. " She murmurs before turning her attention to the archers, " Now, when you practice do as I have shown you and said. If we are to be attacked one day we all need to be ready to defend Theden with our lives. " Chamilia says the the archers before she slips her bow back onto her back and moves back over to Yuki's side. The archers listened to the words Chamilia had spoken about protecting the village when the time comes and they give nods of acknowledgement to her statement.

Training Exercises - Melee Combat I
- Troops: 4 Human Warriors

Standing before the four young warriors Yuki slowly shifts his gaze between them and lets out a soft grumble, they where not that old and thus he felt that they were rather inexperienced in combat so Yuki felt it fell upon him to get these four into shape and ready for combat. As he looked at the four the half-breed questioned leaving his life in the hands of these warriors since he didn't think they had the expertness that he had, though he knew that if it came down to it they would be fighting along side him in the thick of battle and if it did come down to something like that he knew that he wanted them to be ready and able to handle themselves in combat and cover his back. " Alright... I want you four to break off into two pairs. You each have been given a wooden shield and sword so you don't hurt yourselves because you will be hitting each other. I do hope as children you played with sticks as swords because that is pretty much what you will be doing right now. " Yuki says as he shifts his gaze between the four standing in front of him. The group of four had been listening and watching Yuki and after the order they look to each other before looking at the wooden shield and sword they held before they break off into two groups and stand before each other. Yuki nods as he watches the four break into two groups and face each other, " Now begin fighting. " Yuki says as he watches the group. At first the group of four was rather reluctant but after a brief moment they go at each other in there groups. Utilizing there sword and shield the warriors go at each other, striking and defending incoming blows as well as getting hit by the wooden swords. Yuki watches the group as they begin to fight after he had told them to, his gaze slowly shifting between the four and after a moment he speaks up, " Alright stop. " He says to the group. When they hear Yuki's command the four warriors stop fighting and look to him. Once they had stopped Yuki begins to move and makes his way over to them and reaches his hand out, " Let me see your sword. " He says to one of the warriors. The warrior Yuki had spoken to offers him the makeshift wooden sword. Yuki takes the sword from him and glances at it for a moment before looking to the male, " You, step forward. " Yuki says as he glances to another of the warriors. " Yes sir. " The warrior says with a nod as he steps forwards. As the warrior steps forwards Yuki strikes out at him with the makeshift wooden sword, thrusting the tip of the weapon into his stomach causing the warrior to bend over as he gasps for air, " ... The enemy is not going to show you mercy in combat so you must remain on guard at all times, ready to defend yourself with sword and shield. " Yuki says as he glances to the other three warriors.

As Chamilia came to stand next to his side once again Yuki glanced to her, his gaze shiting over her form briefly before he turnd his gaze from her and gave a faint nod, " Now. " Yuki begins to speak as he turns his gaze to the six archers, " I would like you all to take what Chamilia has said and think upon it. There will come a time when someone comes to take what we have and when that time comes we must be ready to defend what is ours. Not only must we defend what is ours, but we will also take what is theres. This is why we train. " Yuki says to the six archers. Chamilia glances to Yuki for a moment before turning her attention back to the archers, " Begin firing once again. " She says to the six archers. After having listened to the speech given by Yuki the six wait with there eyes set upon there leader and when Chamilia gives the order to again open fire the six give a nod, " Alright. " all six say as they bring there bows up and get ready to shoot at the targets once again as they have been instructed. Following the instruction given to them by Chamilia after her demonstration, each of the six archers take an arrow from there quivers, knock it on there bow string before drawing it back as they take aim at there respective targets. As the six archers take aim at there targets they take a moment to do as Chamilia had instructed in her demonstration and line up there shots before they finally release there grip on the arrow's they had knocked up on there bows and fire them at there targets. After the first volly of arrows the archers continue with another volly of arrows down range at there targets. Yuki watches as the archers follow the order given to them by Chamilia and begin to once again fire at there targets. To him it seemed as if his message had gotten trough to the six, though he hoped that they felt the same as he did. Since they had not been given any order to stop the archers continue to fire at there targets. The archers continue to fire volly after volly of arrows at there targets until finally they run out of arrows in there quivers. As the archers run out of arrows they lower there bows and look to Yuki and Chamilia. Yuki continues to watch the archers as they fire at there targets, not having them stop for the time being since he wished for them to get a good bit of practice in. When they finally run out of arrows Yuki figures that is a good point for them to take a break from practicing since they had used all there arrows, " Alright. That was enough for today. You all are dismissed. " Yuki says to the archers with a faint nod. With the order from Yuki the archers put there bows away before they begin to collect there arrows before going about the rest of there duties. Yuki glances to Chamilia for a moment before he turns and walks away to take care of other things with Chamilia following after him.

- Troops: 4 Human Warriors

The three had watched there leader as he struck the one warrior and they turn there gaze to the warrior that had been struck as they each give a faint nod, " Yes sir. " they say as they look back to Yuki. Reaching out, Yuki helps the warrior he had hit. The warrior Yuki had hit slowly raises back up with the help of his leader and rubs his chest where he had been struck by the wooden sword. After helping the warrior stand Yuki shifts his gaze and glances between them for a moment, " Never take your enemy lightly and always remain on guard while facing any foe no matter what strength they may have. There will come a day when we must defend Theden and its people with our lives and when that day comes you all must be ready to take up arms and put your lives on the line for the village. " Yuki says as he shifts his gaze between the four warriors, wishing he had more to train though he knew in time he would have more. The warrior that had been struck moves back with the rest of the warriors as they listen to Yuki's speech. As he finishes speaking Yuki lets out a soft sigh, " That is all for today. " He says with a faint nod before he turns and begins walking away.
